We have been here before and because we liked it so much we decided to return. That was a mistake. We arrived early in the morning at 4am. The room we were given smelt like a septic tank, it stank so much it was hard to breathe, Neither of us could sleep. The room was at the back of the hotel. The air conditioning was stuck on and rumbled loudly and couldn't be switched off. We got it sorted by putting batteries in the remote and switched it off. The hot water in the bathroom sink was a trickle and the patio not pleasant. Other noises with deep vibrations also were very bad. One socket to charge phones etc is not good enough.This room should not be given to any guests staying here, maybe for staff only. The room itself is ok and the bathroom too looks pleasant and fairly new although the shower is not great. If we don't get moved to a decent room we will be moving hotels after we get a refund. I am getting on a bit now and have stayed in many places and this is one of the worst rooms yet. The young male night receptionist was really good and did his best, he got and replaced the batteries. Let's see how more senior staff react later. Stay tuned.
So here it is. So far it's renewed my faith in the Montebello. Thank you reception. We have been assured of a room change when someone checks out later.
The hotel is lovely and the staff are nice also. We can relax for a bit now, now I know why we came back here. Haven't actually got our room yet but here hoping

Well... talk about going above and beyond. We now have a beautiful deluxe room(which actually we should have had in the first place).
The reception staff were brilliant, listened and delivered, now that's what I'd call great customer service. Well done Montebello Deluxe. Please guys if you have a complaint, the staff will do their very best to rectify and sort it. Always give them the chance to fix it before mouthing off. I have been very honest here and will now enjoy my holiday. I now know why I came back and will do so again. Rooms now 5*, service 5* and location is as usual 5*

3 more days left till we return home. Have had an amazing time here. The staff are wonderful, rooms spotless. Lovely pool area. Location is brilliant. Have been made to feel like part of a family here. Will be back next year without a doubt. To all the staff, thank you for an awesome holiday, our first time in Turkey. Very special memories made here. X

Close to the beach, few problems with getting towels changed , the good thing was to switch the sign from sleep to clean if you wanted it, I think a great idea. Pool medium size, got a jacuzzi decent size. We got on well with staff, not good for disability people as has no lifts . Overall would recommend.

This is a great small family hotel.
Room and breakfast. The breakfast is very nice but be ready for more turkish as well as Toast, egg, mushrooms beans etc all lovely
The rooms are very nice and comfortable with choice of using ceiling fan or air conditioning. Good access to beach bars and restaurants.
Easy travel with plenty of dolmuz buses and taxis.
The staff are great and rooms cleaned regularly you can always have a great day by the pool. The Montebello Restaurant is very good value and the food very good. Have stayed plenty of times before and will definitely stay again.
People are grabbing sunbeds early.... you know who you are ;)

Quite a reasonable hotel. Our room was in good condition and was cleaned regularly by friendly staff. I think it is correctly rated at 3 star. The pool bar snack menu is a little expensive, but average for Ölu deniz prices. The pool snack & drinks bar is open from early morning right through till late at night with reasonable prices. It's a perfectly good hotel in a very convenient location.
