I booked with JET2, usually if you book with jet2 they ensure you have the room you booked. But my room was not deluxe it was dated and had so many issues. It was one of the older rooms.
Firstly no towels on arrival at 2am, not one. Had to request them the next day.
Toilet seat broken and the maids well aware as they had to clean the toilet (well they never wiped it over once in 10 days) . It remained broken throughout, even tho they’d put a bath mat on it.
Toilet brush broken
Tv broken.
You can hear everything from the next room!
Sink drainage. Sink doesn’t drain even with plug off and fills to the top when washing face.
Shower control broken and has been for months by the looks of the build up off limescale if would fall off during my shower and hurt my foot.
Apparently the rooms are cleaned daily, in the 10 days I was there my balcony was still full of sand and dirt, ash and seeds.
My cleaner didn’t clean my room ONCE. She just emptied the bins, made the bed, once I even had bedding with rips in it.
Beds are made and your lucky if they change the towels and empty the bins, but they DO NOT clean! Provided with one towel which was an inconvenience being a female with hair.
You can hear everything , the neighbours showering, the pool being cleaned, chatting etc.
There is ONE hanger…
Why are certain guests looked after more than others?
After a hard year I decided to pick my battles and I was only there for sleeping and showering and I was going to enjoy my holiday.
The only good thing about the hotel is the location and how close it is to the strip, beach and bus route. Otherwise it needs vast improvement.
The cleaners of block 4 need to be spoken to as it’s not good enough!

Avoid this hotel! They will charge you for housekeeping. Our holiday was completely ruined by this hotel. I left a small, easily washable make up mark on a bedsheet. This would have come out in the wash straight away. The hotel tried to charge us £40!!! For this stain. Which is absolutely ridiculous. There’s no way it costs £40 to clean one sheet. I offered to pay a small amount toward it but £40 is unacceptable. I also asked for proof that it would cost £40 to clean but they couldn’t provide it… We tried to reason with the manager but they would not allow us to pay less then said we needed to go to their other hotel to discuss it. We’re on holiday so there’s no way we were going to go all the way over there. We’re supposed to be relaxing. We also had RIPPED bedsheets which we let the manager know about only for him to accuse us of ripping them? We took photos to show him & he accused us of the rip. Why would I rip a sheet, take a photo then show the manager?! It seems to us they will try absolutely ANYTHING to get money out of you. We tried to complain but we were ignored. To make matters worse the room was actually very unclean & we had to ask for it to be cleaned again. Black mould was all over the shower head & limescale too. The whole holiday I felt like I didn’t want to be there because I was so upset. I felt like I couldn’t use the towels or bedding out of fear for another £40 fee. In the long run this has cost the hotel more than this because we actively avoided eating, drinking & using their facilities. There were 3 of us & we’d of spent a lot more than £40 in drinks & food had this not happened. We will be escalating this to a formal complaint both to the hotel & EasyJet.

The staff are friendly and helpful, We were on our honeymoon, first room was ground floor at back of hotel, no view, air con couldn't be turned off(no remote), room seemed half decorated, pool wasn't cleaned during are stay, stones had been thrown in by kids at some point, there all week. Birds were drinking the water as well, which meant no Chlorine to stop stomach bugs or infection. The Second room we was put in was a lot better, it is in a good location, restaurant food was very good, and great restaurants around as well, 'josephs' and 'secret garden' were very nice.
I would visit again as it was really good value.
The main beach was short walk and well worth visiting, but the "lagoon" was definitely not worth visiting (cigarette ends and rubbish everywhere, and human excrement) where people didn't use bins or the toilets that you had to pay for.

First of all this is a 3star hotel and not a 5 star hotel.. It was a great little hotel great staff . Like all hotels it isn’t just catering for us Brits but all Nationalities difficult to say the least .. Great location.. older generation when we stayed suited us .. Thank you Montebello..

Stay at the Montebello between 6th to 13th July it was absolutely wonderful. We had a room on the top floor of block 1 part sea view and mountain views all around made lovely to wake up too. Rooms were cleaned well left plenty of towels and essential bathroom needs.
The usual sun bed war is crazy if you don't mind getting up at 0700 then it's fine. Does state not to put towel down until 0800 but alot of people ignore and do as they please. We usually stayed on the upper platform with a small pool lovely to put feet into to cool off.
Breakfast basic Turkish, beans not fully cooked. Pancakes lovely with the jam. Sadly as someone who likes coffee I had to stick to black coffee as they do not have alternative milk understandable.
Hotel close to everything for me a roughly 3min walk to beach. Main strip roughly a 6min walk away.
Hotel fairly pricey on drinks and food.
Dinner in restaurant is lovely well cooked balloon bread is lovely and the chilli dip is definitely my favourite.
Staff are absolutely friendly, very helpful. Staff in restaurant made the holiday for us Jonty & Salih & Ramos were absolutely lovely and so happy and smiley. It was my birthday on one of the days and we decided to stay at the restaurant for dinner I was so surprised as balloons and flowers had been put out on the table and cake had been given to me. I was honestly so surprised and felt so grateful!
Overall would definitely stay again! Lovely hotel and lovely vibe! Looking forward to my next visit!
