This was truly one of the most enjoyable stays I’ve ever experienced. The hotel boasts a beautiful ambiance, with expansive landscaped areas and multiple pool options that add to the charm. The food was excellent, complemented by warm and attentive service — they even prepared special dishes just for us, which made the experience even more memorable. The morning activities were lively and engaging, perfect for starting the day with positive energy, while the night shows were entertaining and well-organized, creating a fun atmosphere for guests of all ages. Overall, the service was outstanding. A special thanks to the amazing animation team, especially Ahmad, Sultan, and Mada, for adding so much energy and fun to our stay.

I just returned from my stay at DoubleTree and overall, I’m satisfied, though there are a few things worth mentioning. I stayed in the new section of the hotel, where the rooms have just been renovated. Some rooms nearby were still being worked on, and while the noise was occasionally noticeable, it wasn’t particularly bothersome.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. As guests in the new part of the hotel, we also had access to the older section, but we didn’t use it much since not much was happening there during our stay.
The beach was average, but personally, that wasn’t a priority for me. A big advantage was the shuttle bus, which ran every 15 minutes and transported guests throughout the hotel grounds. The new section was much quieter and more private, which I appreciated.
As for the food, it wasn’t bad – pretty standard for this country. I’ve stayed at hotels where the food was much worse. I dined twice at the Gala restaurant by the beach, where the food was of a much higher standard – definitely a big plus for the hotel.
There’s also a promenade next to the hotel with shops where you can find everything you might need: a pharmacy, perfumes, souvenirs, etc. The hotel is also very close to the airport.
The gym was really nice – air-conditioned, small, but had everything you need.
Overall, I’m giving 5 stars because I got a great deal on the price. If I had paid the average rate for this standard, I would have rated it 4.

I am currently and have been for the past week at doubletree in Sharm El Sheikh and this has been my experience I'd like to share.
On arrival we didn't receive our warm cookie.
The following day when I had mentioned it to staff, returning back to our room was 4x warm cookies which made us both smile and laugh as they'd gone out of there way to rectify it.
Since then we've had cookies most day when returning to our room.
The hotel guest experience supervisor Ahmed Mahgoub has been brilliant, he's gone above and beyond to make our holiday experience a brilliant one.
He even moved us to a closer room due to the long walk for food each day.
This is due to the pool being so big 😆
Which is no complaint. There's plenty of sunbeds and we have no trouble getting the ones right outside of our room.
We found the food over the doubletree sister hotel to be really enjoyable and we were waited on by Mohamed Ismail who was brilliant. Always happy to see us and would get drinks as soon as yours is finished.
Today my partner went scuba diving from the hotel beach and he said it was the best dive he'd ever done, and the team that took him were very professional.
The private beach is a beautiful cove again enough sunbeds, and there's bar and towel collection point, and if you don't want the walk there is a bus that will take you the short drive.
The main square of you choose to leave the resort is not even a 10 min walk away, which is worth a walk down, this hotel has a great location, very close to the airport and all local amenities.
So overall I can only highly recommend this hotel, the staff are exceptional.
I would definitely come back.

Hotel is overall very nice pool area lovely. Deluxe side of the hotel is a much better standard the Bistro restaurant , Mohamed Ismail, was a very helpful, welcoming member of staff.
Rooms maybe a little updating in the main building. One thing I will say that let's the hotel down are the drinks.
Overall nice time.

An honest review of our holiday at Double Tree Hilton:-
We were two couples who had booked (independently) a seven night holiday.
At the time of booking we had chosen the option to upgrade our room which came at a modest additional cost, whereas the others had not.
We arrived at the hotel, which is a very quick and easy taxi transfer from the airport.
Upon arrival all of the staff were very welcoming and attentive and we were checked in and allocated our rooms very quickly.
We were kindly upgraded to a newly refurbished room with a sea view, however, the other couple were not.
It's worth noting, if you are planning to stay here that the hotel is split into two parts. The lower hotel (beach side), which is obviously near the sea and the upper hotel (mountain side) which is about ½ a mile from the sea. (shuttle bus available throughout the day)
The lower hotel is undergoing a full refurbishment and our room was amazing. This was in contrast with our friends room (upper hotel which was dated and tired)
We arrived just before the restaurant was about to close at 9pm, and told that we needed to rush down for food otherwise there would be nothing available until the following morning breakfast service.
In summary here are the positives and negatives of our experience of staying at this hotel.
Positives:
Lovely friendly staff who were very kind and helpful at all times.
Pool areas (both parts) are immaculately clean and well maintained and plenty of sun loungers.
Main restaurant in lower hotel had a nice calm atmosphere.
Our room was amazing with a fabulous view, very spacious, big comfy bed, two walk in shower rooms, two toilets and roll top bath and always kept thoroughly clean and tidy.
Not expensive for an all inclusive holiday.
Negatives:
Beach area is tiny and mainly set aside for sun loungers.
All evening entertainment, and bars are in the upper hotel dated and tired.
Drinks selection is very limited, and all inclusive service terminates at 11pm.
Food, whilst good, is unimaginative and repetitive and primarily just luke warm.
There is little alternative other than the buffet option. The Carla restaurant in the lower hotel is lovely but sadly always empty and lacking in any atmosphere.
El Rustica (Italian) upper hotel, is in a poor state of repair and for that reason we chose not to try it.
Rooms in the upper hotel are dated and tired and in need of a referb.
Animation staff are not very animated and the evening entertainment is pretty poor.
We had to complain on a couple of occasions about the Drum and Base music being played constantly and at an unbearable volume around the pool.
The Brits were definitely in the minority at this hotel which naturally then catered for the majority of guests, which were Russian families.
Be warned, Sharm El Sheikh airport on the return journey is a complete unorganised nightmare.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at this resort and it was really good value for the price we paid. We are glad that we had booked as two couples otherwise we feel that we would have felt somewhat isolated.
