So disappointed in this resort. We previously stayed at the Grecotel in Corfu and it was amazing....this place is not. Rooms, hallways, elevators all need renovation. Currently the air-conditioning is not working. The first room we checked into last night had hot air coming out of the AC vents so we waited about 1- 1 1/2 hours for them to put us in another room just to have the same EXACT thing happen. We had to sleep with the sliding doors open and of course woke up with mosquito bites everywhere. If the resort as a whole is experiencing issues with their air-conditioning, we should have been notified of this when we checked in yesterday. The 2 meals we have had so far at this resort have just been mediocre at best.While the hotel staff are extremely polite and the ocean view and pools are very beautiful, that cannot make up for all the other things listed in this post. I would NEVER stay here again. It's so bad my husband is looking for a room elsewhere. Again, I cannot describe my level of disappointment at this resort compared to the one on Corfu. The one on Corfu is a 10, this is a 2.

had the pleasure of staying at Grecotel LuxMe Dama Dama as a single parent with my three children for 6 nights and 7 days, and I can honestly say this has been one of the most heartwarming and memorable holidays we’ve ever had.
From the very first moment we stepped into the hotel, we were welcomed with genuine smiles and kindness. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and made every effort to ensure that we felt comfortable and cared for — it truly felt like a home away from home.
One of the most touching moments for us was when the team surprised my daughter with a birthday cake for her 16th birthday. It was such a thoughtful and emotional gesture that meant so much to both of us. This kind of attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality is what sets this hotel apart.
The food at the hotel was absolutely delicious, with a wide range of choices for every taste — whether you’re into Mediterranean, international dishes, or lighter options, there was something for everyone. The pool was always clean and spacious enough, and the minibar in our room was refilled every day, which was a nice touch, especially with kids.
Every single staff member we interacted with — from reception to housekeeping to the restaurant staff — was kind, helpful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests happy.
If you are looking for a place where you can relax with your family, feel safe, enjoy amazing food, and be treated with real warmth, this is the place. Thank you, Grecotel team, for giving us memories we’ll cherish forever. I will definitely return and recommend this beautiful hotel to all my friends and family.

Grecotel is an amazing hotel with premium quality service which you do not expect for the price.
Upon arrival hosts were waiting to take our luggage and the check-in procedure went smoothly (they even gave us a welcome drink). Bags were brought to our room and after having a drink at the bar, the host brought us to our room.
The quality of the food in the restaurants are alright. My girlfriend is vegetarian so we didn't make use of the a la carte restaurants since they don't provide many vegetarian options. But the buffets were alright.
however i was blown away by the service and how professional the staff is. 9 out of 10 staff members from the restaurants were really really well trained, always greeting you and asking how you are, never seen tired (even though i can imagine they are, 6 days with at least 10h long shifts from what i noticed).
There are a few staff members i want to give special thanks to. These sre:
- Valerios, he was the first server we saw (at the bar in the lounge), really funny guy and mega professional, gave us a very warm welcome.
- Adam, a server at the buffet restaurant, he didn't stand still a single second during the entire evening, came to us, bottle prepared asking if we wanted another glass of wine and recognized us throughout our stay asking how the vacation is going. I work in the restaurant industry myself and i wish my personnel were like him.
- Kristin, i believe she is a host/supervisor in the buffet restaurant, i was amazed by how professional she is. Helping colleagues, walking guests and having eagle eyed vision over all the tables, all without breaking a sweat. A model employee in my eyes.
The swimming pool is great, although the towel service isn't always stocked. Had to wait multiple times throughout my stay for them to be restocked.
I didn't see much of the Entertainment, but what I did see was very good, high energy performers that know how to liven up a crowd and treat guests like they are friends, which makes for a great ambience.
The rooms were cleaned daily, even when you think you definitely left the room too late for it to be cleaned. And even your pyjamas are folded in a cute way on your bed, made for a fun surprise when coming back to the room later the day.
I would highly recommend this hotel and its services to friends and family and I'm sad our stay came to an end, I hope my positive points reach the employees because they are all doing an amazing job and I will definitely consider coming back here!

We had a really lovely stay – the hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and the food was absolutely delicious with a great variety every day. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere throughout the resort was relaxing and enjoyable.
However, one major downside really affected our overall experience: the sunbed situation. Unfortunately, almost all sunbeds – both at the pool and by the beach – were reserved by guests extremely early in the morning, often with towels left unattended for hours. Despite the beach being nearly empty at times, every single lounger was “taken,” making it nearly impossible to find a place to relax unless you got up very early yourself. This issue seriously needs to be addressed by hotel management to ensure fair access for all guests.
In summary, it’s a great hotel in many ways, but the sunbed reserving culture was frustrating and disappointing.

I have just returned from a week at the luxme dama dama and I can truly say it was magical from start to finish , the location the hotel the environment , the Staff made it a fantastic holiday , the food was amazing both buffet and ala carte , alcohol was premium , and the setting and atmosphere of the beach bar blew my mind , I genuinely didn't want to leave to go home and will definitely be back again ASAP , our only gripe was the main pool we just couldn't get a bed there mainly due as always to selfish people up a 6am to claim there seat ! but do feel something could be done about towels left on beds but not used by management ?
Overall our holiday was fantastic and we were very sad to leave ,
