Amazing hotel, staff was always happy and said hello with a smile, amazing and attentive to guests, our rooms was upgraded from two rooms, in an annex to a family room in the main hotel. Beautiful sight on the see and pool area. Thank you very much from the moment we walked in to the hotel the staff were amazing. This hotel will be highly recommend by the four of us.

Beautiful modern hotel. The hotel rooms are basic, but clean. They have a mini fridge in with bottles of water, a hair dryer, shower etc. I personally don’t believe you need anything else, as you go on holiday you don’t go to stay in the room.
The location is each to their own, we didn’t mind it. There’s a beach down the slope of the hotel, there’s restaurants there, very cheap and very friendly with beautiful food. A few shops, and water sports. Cannot complain.
The food in the hotel is very nice, they do change it everyday, there’s always pasta on everyday, for fussy eaters. But they do gyros wraps, pastas, loads of veg, salads, different types of meat. Honestly something for everyone. Cannot complain.
The only down side is that on the all inclusive they only serve raki and ouzo which by end of the stay we quite enjoyed but at the start it was a hard drink.
Overall lovely stay.

We recently stayed at Blue Bay Resort in Crete and overall, it met most of our expectations. We really enjoyed our time there and would happily recommend it, with a couple of caveats.
The location is peaceful and scenic, but it is quite isolated. Without a rental car, getting around the island would have been a challenge, so definitely plan for that. Also, the food at the hotel restaurants was a bit hit or miss, some days we enjoyed lovely traditional hot dishes, and other times the food was only lukewarm and less impressive.
That said, our room was spacious and comfortable, with a pool just steps away that was rarely used by others, felt like our own private retreat. One of the highlights was how close we were to Sunset Cliff, only a 15-minute walk away. It's a perfect spot for a short hike and to take in the beautiful views.
The staff were a real standout, super friendly and always helpful, they really contributed to making our stay enjoyable.

From the moment we arrived at Blue Bay, we felt truly welcomed. Although the official check-in time is from 3:00 PM, the reception kindly accommodated us earlier as soon as a room became available — a gesture that set the tone for the incredible hospitality we experienced throughout our stay.
Check-out is at 11:00 AM, but to our pleasant surprise, the hotel still provided us with complimentary lunch and dinner vouchers, even after we had checked out. This level of care and generosity genuinely touched us.
We had initially hesitated about booking the all-inclusive package, but not for a second did we regret it! The food was absolutely delicious, with an impressive variety at every meal — from fresh salads and Mediterranean dishes to international favorites and local specialties. Every bite felt like it was made with love.
What truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, smiling, and eager to help. Their kindness and attentiveness created an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation — we didn't see a single staff member without a smile the entire week!
We would also love to send special thanks to the lovely ladies who greet you at the entrance to the restaurant — always so sweet, radiant, and kind. One of them even said we looked like "fairy tale girls", and it truly made our day. Those small, sincere words stayed with us and added even more magic to our experience. Thank you for making us feel so special!
Blue Bay attracts guests from all over the world, and the vibe among visitors was just as uplifting — friendly, laid-back, and joyful. It felt like everyone was there to truly unwind, and that easygoing energy was contagious.
The hotel’s location is ideal — not far from the charming village of Agia Pelagia, and within walking distance to three different beaches. Yes, you’ll need to stretch your legs a bit, but if you’re like us and love exploring, even an hour-long hike turns into a scenic adventure. The views are simply breathtaking — from the deep blue sea to golden sunsets and picturesque hillsides, every direction looked like a postcard.
We are so incredibly grateful for the unforgettable experience and the genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

It's a nice place.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Food isn't 5 Star cuisine but is still very eatable, I have no complaints.
Rooms are pretty basic but modern and cleaned regularly.
The location is a bit remote if you enjoy night life, but suited our family.
They do a free shuttle to the nearest beach but it's not the best, I would reccomend Agia Palagia beach about 20 mins walk. Pleanty of good restaurants and beach shops, sunbeds for hire 10€ for two. You can easily walk back uphill, but a taxi is 10€.
The evening entertainment is if a high standard.
There are a lot of steps as the hotel set into a hillside, and a few annexes set away from the main hotel.
In conclusion I would reccomend this hotel for a quiet family holiday.
