This absolutely cannot be a 5 stars hotel! Absolutely! The rooms are decent at most. Very small room with just essential amenities. The bathroom door is glass and you can see everything happening inside even when laying in the bed as there is a conveniently placed mirror, so you don't miss a thing! Privacy = 0. Mold in the bathroom. Broken entry door. Very disappointed!

came with my wife from Lebanon to spend 4 nights at Blue Bay Platinum Hotel on September 6 till 10, after reading many positive reviews about it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the room, which is closer to a 4-star standard rather than a 5-star, for the following reasons:
1. Soap and shampoo were not provided regularly. After several requests, we only received shampoo but no soap.
2. There were no 5-star amenities such as a proper minibar or other essentials.
3. The air conditioning was difficult to use with the remote control, and there was unnecessary plastic covering at the bottom of the unit.
4. The electronic room key was frustrating and often problematic.
5. The safe box was not free of charge and quite expensive to use.
On the positive side:
The food was excellent, very diverse, and of high quality, with a great kitchen staff.
A staff member named Aygül was extremely kind, professional, and helpful.
Overall service in the resort facilities was good, except for the room experience.
The beach was beautiful and relaxing, and the pools were enjoyable.

We’ve just come back from a 10-day stay, and I honestly don’t even know where to begin. This hotel completely ruined what was meant to be a relaxing family holiday.
The food was absolutely disgraceful. One evening, we even found mould on the wraps — yes, actual mould! When we reported it to the manager and waiter, they tried to claim it was a fly. Ridiculous. No apology, no concern, and no replacement food was offered. When we told the chef, he thought we wanted it toasted! The whole situation was beyond belief.
Food hygiene was shocking throughout our stay — trays were left uncovered, children were coughing and sneezing over the buffet, and staff did nothing to maintain even the most basic hygiene standards. The same food was reheated and reused day after day, and most of it was stone cold by the time you got to it. The meat was undercooked, the vegetables soggy and flavourless, and there was little to no variety. Even the simple things like chips or pasta were either burnt or tasteless. Breakfast wasn’t much better — stale bread, no fresh juice only strong cordial you have to water down, and greasy food that looked like it had been sitting out for hours.
That said, I will give credit where it’s due — the desserts were actually lovely. They were well-presented, fresh, and probably the only thing worth eating there. It’s just a shame the rest of the food didn’t match the same standard.
The rooms were another major disappointment. They were far from clean. Housekeeping only made the beds each day and did the absolute bare minimum. Our bedding was changed just once during our entire 10-day stay. I actually made my own bed most mornings, so they didn’t have much to do other than leave fresh towels — which, on one occasion, arrived dirty, with someone’s lipstick stain still on them! The showers and floors were never cleaned, and there was dust building up everywhere.
To make matters worse, we had to contact reception several times because the cleaners didn’t even leave us with any toilet roll or bottled water. It’s ridiculous to have to chase basic essentials every single day.
The main door to our room was literally falling apart — the top of it was crumbling and breaking into pieces. For a room that was supposedly “refurbished,” it was an absolute embarrassment.
We could hear everything from the neighbouring room — every conversation, every laugh, even their TV. There was zero soundproofing, making it impossible to relax or get a decent night’s sleep.
The beds were another nightmare. Two single beds shoved together to make a double, which meant we were constantly falling into the gap in the middle. Completely uncomfortable and not what you’d expect from a supposedly decent hotel.
The entertainment was boring, repetitive, and poorly organised. And to make matters worse, they even had the nerve to charge extra for bingo — at an all-inclusive! I’ve never heard anything so ridiculous.
Some (and only some) of the staff were friendly, but the majority were rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping guests. It honestly felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers.
The one redeeming feature was the spa — the staff there were absolutely lovely, friendly, and professional. They were the only people in the entire hotel who made us feel welcome and actually cared about guests having a good experience.
Overall, this was one of the worst holidays we’ve ever had. Between the awful food hygiene, poor housekeeping, rude staff, and general lack of care, this hotel should be ashamed of itself. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and will definitely never return. An absolute disaster from start to finish.

We have just returned from a two week holiday at the Blue Bay Platinum Hotel and give it 5 stars.
All the staff were amazing and could not do enough for you. One of the waiters in the restaurant always tried to keep a table for us in busy times, can`t thank him enough. The bar staff were friendly, especially the one at the adult only pool.
House keeping were always cleaning as were the pool attendants always tidying up after us all.
I would highly recommend the Spa-fitness centre attached to the hotel. Tarzan the salesman is a genuine nice guy and the girls working in the spa definitely are brilliant at massages.
I would have no issues in returning next year.
Thank you again all of you for making our holiday so enjoyable.

I spent a week here the location is perfect for shops and bars, the hotel is lovely great service and friendly staff.
I was not overly impressed with the room we had the toilet did not flush properly and when having a shower you could smell a sewage kind of smell. Our balcony was tiny you could just about get 2 people on it.
The cleaners came in and made beds up and left bottles of water and clean towels, however they did not clean the bathroom shower and sink all week.
There is endless amounts of food served all day long with different theme each night. At certain times at dinner it was very hard to find a table.
The pools were clean and staff always walki g around cleaning up.
It was very hard to find a sunbed, people were down at the pool at least an hour before with towels waiting to claim them.
The beach is a 5 min walk away but its man made and not very big, you are better to walk a little further up.
The entertainment was good most nights but again was hard to find a seat of you got there a little later.
Apart from them few things I would definitely go back.
