Great place to stay helpful and friendly staff rooms are clean and compact the balcony is very small and you only get a view of the building next door but if like me your not staying in your room this wasn't an issue for us. The hotel is a fab location right on the beach and a beautiful walk in each direction will get you to shops and bars restaurants etc.
The hotel offers plenty of food options some of this is a little bland (it's cooking on mass which no one gets completely right) but you can find something for everyone as the variety is good the staff are very attentive and will go the extra mile to help with your stay.
The hotel is great the only issue is there isn't a entertainment space or program available with the exception of a singer on Tuesdays and during our stay we did encounter some heavy rain fall you only have the restaurant area to sit I can imagine this isn't great when full but otherwise the hotel is great they would benefit from hosting a quiz and maybe some more singers as long as your happy to sit in the restaurant area or round the pool weather permitting.
I'd happily stay again I would take some extra things for evening entertainment when not visiting the bars etc in the centre be prepared to pay high prices for drinks and food you can get the EFFS beer for around £2 bottle but everything else if very pricey food can also be high so be prepared if not eating in the hotel

First time booking an all inclusive ADULT only hotel. Booked this family holiday earlier due to husband working over the summer months.
Arrived at hotel 11pm at night. Reception staff were polite and checked us all in quickly. We had two rooms booked. Booked as a family room 1 husband & myself room 2 daughters. They gave us our room key (only 1 provided per room). They had separated us from each other. My husband and I were in one block and daughter’s in another. My youngest is special needs and depends on me to help her out with everything we all take for granted. Yes she was with her sister but refuses to let her help! We got escorted to our rooms by the porter staff. The Room was very small. There wasn’t enough storage space for all our clothes so had to improvise. Balcony was tiny, only big enough to fit two ppl 3 max. The view was fabulous. Bathroom was nice had a walk in shower, wet room and couldn’t complain about it being cold or lack of pressure. Only down side no fan for the steam. The bed was very comfortable and pillows too. Only hotel I’ve ever been to that gave you just a blanket that was so so rough it was like putting sand paper against your skin! What made it even worse was that it was only for a single bed and we had a double. Air con was ok very noisy when turned up on high speed, you couldn’t sleep with it on. First night we didn’t sleep a wink due to some noise coming from outside. We think it was the swimming pool filters.
Had breakfast very limited choices. I’m not fussy. It was the same thing every morning. Lunch wasn’t any better. Afternoon snacks were very limited and they always ran out of food. Yes it was replenished but took longer than expected. Ice cream was only given out between 3:10-4:10 like being at school. Evening meal was left overs from lunch with more meat or chicken choices added. I’ve been to quite a few all inclusive hotels and this hotel was disappointing especially for a 4 star hotel.
Sun beds - only enough for about 60-80 ppl around pool ( only estimated) due to the lack of space available. People started putting towels down as early as 6 in morning. Half of them wasn’t even used until after midday, I think this was so unfair for other people who couldn’t get a sun lounger. Private beach was the same, ppl laying towel and then not even bothering to come back! Definitely needs addressed.
Music was played during the day by a staff member. No entertainment on until a Tuesday night, only hotel I’ve ever been too never provided entertainment. To make it even worse, they closed the bar at 11pm. 11pm, it’s like being back at school and having to be in bed by 11pm.
The lifts were slow, especially for the amount of rooms. No air conditioning around hotel or if it did have any definitely wasn’t working properly. Same for dining room. Another sweat box.
Location was great, only down side you were right next to the pubs and the music can get loud. Not that it bothered us as it was the only entertainment we had.
Check out was simple. If your flight wasn’t until evening you could still use facilities. We went for a shower that was provided at Gym spa. One shower room. 3 of us trying to get a shower and get dressed in yet another sweat box ( no fans) and other customers waiting to get in, so you felt rushed.
Over all it’s a nice hotel, more rooms than outside space available. Food choices needs adding and bar needs to stay open longer than 11pm. Would I return or recommend staying… no there is far better hotels than this at 3 stars.

