When they first showed us the room, we noticed it didn’t have a balcony, so I requested a room change. They showed us a few different rooms, and we settled into the one we liked the most. The staff here are very kind and solution-oriented. The beach is within walking distance, and the sea is especially great for families with children.
The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the food is varied and delicious. It is also very close to markets, shopping malls, and many other places. This hotel will give you a wonderful holiday experience. I highly recommend it.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
I booked this stay to enjoy a few days of rest during my vacation after a very demanding and exhausting work period. Unfortunately, from the moment I arrived until the day I left, the experience was extremely disappointing.
The biggest issue was the overall hospitality and customer service. Starting with the morning-shift reception team and extending to the restaurant staff, the majority of employees seemed uninterested in helping guests. Their attitude was unfriendly, their approach lacked professionalism, and they showed very poor customer service skills. Instead of making guests feel welcomed, the general impression was that staff members did not want to be there or interact with customers. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere throughout the entire stay.
The reception team was particularly disappointing. The receptionist working the morning shift displayed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude toward guests. As the first point of contact in any hotel, reception staff should create a positive and welcoming experience, but unfortunately this was not the case.
Room 1210 was another major disappointment, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The bathroom door lock was defective and frequently opened by itself. The air conditioning was performing very poorly and was unable to cool the room properly. The room telephone was not functioning correctly, and the mini fridge was also operating inefficiently.
I reported these issues to reception, and a maintenance employee visited the room. However, I was informed that this was simply the normal performance of the central air-conditioning system. Unfortunately, regardless of the explanation, the result was that the room remained uncomfortable and did not meet basic expectations for a hotel stay.
The food quality was also below expectations and did not match the standards that guests would reasonably expect from a hotel experience.
The only employees who deserve special recognition are Abdallah from the night-shift reception team and Ahmed from housekeeping. Both were professional, respectful, helpful, and genuinely cared about guest satisfaction. They were the only staff members who consistently demonstrated the level of hospitality that should be expected throughout the hotel.
Unfortunately, their efforts alone could not compensate for the poor customer service, maintenance issues, and overall lack of hospitality experienced during my stay.
Management should seriously review staff training, customer service standards, maintenance procedures, and guest experience policies.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.

Elysees Dream Beach Hotel is a good choice for a 3-star hotel. The room furniture is acceptable, although some maintenance is needed for the doors and air-conditioning units. The gym also requires some maintenance, and the pontoon stairs at the beach need repair.
The food was excellent, and Executive Chef Hassan was always present and actively following up to ensure high food quality and excellent restaurant service. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Sayed, the Reception Manager.
The animation team is good and entertaining, but adding more interactive activities and competitions would help guests enjoy themselves more and get to know each other. Beach games such as beach volleyball and racket games would be a great addition.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed our time at the hotel.

A month ago, I vacationed in this hotel. The first thing they do is give you the worst possible room, if you want a better room YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT, even though the agency offers the best room you can pay for. The fault lies on both sides, on the agency's side and on the hotel's side.
The staff is nice except the people at the reception, they constantly offered the worst possible rooms until you argue with them so much that they give you a better room because you paid for it all. Just to mention that I paid for a room with a terrace and a view of the beach, in the end the only thing they offered me that was acceptable was a small room (the only one that was decent) without a terrace and with a view of the main street below the night club.
The beach within the hotel is wonderful and the employees on the beach are very friendly. Wiz and Shagy are the best animators in the world.
The food in the hotel is not bad, but it could be better. Rooms are generally the cleanest when you leave them a tip. I didn't have a problem with the cleaners, they are always nice both when you tip them and when you don't. Within the hotel you have two restaurants, we used Panorama and it is really nice, the head chef is very nice and will always offer you the best.
All in all, it was very nice, but I would never visit this hotel again.

At first glance, Elysees Hotel doesn’t look bad at all. The building is decent, the beach is actually beautiful, and you arrive with the hope that you’ve made a good choice. Unfortunately, once the stay begins, reality slowly but consistently pulls you back to the ground.
Let’s start with something basic: the room key cards. Opening the door felt like a daily challenge. Every single time we returned to the room, we lost around 10 minutes just trying to get inside. The cards rarely worked properly, so we often had to call someone from the staff to help. The best part? The door magically opened when reception staff tried it, usually accompanied by a look that clearly said “It works for me, maybe you just don’t know how to use it.” Not exactly the welcome feeling you expect after a long day.
Now, about the all-inclusive buffet. If you love chicken, you might actually enjoy it here. If not… good luck. The food options were extremely limited, repetitive, and uninspired. After a few days, it felt like chicken was the only protein known to mankind. Variety is almost non-existent, and by the end of the stay, eating became more of a necessity than a pleasure.
The WiFi almost inexistent through all the hotel.
The staff experience, especially at reception, was probably the most disappointing part. Reception should be the face of a hotel, but here it felt cold, unfriendly, and clearly tip-oriented. In many situations, it felt like money was expected rather than appreciated. There were even subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) attempts to push “premium” rooms under the table. If you refused, you somehow ended up in rooms where sleeping was nearly impossible due to traffic noise or other disturbances. Coincidence? Hard to believe.
If you plan to enjoy a drink at the bar, prepare yourself for a serious contribution to plastic pollution. Drinks are served in tiny 100 ml plastic cups, usually half full. If you politely ask for a full one, you’ll be rewarded with judgmental looks from the staff, as if you’ve just committed a social crime. Relaxation shouldn’t come with guilt or awkward stares.
Although the hotel is advertised as child-friendly, this is more of a marketing label than reality. There are no real activities for children. None. The main “attraction” is the heated pool — which, during our entire week, was heated for exactly one day. Maybe heating it is also a paid extra… who knows? 🙂
Final Thoughts
This hotel has potential. It really does. The location is good, the beach is beautiful, and the building itself isn’t bad at all. But without proper staff training and a genuine customer-first mentality, Elysees risks ending up like many other abandoned and decaying hotels you can already see along the coast.
Advice for Future Guests
Pay a little more and choose a better-balanced option. You’ll spend that extra money anyway on external restaurants because hunger will inevitably push you outside the hotel due to the lack of food variety. In the end, saving a few euros here might cost you comfort, patience, and enjoyment
