Perfect Family Getaway!
We had an amazing stay! The family room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with comfy beds and a lovely view. The kids loved the indoor pool and play area, and the breakfast buffet had something for everyone. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing break!

Great location, beautiful and relatively good price for the service. Staff were nice and friendly. Good food, but not great. Also entertainment could have been much better for adults.
Generally we had a pleasant stay and we totally recommend it.

If HMP Strangeways did all inclusives... This place isn't 5 star. It's 3 at best. On arrival (and throughout the stay) there was a very faint but noticeable hint of a vomit smell in the main lobby. That wasn't a deal breaker in itself but it did serve to act as a foreboding sign of what was to come. The rooms and facilities are quite dated, which is fine, if you know to expect that. Our room had a wooden headboard for the bed nailed to the wall except it was 50% wider than the bed. Speaking of beds - brutal. I may as well have gone and slept on the hotel roof. It's a good thing there's plenty of cheap surgery on offer in Turkey because you'll need it after a week in one of those things. There was also a large stain on the wall just outside of our room that suggested one of the previous occupants had hurled up the wall at some point. Maybe that explained the smell in the lobby. The general service from the majority of the staff was pretty slow and for the most part, unenthusiastic and inattentive. There were some really good staff but they were the exception, not the rule. There was definitely strategies in place on the bars and ice cream stands to slow everything down to help manage consumption and therefore the bottom line. For example, one day it rained heavily all day and the pool bar was closed. Fair enough. However, the main lobby bar had an endless queue all day as a result, yet the secondary bar in the lobby area was not opened to help deal with demand. Meal times were an interesting affair - when we were there, the staff in the main restaurant looked like they weren't expecting the volume of people they were faced with. The rabbit was definitely caught in the headlights. More often than not we'd have to sit at a table that had recently been used and cleared but not reset, which meant having to wander around to find someone to find knives and forks and spoons. The food was average at best but there were some, quite nice, fresh salad bits. For the most part it was children's soft play vibe, all you can eat buffet style food, sweating in those metal serveries and accompanied by chips... Quantities of some of the food items was also kept quite controlled which then assisted in this slightly frantic feeling in the dining hall as people dashed around, wide eyed with panic, trying to grab the last slice of pizza. The grounds of the hotel and views of the Mediterranean were lovely and the one big redeeming feature of the complex was the easy access to the back exit, where a short walk would take you onto the coastal path towards Marmaris and to all the many bars and restaurants, where you could eat and drink properly. When you are looking at places to stay on your Turkish holiday and you're faced with this place and somewhere else down the road that's £500 more expensive for the week, do yourself a favor, don't make the same mistake i did, and just spend the money.

Great Stay Overall – But Indoor Table Tennis Will Be Missed
We recently stayed at Labranda Mares in Marmaris and had a lovely holiday. The location is stunning, the nature around the resort is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay.
One thing that stood out during our visit — and unfortunately left many families disappointed — was the removal of the indoor table tennis area. This space used to be a fun and engaging place where around 10-15 kids would gather daily. The children had even come up with a clever system to ensure everyone got a turn within 3-4 minutes, making it a great environment for social interaction and active play.
Many families, including us, truly appreciated that safe and shaded indoor activity, especially during the hotter parts of the day. I personally raised this with the customer relations team, hoping for an alternative solution, but unfortunately, none was provided.
Despite this, we still enjoyed our time at Labranda Mares and appreciate all the effort the team puts into making the resort a relaxing experience. We do hope management considers bringing back or replacing the indoor table tennis, as it really contributed to the family-friendly atmosphere this hotel is known for.
