Very nice resort that really fulfilled our expectations for first family vacation with kids.
Rooms are nice and spacey and fully fulfill needs during vacation.
Food was all-inclusive, good quality and wide range of choices.
Staff was great and very friendly.
The beach is not far away but the height difference is troublesome.
We spend few days walking, but due to kids, switched to taxi service.
Can recommend.

Overall a satisfactory stay, the all inclusive experience left a little to be desired with cordial used in the cocktails opposed to fruit juice. The beer was a bit suspect too as the same brand in restaurants at the harbour seemed stronger.
The welcome pack and when booking all stated if you were unhappy with the room speak to reception but we were constantly told come back tomorrow, after 3 days we gave up.
Nice location but service could be better.

From the hotel, the view is stunning, and the hotel staff I met were perfect—very kind.
At the restaurant, the meals are decent: some products are very good, while others are very bad. Be aware that the all-inclusive drinks are really poor quality—everything, even the sodas, is extremely low-end.
Getting around the hotel is physically demanding because everything is uphill. Access to the beach is really difficult. Yes, there are shuttles, but they are very poorly organized. Personally, I recommend renting a car for all travel needs, even just to go from your room to the hotel restaurant.
Obviously, don’t rent a car through the hotel—go directly through rental companies in town, the prices are better. Don’t forget to take the full insurance with zero excess so you can enjoy your holiday stress-free.
I strongly advise against the Santorini excursion—it’s overcrowded, the time on the island is extremely limited, and it really feels like a tourist scam.
The hotel rooms are very clean.
This hotel offers relatively low prices, so be aware that the clientele may not always be the best—except in June and in September/October (outside school holidays).
When you arrive at the airport, the shuttle to the hotel stops at many other hotels to drop off guests, so the journey is extremely long. You might want to consider booking a private transfer—more expensive, yes, but far more comfortable.

My family and I (17 of us) stayed here from 16th -23rd august and we had the most amazing holiday.
We were initially quite nervous to stay after reading some of the reviews, but we had a wonderful stay.
All the staff, particular the hotel mangers, reception and bar staff were all so polite and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Especially Paul and nick who were a pleasure to meet and made our family holiday so special.
During our stay we had 3 birthdays and a 40th wedding anniversary and the hotel decorated our rooms and allowed us to go in the church on site so that we could celebrate the wedding anniversary. They ensured that we all had a fab time during our celebrations.
The hotel is built on a hill which is fairly steep which can be difficult, but the hotel offers 24 hour transport to help you get around the hotel if needed. Being in the hills gives you amazing views of elounda. We were fortunate to see beautiful sunrises every morning from our apartment balacony and have stunning sea views.
The hotel is very clean and the cleaning staff work so hard thoroughly cleaning the pools every morning. Our rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed between daily or every other day.
The beach and town is a 20min walk away, there is a free shuttle bus but the walk was lovely. Its a lovely walk around the town & marina to get to a sandy beach with a park and lots of shops & restaurants.
We found there to be a good selection of food at all meal times and we all and the children always enjoyed what we ate. The waiting staff always ensured the tables were cleaned and ready.
We asked to get a table all sat together at the restaurant for one of the birthdays and asked if we could pay for a cake. The restaurant manger ensured this happened and helped make the birthday so special.
I can’t thank the staff enough for all they did and we had the best time because of them.

Exceptional Service & Family Fun – A great All-Inclusive Stay
Elounda Residence Waterpark turned me into an all-inclusive convert. Before arrival, manager Pavlos assured us my mobility issues and my son’s dietary needs would be accommodated—and they were. A golf cart was always available, and staff prepared plain pasta for my son twice daily for two weeks.
We arrived late and were warmly welcomed by Theo. Our hilltop apartment came with buggy service throughout our stay. The reception team was friendly and multilingual—Kristina speaks six languages!
Any issues were resolved quickly. Pavlos personally handled room and internet problems, even offering complimentary spa treatments. Nikos stepped in when needed, speaking flawless German.
The Ariadne restaurant served fresh, varied meals—Greek gyros, ossobuco, Asian dishes—and the staff were happy to accommodate special requests. Our daughter enjoyed kid-friendly options like nuggets and spaghetti.
The resort offers stunning views, saltwater pools, and daily activities like kids club, archery, and mini-disco. Elounda town is nearby, and we enjoyed trips to Spinalonga, Agios Nikolaos, Knossos Palace, and the Libyan Sea.
Yes, some rooms could use updating, and some activities catered to French guests—but we always felt welcome. Staff spoke multiple languages and were responsive and kind.
Having stayed in 4- and 5-star hotels worldwide, I’ve learned it’s the people who make the difference. Elounda Residence Waterpark excels. Thank you, Pavlos and team!