In 5 decades of my travels POSEIDON HOTEL in Marmaris in Turkey is the WORST HOTEL I have ever stayed in!!
The boulders on the road and barricades do not allow your suitcases to be brought straight to hotel.
You have to wheel your suitcases through the narrow concrete boulders and then walk 200 yds to the hotel.
The little sandy beach does not have separate smokers on one side of beach beds and non smokers on the other side.
During the duration of my vacation I sat on the sunbed for only 30minutes because ALL AROUND I was surrounded by heavy smokers.
I could not enjoy the sea air..but just smell the stinky air full of Nicotaine.
The same was by pool side
And
Same in the foyer leading to dinning area.
Smokers and vapers are so rude not to ask your permission if they can smoke near you!!
And
If it was not smoking it was the vomiting smell of weed!!
I insisted the management separate smokers and non smokers space and shockingly it is something they have never looked into.
But
Will they look into this problem in the near future.. I wonder!
Some of waiters were so rude addresses you.. "heh Lady"
Instead of "excuse me Madam"
I complained to head of dining room..but there was no change in their tone of addressing a female guest.
Hardly any fresh fruit!!
There was only hard green apples and silces of oranges and only tinned fruit!!
Only 2 days i noticed there was Water Melon in the evening..but seriously eating water melon with cooked fruit causes build of lot of smelly wind and causes bloatedness.
You must not eat melon with melon
Melon must be eaten on empty stomach only in the morning!
OVER SALTED FOOD AND RATHER BURNT BAR B QUED FOOD.
The fish was always over cooked on fire left shrivelled and dry!!
And
The kebabs were burnt!!
The Salmon was FULL OF BONES was impossible to eat.
And the other dishes had too much oil floating on the top.
I spoke to head Chef who had a waist of 16 inches..about reducing salt...and
Three times he repeated Sallllt, sallllt what sallllt ..I gave up!!
Even the rice was salted
The
Plain yogurt was salted.
Too much oil was in stir fried vegetables and floating oil in curries...
I used to detox with 1/2 glass of near fresh lemon juice x 2 a day.
The range of OILVES brand and Quality was so cheap and they were raw...I complained but they could not care.
The toasting machine took forever to make a toastie.
SAFETY BOX IN ROOM!!
You have to pay money to use safety box in your room!!! What the hell the 1st time I have heard ever.
YOUR SECURITY AT RISK!!
11 excursions companies plaque the foyer tempting you to buy their excursion trips.
I only one I wanted to go to was PAMKUKALE COTTON CASTLE.
I guide was rudest guide I ever encountered.. I did put her in her place!! That we are tourist here and to face her rudeness asking and prompting us to hurry up!
After Cotton Castle which only had 5 inches water which was very disappointing
And
ROBBERY from the Company there asking for additional gate entrance fees of £26!!! For what?? There is no maintenance they have done on the ruggedness of the walk up to the top..
Only 2 security guards at the barriers taking £26??? That's a rip off.
THE MOST STINKY TOILETS OF 21ST CENTURY.
We were taken to Oynx stone shop.. after a 5 minute talk show we were guides to shop heavily stocked with different items made from onyx stone...with 18 large Turkish Women standing in the Isles.
The MOST GROSSE SMELLY FEMALE TOILETS EVER!!
The 4 toilets were non functional, broken flushes, no toilet paper, little dripping water in wash hand baking basin and NO soap.
Surely a place visited by so many tourists should be kept clean especially the toilets !! Putting 2 of 18 women on rota to clean toilets is not a big ask.
Fortunately I always carry my own toiletries and bacterial wipes.
When I told the guide she should not bring tourists to such a unhygienic place..she said what should I do in a loud voice !!
And
I shouted back in the same volume that " tell the owners to build new toilets ONLY then she will bring tourists" !!
1.5 hours waited for replacement van..NO WATER

Poseidon Hotel, Marmaris
I recently stayed at the Poseidon Hotel in Marmaris, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel's location is fantastic—just a 30-minute walk to the charming old town and harbor, making it easy to explore the area.
I initially booked a sea-view balcony room, but my view was unfortunately blocked by the restaurant roof. However, the manageress was incredibly accommodating and promptly moved me to a brighter and cleaner room on a higher level, which made all the difference.
The rooms are of a reasonable size, and I must say, the shower is brilliant with high water pressure—definitely one of the highlights of my stay! One downside was the air conditioning; the instructions weren't very clear, so it took some time to figure out the perfect setting.
The beds are comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping everything tidy. The pool area is nicely maintained, though I found the sunbeds to be limited. The good news is that there are additional sunbeds available on the pier and beachfront at no extra cost.
As for the food, it was decent but nothing extraordinary. The breakfast buffet was average, but the lunch and dinner options were satisfactory, with plenty of snacks, drinks, and sides like chips. The desserts, however, were quite good and a nice treat!
What truly sets Poseidon Hotel apart is its warm and friendly staff. A big shout-out to the daytime security guard for his helpfulness and friendliness, as well as to all the restaurant staff who were always ready to assist with a smile.
Overall, Poseidon Hotel is a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable stay in Marmaris, especially given its welcoming atmosphere and dedicated staff.
