Our stay at Lujo Bodrum was unfortunately stressful, mainly due to the fact that the food for children was unappetizing and unsuitable. We were there with friends who had similar impressions, and we also spoke with other guests who noticed the same lack of care for the needs of the youngest visitors. The hotel should focus more on providing healthy, fresh, and tasty food for children – this is essential for their health and comfort.
Another significant issue is the Kids’ Club. It should not only be a space where children spend time but also a place filled with warmth, care, and engagement. Unfortunately, the caregivers were not very friendly and did not show much interest in the children. Our child was only two years old. There needs to be more smiles, heart, and genuine care for the youngest guests.
In such a luxurious hotel, not only adults should feel comfortable, but most importantly, children. They are the priority, as their well-being directly affects the overall experience of families staying there. This aspect definitely needs reconsideration and improvement. If the hotel puts more effort into caring for its youngest guests, it can truly become an exceptional place for families.

Beautiful Place, but Children's Safety and Food Freshness Need Improvement
We stayed at Luju Bodrum in the fall, and overall, our stay was pleasant. The hotel is beautifully located, luxurious, and the staff is friendly. However, unfortunately, the Kid’s Club did not meet our expectations. It was not clean enough, and the caregivers seemed inexperienced and not very engaged. Children did not feel safe there, which should never be the case in a high-class hotel.
There is a definite need for better supervision of children and stricter hygiene and care standards. The quality of food for the youngest guests should also be improved – it should be fresh, healthy, and tailored to their needs. Another important aspect is warm water in the children’s pools, so they can play comfortably.
Another issue was the desserts – unfortunately, they were not always fresh, which is absolutely unacceptable. It would be better to prepare fewer desserts but ensure they are fresh and delicious every day. Several times, we had to return a dessert because it was stale. The staff member apologized and provided a fresh one, but in a hotel of this standard, such situations should not happen at all. There should never be desserts that are several days old. This is a place where not only adults but also small children and people with different health conditions eat. Freshness must be a priority.
The hotel has enormous potential, but it needs to focus more on the comfort and safety of its youngest guests, as well as the quality of the food served. If these issues are addressed, this place could truly be exceptional.

Well, it's really hard to compare this stay to my many other stays in Turkey with All Inclusive options. Lujo was supposed to be Ultra All Inclusive — for us, it felt more like a basic All Inclusive at best.
Restaurants were closed — I don’t understand how an Ultra All Inclusive resort can have only two restaurants open, Koza and Sorriso, for all guests. Gaia was open and then closed on the same day. We understand that it was raining, but come on — the staff could have moved to another outlet and cooked in a different kitchen.
Waiters never knew what was going on and kept mixing up orders.
Breakfast: the waiting time to be seated was short, but once we sat down, we had to wait 30 minutes for a waiter, then another 30 minutes for the food. When it finally arrived, the order was incorrect, and we had to wait another 20 minutes.
Koza restaurant was so cold we had to ask for blankets — we never got them, so we had to go back to the room to get sweaters. We asked several waiters and managers on duty — it was terrible.
Late evening reservations: for example, we had a reservation at Sorriso for 19:30. We arrived at 19:31 and still had to wait another 50 minutes to be seated because the restaurant didn’t anticipate so many guests.
Room: housekeeping only came after we asked the Joy Advisor to help us and send someone. Otherwise, no one bothered to clean the room, even though we always had the green light on for housekeeping. We even had ants walking around the room and on the couch.
The pool was supposed to be heated — and it was, for two days — then it stopped.
After that, we started having electrical problems in the room — the power kept going on and off like crazy.
And finally — check-out. Why was the staff so unreasonable? We requested a bellboy at 14:00, but he only arrived at 14:47, even though our airport transfer was scheduled for 14:30.

Aside from a few people, the staff was quite rude, and not very approachable, it seemed difficult for most people to smile, and some chose not to help, buggies would drive right past us, some waiters/waitresses were not approachable and lacked basic manners. I travel alot and have been to various different countries, it's disgusting that a luxurious place such as yourselves cannot get basic hospitality treatment correct. If you are painting yourselves as a high standard establishment then please ensure you provide us with staff that are friendly and approachable.
I think it's important you understand there are various different people that will come to Lujo, for example, some people who drink, some who don't drink, some who are more religious than others, I struggled to find a prayer room to pray in. Please just understand all your visitors are not the same.
Thirdly, as part of the tourism industry, I would have expected more members of your staff to speak English, especially given the industry you are in and English being a Universal language. It was very difficult to communicate with some people.
Finally, I booked a city tour, and called the tour guide in the hotel. He advised me he's not allowed in there and he was receiving really strange looks especially from the reception staff, I'm not sure why? I think it was really rude for the the rep to be treated as such. If you don't want tourism reps to be in the hotel, you need to make sure you are letting your customers know.
I wanted to give this feedback, because it's important you know that having spoken to a few other guests during my stay, they also highlighted the particular issue regarding members of staff being quote snooty and unhelpful.
Otherwise my stay was ok, but a holiday is as good as the people around you make it and unfortunately aside from a few very helpful people such as yourself, not many people were as helpful.

The best hotel I have stayed in turkey and in Europe. Very clean and excellent customer service with great staff. The views are amazing and the restaurants and the bars are so nice. The alcohol beverages were really good with great varieties. The food was clean and healthy. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes peace and tranquility. Bodrum is one of the best place in Turkey for relaxing holiday.
