The room facilities are great, the comfiest beds and pillows plenty of room for the family, rooms are cleaned and bed changed everyday. Mini bar stocked up every morning. The hotel itself is beautiful, and exceptionally clean. The wet and wild water park is excellent for the kids and the food in the snack bar is lovely. Excellent value for money in my opinion and would definitely stay again. Guest services were helpful.

I recently stayed at Aska Lara Resort & Spa and wanted to share a review based on our experience.
The rooms are definitely on the older side in terms of style, and unfortunately, the bed was quite uncomfortable. However, the overall hygiene was excellent. Housekeeping did a spotless job every day, and the cleanliness of the entire room and facilities really stood out. We stayed in room 1441.
The water park is a major highlight of the hotel – well-maintained, fun, and a great feature especially for families.
The food quality was generally very good. Each day, meals were presented like you’d expect at a gourmet restaurant, with a wide variety of choices and excellent flavors. However, it’s worth noting that almost none of the food is kid-friendly. If you have a picky eater or a child with allergies, the options are very limited.
All baked goods contain dairy and egg, and even for coffee, there’s no plant-based milk alternative by default. If you or your child have allergies, the hotel can provide plant-based baked food, but you need to request it in advance by filling out a form at Guest Services, and wait for it to be prepared. While this is helpful, it would be much more appropriate for a hotel of this standard to proactively offer allergy-friendly options – including baked breakfast items, ice cream, and milk alternatives for coffee – without requiring special arrangements.
The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout the resort, their professionalism and positive attitude made a big difference in our overall experience.
Overall:
While the hotel has some strong points like cleanliness, a great water park, and high-quality meals, it falls short in terms of comfort and inclusivity for dietary restrictions. Families with allergic children or those following plant-based diets should be prepared to plan ahead. With some improvements, Aska Lara could offer a more inclusive and comfortable experience for all guests.

Rating: ★★★★☆ (3.5 out of 5 stars)
I’m currently staying at Aska Lara and, based on my experience, I’d rate it around 3.5 stars. I travel to Turkey every year and have stayed in many 5-star hotels, so I do have a fair point of comparison.
The hotel is clean, the staff are polite, and the facilities are generally well-maintained. However, the food has been underwhelming — not much variety and repetitive throughout the stay. Compared to other 5-star resorts I’ve visited in Turkey, it definitely falls short in the culinary department.
One thing to keep in mind is that the beach is not directly accessible — you have to take a shuttle, which is often busy. If you’re travelling with a pram like I am, it can be quite difficult to manage.
Overall, it’s a decent resort, but I wouldn’t call it a full 5-star experience. For the price, I believe there are better options in Turkey that offer more value.

Overall a lovely stay. Facilities were all clean and well maintained. View from the room balcony is great. Staff were all really friendly. For me I am a fussy eater and for the week I stayed I had all inclusive but a lot of the food was more like posh style food where it’s a small portion. For me I don’t want that, I prefer big sized portions but some people would prefer the posh small sized portions. I still found some food each day that I enjoyed. Desserts weren’t great. My main complaint would be the wait times to get served at any of the bars and also the starbucks. Clearly not enough staff at the bars and starbucks. A lot of the time the starbucks is a 20 minute queue. The area where they show live football is also away from the bar which was also annoying. Overall it’s a lovely hotel, they treat cats really well and the staff are very nice. It is very clean and you feel safe. Lots to do around the hotel as well. Just the wait times are long at the bars and Starbucks.

Our stay at the Aska Lara Hotel was made unforgettable by the wonderful restaurant team. From the first moment, we were welcomed by warm, attentive staff who made every meal a joy.
We also loved the hotel’s bar—cozy, with delicious cocktails and friendly bartenders who remembered our favorite drinks. Their smiles and genuine hospitality made it the perfect place to relax.
The service was flawless—dishes were cleared promptly, special requests handled with care, and every interaction felt personal. The food was equally impressive, offering a delightful mix of local and international flavors.
The restaurant team truly set a gold standard for hospitality, making our stay even more special with their kindness and professionalism.
I want to leave a thank you note to the staff: BEKIRBEY RESTAURANT MUDUR, YUNUSBEY, KODIROV YODGORJON.
