I really wish I could give this place more stars, the staff were very good, however the resort is in need of TLC. Our room was clean, but there was a couple of drawer fronts not on properly, the wood of the doors looked like it was rotten at the bottom and the balcony sliding door did not want to stay on the rail. That said the room was a generous size with a separate sleeping area, all the bedding was clean and comfortable. The facilities in the room was bare minimum however it was an all-inclusive holiday so I did not even attempt to use them. The food in the restaurant was nothing fancy, but there was plenty of it and something for everyone. There was a chicken paella dish that was particularly tasty and tempted me for seconds. Nothing wrong at all for the main pool area however I did overhear someone say the kids pool was horrific, I was not tempted to go and see for myself. There was entertainment every day and evening, I was just gutted that I missed the bingo on the Monday, not the fault of the resort, the entertainment host was very good at getting people involved in the events. When I booked this resort it was the cheapest all-inclusive deal at the time, for the price I paid it was what I was expecting, it was advertised as a 3 star, and overall this is probably an accurate reflection.

My partner and I stayed here for a week in the middle of April. Overall I'd say the hotel was okay for the money we paid.
Our room was rather sparse and definitely needed a refresh. No Aircon and the ceiling fan in the living room/kitchen area had a hole in the ceiling behind it so we were reluctant to turn it on out of fear it would fly off and decapitate one of us. There were also only two electrical sockets in the entire apartment, neither of which were in the bedroom.
We had heard lots of reports of guests rooms being broken into during their stay. Luckily that didn't happen to us but it did put us on our guard, especially after finding out the hotel was also home to full time residents, not strictly hotel guests.
Staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was tasty. My only criticism about the food was that it was a little repetitive, especially breakfast and there wasn't a huge range to choose from. During peak times food was eaten quickly and not replenished at the same rate so you'd often have to wait.
While I can't say I'd recommend the hotel, it wasn't an awful experience for us personally, but I certainly wouldn't be in a rush to go back.

We booked this place as we were looking for a cheap all inclusive deal and it was one of the cheapest we could find. Shortly after booking, I read some more reviews and if I’m honest, I was dreading the holiday as it sounded like the holiday from hell. Arriving on the bus from the hotel furthered my doubts, first impressions were not great at all - the hotel sign is faded and peeling, the hotel itself looks like it’s dropping to bits from the outside and the reception was a bit tatty round the edges and looked like when I’d been on holiday in the 90s as a kid. After letting myself into the room, I was equally unimpressed, partly because of my expectations and what I had seen on my way there. The room was a large expanse of open space, loose old tiles, worn out doors, a twin bed instead of a double and lots of worn out and falling apart trim etc.
However, think about what you paid and what you’re getting; either the flights must be free, the room must be free, or the food and drinks must be free because you couldn’t get what you get for the price you pay.
The beds are actually really comfy, yes the rooms a bit worn out but does it matter?
The drinks and food are decent, yes there’s not much variety, but you’re getting fed three meals a day with as much to drink as you want.
You’re getting flown here from the UK (or other destination of your choice), with a transfer from the airport included.
All in all, I probably won’t return and I probably wouldn’t recommend the place to friends and family, but if you’ve booked a super cheap all inclusive break in the sun, you’re now reading the reviews and wonder what you’ve let yourself in for then don’t worry and just go for it - the worst reviews must be from people who just love a whinge and think they are classier than they actually are, because you could do far, far worse than this place.
P.S. you spent so little on the holiday you can afford to go out a couple of times, so pop down to Lizzie’s Bistro down the road for a great meal or drinks if you want a break from the buffet and paper cups

Rooms are nothing like the photos. The shower head must never get cleaned. The food in the restaurant was tolerable. Sometimes the service was very good from the staff and bar staff but other times it felt like you just were not wanted.
The guy who did the entertainment throughout the day and at night was amazing he is the only thing about the place that was good.

Don't bother! We booked for a bit of Easter holiday sun (9-16th April 2025) We got the sun but the hotel left a lot to be desired, even for a budget hotel.
The rooms were dated and reminded me of a hostel experience Id once had as a student! Fine when you are 18 but not 30 years later with 2 kids!
Note to all, if you have a late departure they insist on cutting off your wrist bands when you hand in your room key at noon. Our transfer time was 17:00 so we had 5 hours to kill! They give you a voucher so that you can go into the 'restaurant' and get lunch (didn't bother) but if want to be able to stay hydrated around the pool then no can do at Don Pedro!
One guy on reception was lovely and very helpful, and the entertainment people were upbeat and enthusiastic but apart from that some of them were just downright rude! I felt like i had travelled back in time to the Armada
My advice: Stay home and get a sunlamp!
