We have just come back from a week at this resort and I can honestly say we had a blast. The friendliness of the staff was brilliant. And the care and attention to the fact that my daughter had dietary needs were next level, they catered for her every night cooking her fresh gluten free meals, and even providing her with gluten free cereal each morning. They definitely were accommodating to her needs.
The entertainment was good, especially from Ishmail, he was so friendly and really had time for the children. He was there most days and he was the one you saw interacting with the guests the most. You didn’t see much of the other animation team members. He had a laugh with you and made you feel at home. He’s a lovely guy! The hotel was what you paid for, rooms were alright, bed was comfy. We had a problem with our shower the first day but we reported it and they came and sorted it straight away. All in all, we had a fab holiday!!

We’ve just returned from a week stay here and cannot recommend it enough. We had our reservations when booking due to some of the negative reviews, but were pleasantly surprised by how good the hotel was.
The staff are the main asset for this place; every single staff member from reception, to bar staff, chefs, and housekeeping were so polite and nothing felt like a chore when asked.
Originally we booked the all inclusive package for the drinks as it was a great price, but the food ended up being amazing (breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner) and we struggled to convince the kids to go out for meals. Each night is a different cuisine/theme such as Mexican, kebabs, and Thai. Some of the food is actually cooked on the grill at the front of the restaurant.
The overall cleanliness of the whole hotel is second to none and the housekeeping staff literally redress the room every day as if you were arriving for your first day.
We want to give a special shoutout to Ruben and Alba - they are what I’d refer to as the onsite reps. They were both unbelievable with not only the children, but with running activities for all guests. This includes pistol and rifle air-soft shooting, archery, shuffle board, football, and water polo. If people didn’t want to do a certain activity, they didn’t just call it a day, they would suggest and try different things. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed taking care of the kids and always wanted to get them involved.
If you want to do your own thing, there’s still plenty to do. Football court, volleyball sandpit, playground, 2 large water slides which go into the deep end of the kids pool. 2 splash pools for infants, 2 larger pools (1 slightly shallower with a walk in slope, the other is pretty deep all around). 2 pool tables and an arcade (not great, but fun for the first hour on arrival). All of which is free for hotel guests.
There is also a spa onsite which is reasonably priced. My wife visited and said it was very nice, relaxing and professional.
Each night there is entertainment on site, which ranged from acrobatics to singers - all were fantastic. One night the entertainment was the Video 360 experience with Rami and that was also great fun.
If I could change one thing about the hotel it would be heated pools. They are pretty cold (we went in May), even after you’ve braved it, but as usual once you’re in you forget about it.
Thanks again to all the staff and we are planning on returning in the near future.

This is a really nice hotel and dont let the bad reviews put you off. Some people expect a 5 star hotel for the price you pay and its not the case. It is great value for this hotel.
The location is on the outskirts of corralejo but is is close to the sand dunes and a short walk to the beach. The town is a 20/30 minute walk so not the closest but you can also get a cab for €5. The rooms are actually bigger than I was expecting so very pleased. Yes they are dated and not perfect as in the decor or grouting in the bathrooms but get a grip people, they are very clean and the cleaners come round every other day. The room also had a fridge so great little extra.
You do have to pay a deposit of €20 to get a towel to put on your sun bed but you get that back at the end so no one looses out. No hotels let you use the room bath towels round the pool, so either bring your own or borrow theirs. Oh and the pool is cold!! Not heated!! You are in one of the colder canarie islands and all the hotels are all the same so its not a conspiracy!! We went all inclusive and wasnt disappointed at all.
Food was always hot and staff friendly. We left just as the kids broke up from school so the last day was very busy and there was people waiting for tables in the restaurant so glad we left lol.
The staff during our time at blue sea were great. They spoke very good english and very happy to help.
The entertainment was hit and miss. We watched an African lady sing and she was amazing but we also watched 3 young men sing and I use the term sing loosely. But it is still nice to sit and chill out.
There is usually only one bar open at a time and it does get busy of an evening. They are also happy to give huge shots of alcohol! Tho they only give one choice of cocktail a day so that is the only thing I would change.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and definitely recommend it.

The location is good - not far from the local beaches, the Corralejo dunes, and the centre of Corralejo. It is easy to reach from the airport using the local bus: first to Puerto del Rosario and then to Corralejo. The transfer is simple but can be quite busy. For us it cost about €10 in total for two adults, which is very affordable.
Rooms and accommodation
The rooms were clean and, although they are not the newest, it is clear that good-quality investment were done a few years ago. The materials and finishes do not feel cheap, and the earlier investment in quality is still paying off today, as the rooms remain comfortable and well maintained.
Most of the rooms have a view of the main pool or the children’s pool. There are also the “green house” style rooms located near the smaller pool. The top-floor rooms in that area can be a very good option.
Food and service
The food was good and there were always several options available, so everyone could find something they liked.
The waiters cleaned the tables very quickly and always asked first if we had finished.
The bartenders were also very generous with drinks. When you asked for a double, you received it without any issue, and it never felt like they were trying to save money on the alcohol.
Facilities and activities
A big plus was the very well-equipped local store in the hotel. The prices were fair and it had almost everything you could imagine needing during your stay.
I also liked that the safe deposit box was free of charge, with only a refundable deposit required.
There is also:
- a small gym, which is simple but enough for a workout
- a laundry area
- some activities organised during the day
- an area for kids with arcade machines and a claw machine where you can pick up toys and kids club
- a sports field and a sand volleyball area
- a snack bar, although the snacks there are quite basic
The pool area was very well maintained. There were lifeguards present at each pool all the time. The hotel area was cleaned every day, including the pools. The lifeguards even picked up small pieces of rubbish from the floor and realigned the sunbeds whenever someone left the pool area, which helped keep everything tidy.
Disappointments
One thing we did not like was that the SPA was closed. We were initially told that it was due to staff sickness, but later we learned that the company operating the SPA had resigned two months earlier. As we were travelling in February, the SPA facilities were quite important for us because they would have been a good option during windy or colder weather. We expected to use them, so it was disappointing that they were unavailable.
Another issue was small birds entering the dining area and eating food directly from the buffet trays where guests were taking food from. This happened quite often and appeared to be a common situation, yet no one seemed to address it. This should be taken seriously, as it represents a significant health and safety concern.
Entertainment and sunbeds
The evening entertainment was very basic, which is one area where the hotel could improve. One of the issues is the very small stage, which limits the number of entertainment options that can realistically be organised.
There was also a problem with sunbed reservations. Many sunbeds were reserved early in the morning and then left unused for most of the day. As a result, some of the best sunbeds located in the sunny areas were not available to take, even though they were not actually being used.
Overall impression
Overall, depending on where your room is located, the hotel can be a good place to stay. However, people who travel often and expect higher standards from hotels might be a bit disappointed.
It is important to remember that this is a 3-star hotel, not a 4- or 5-star resort. For its category, it maintains a good standard and offers the facilities and service you would expect from a solid 3-star hotel. Because the complex is quite large, you can usually find a quiet place for yourself somewhere in the hotel.
