We stayed for 12 days and had a truly delightful experience. Special commendation to the hotel management for their towel policy concerning sunbeds and pool loungers. While we have encountered similar policies in other hotels, this is the only one where the policy is actively and consistently enforced. Applause to the staff members who diligently remove unattended towels—this stands out as one of the most effective and guest-considerate practices we’ve seen, and we sincerely hope it continues.
The food was excellent overall. The buffet offered a wide variety of well-prepared, flavorful dishes, impressively executed given the scale of service. The Greek restaurant was particularly enjoyable, while the Italian restaurant fell slightly short of expectations in terms of ambiance and culinary standard.
Above all, the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, contributing greatly to the warmth and comfort of our stay.

We went for a week family holiday, Australia and UK. Overall very good. Refurbished 2 years ago to very high standard, although some traces of the old fit out. Reception staff excellent, bar staff and restaurant staff good but not great. Rooms excellent although both of our showers leaked. Food is a standout, at the main dinning area and the specialist - Italian, Greek, Wine bar. Food a the star of the resort. Inclusive wine is dreadful, beers cocktails only passable. Needs a deluxe wine package. We ended up going to Patty's beach bar next door most days for "real" beers and cocktails. The best hotel by far along the strip. Recommend for all inclusive up market holiday.

Well deserved five star experience. Happy with the choice and overall quality of the stay in the Electra hotel. Seafront with a lovely, rocky beach - nice spot to watch sunsets too. Very good facilities and delicious food all day round. Staff always happy to help. We enjoyed our family vacation here.

We stayed in the Electra Palace at the end of June 2025 for 7 nights in an upgraded garden suite. Here are the highlights, tips, and some potential improvements.
Overall - 4.5 / 5
For us, this wasn’t a true 5* hotel. It comes down to the small details, like plastic glassware, cocktails made with unbranded alcohol, a strawberry daiquiri - which turned out to just be a strawberry slush with cheap liquor poured into it. I think with some tweaks, it would really make an improvement.
Hotel - 4 / 5
Nice ambiance, freshly renovated and very clean. The grounds are well kept, and there is a great feeling around the place. Plenty of sunbeds and loungers to choose from with no morning rush.
Aircraft fly closely over the hotel, which can be noisy. I didn’t mind it, but it’s certainly something you notice.
The private beach is also great, and is a great place to watch the sunset.
Food - 4 / 5
Food options were okay. Again, nothing special, the variety is good but we did get bored after a week. There are multiple restaurants to try, and the opportunity to eat traditional Greek food too. Again, perfectly fine, but nothing to rave about.
Entertainment - 4 / 5
Good rota, with different performances every night. Generally well attended, catering for all ages. There is a schedule available on the website.
Location - 4 / 5
The resort is tucked away from the main road. There is a small shop, external restaurant, and a car rental company over the road, but expect to walk at least 10 minutes to find anything else. The hotel runs a paid-for shuttle to Rhodes Old Town too.
Staff - 5 / 5
Not much else to say apart from the fact that everyone was very polite and helpful. Amazing staff.
Rooms - 4 / 5
Cleaned every day, and the housekeeping staff were lovely. We paid for a garden room, which was okay. The grass was dead, and some of the adjacent rooms were overgrown, but still nice. Just not like the pictures. Drinks fridge wasn’t restocked once at any point during our stay.
Tips -
- Use the QR code next to sunbed to order drinks to your bed. We didn’t realise this till the end of our stay!
- You get one free use of each restaurant for dinner. Book them on night one, as they can fill up quickly
- You get unlimited use of the Italian for lunch - food there is made to order and generally better.
- Rent a car if you can. Great way to see the island, and taxis are expensive compared to other destinations.

Electra palace hotel-highly recommend!
This is my second visit to the Electra Palace Hotel in Rhodes.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional, the staff are absolutely lovely and so respectful, rooms are immaculate and modern.
The à la carte dining options were absolutely fantastic, offering a wide selection of delicious dishes to suit every taste. The desserts in particular were beautifully presented and tasted just as good as they looked.
We especially loved the Italian restaurant, which served up the best pizza and pasta also the Greek tray restaurant was equally impressive, offering authentic flavours in a lovely setting.
The hotel also boasts a beautiful spa and a well-equipped gym, perfect for relaxing or staying active while on holiday.
A special mention has to go to Tim, who was incredibly reassuring and attentive throughout our stay. He made sure everything was perfect and always checked in to ensure we were having the best possible experience.
All in all, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, and we can’t wait to return!
