We booked a last-minute stay at Wind of Lara and arrived late in the evening. Rose, the Guest Relations Manager, greeted us with a warm welcome—she was so kind and professional.
We stayed for five nights and had a great experience overall. The hotel was spotless, the food was delicious, and every staff member we interacted with was courteous and friendly.
If you’re after a reasonably priced getaway along the Lara strip, this place is definitely worth considering!

The taste of the hot food at the late-night buffet was actually quite good, but unfortunately, it was barely warm.
My room was ok cleaned, but my bathroom was not, hairs in the Toilet, water and shampoo traces everywhere are enough evidence that there was not much time spend in cleaning!
However, the service at the reception was poor. The staff member was chatting with some other guests while we had to wait. A simple “I’ll be with you shortly” would have been enough, but instead, he continued his small talk and left us waiting for several minutes. Not a big deal once, but it happened three times in a row, which made us feel unwelcome.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt a bit uncomfortable, especially in the dining area. High ceilings and a lack of soundproofing made it very noisy—not really a place to enjoy what was otherwise good food.
The fridge in my room wasn’t working, though the mattress was actually quite comfortable.
The tea was over-brewed—something I’ve never experienced in Turkey, where tea is usually a highlight.
There was also no sparkling water available in the dining area, which I’ve never seen in any other hotel here.
Lastly, the room doors were poorly insulated, so noise from the hallway was noticeable.
Conclusion: No major issues, but lots of small things that added up.

Food was good and there was a large choice at meal times and the snack bar was fantastic during the day.
Pool area and entertainment was very good, friendly staff with a mix of chilled, modern and retro music. Bar staff serving drinks to you as you lie in the sun, couldn’t ask for much more.
The entertainment at nights was also very good and there was something different on every night.
All in all good value for money and will happily visit again.

We stayed at Wind of Lara for a last-minute holiday and arrived late in the evening. We were warmly welcomed by Rose, the Guest Relations Manager, who was absolutely lovely and polite.
Our stay was for five days. The hotel was clean, the food was very nice, and the staff were consistently polite and helpful.
If you’re looking for a well-priced, quick getaway on the Lara strip, I would highly recommend this hotel.

4 star hotel rooms, 2 star service.
Pros:
Rooms and hotel looks very modern and updated.
Restaurant by the beach was nice.
Pool was great size and of good variety.
Snack bar food was good.
Turkish rice pudding was outstanding.
Osman from the evening dinner staff was superb, really nice man, great service from him.
Uncle from the games room was also very nice.
Night entertainment was good.
Live pasta station at dinner was great, although chef had poor attitude.
Cons:
Russian music pretty much 90% of the time. Lack of variety. Loud music that reaches the 6th floor.
Really moody staff, didn't clean rooms when asked. When you call reception, they don't deliver on their words.
Bathrooms weren't clean at all. Needs an upgrade or deep clean.
Food at lunch and dinner were very boring and didn't change often.
Pool temperature was very cold.
Aqua park opening times were odd.
