On the first day we got a room that was totally under the hotel standards, unfortunately it means that there is still a racism for the hotel guests as guests from Poland used to be nationally separated from better quality rooms in the past, it still remains in this particular hotel.
We were ment to get a room with a garden or see view, but this what we’ve got presented view for internet street and parking.
In room was also smell of mold, the lights were noisy when w staring up, room was dirty and what is the best, the water from bath tub sing was draining from the drain hole in toilet flooding whole bathroom XD.
Summing this up after complaint we had our room exchanged for other one which was in standard quality. We insisted on getting a room in main building as a compensation but still we get a room in side building to which the entrance was outside the resort!!! Pretty unusual. Everyday we were made to go all around the building to get ent where within the resort. Hovered this time the view was nice.
Receptionists were mostly nice, but only up to some point, as they were punished being there.
Food was okay, but everyday was mostly the same, and as the all inclusive hotel we expected to have more variety of food. Basically we based on eating pizza, or pasta. There were only couple of sweet deserts and there were no salty ones, one day we went to local supermarket to buy ones as we knew there will be none of ones.
About the all inclusive drinks, poll bar was casual there were some snacks as pizza or meat, there were ice creams and drinks, but for the COCTAILS, being on all inclusive there were only included coctails that were in the list, if you wanted to have for example mojito or aperol, eac drink costed 5€ WHAT THE HECK?
Summing up the hotel after the change of the room was okay, and the stay will be positive remembered, but definitely it’s not exclusive hotel for people that demand something more

A Wonderful Stay at Sol by Meliá Cosmopolitan Rhodes!
We had an absolutely amazing stay! The reception staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always smiling. We arrived at the hotel around 5 a.m., and even though check-in was supposed to be at 3 p.m., the gentleman at the front desk managed to get us a room within just two hours so we could rest after our long journey from Poland that was truly appreciated!
The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and smells wonderful. The restaurant is spacious, bright, and most importantly very clean. The staff throughout the hotel are kind, talkative, and always willing to help, which really makes a great impression.
The food was diverse and delicious there’s something for everyone, no matter your taste. Having been to Rhodes twice before and staying in hotels that were disappointing, this place was a pleasant surprise in every way. Everything was perfect from start to finish.
If I ever come back to Rhodes (and I hope I will!), I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again. Huge respect and warm greetings from Poland to all the amazing people in Greece! ❤️

Stayed at Sol by Meliá Cosmopolitan Rhodes from 11/09/25 – 25/09/25.
I stayed in room 8, which had a handy shortcut to the bar area. The room was basic but had working air conditioning and a safe (charged at €13 per week).
The downside? It was very noisy at night, being right by the entertainment area. Wednesday karaoke nights meant guests enthusiastically butchering popular classics, and Friday’s ABBA tribute — let’s just say, bring earplugs and spare yourself the critique.
On the positive side, the room was cleaned daily by the lovely, always-smiling cleaners — take note bar staff and waiters, as the same couldn’t always be said for them (though I get that everyone’s busy).
If you wanted a good sunbed, you had to be up early to reserve one. Food was good, but the beer and cocktails were on the weak side. The hotel was very busy, a bit of a conveyor belt of guests coming and going.
Being close to the airport, you’ll constantly see planes flying in — which is either fascinating or distracting, depending on your mood.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay at a nice hotel.

From Stress to Smiles — A Truly Memorable Stay 🌟
Our stay at the Sol Cosmopolitan Rhodes was nothing short of unforgettable. We had a rocky start with room issues on arrival, but Soula, the wonderful reception manager, along with Spyros, turned what could have been a holiday disaster into a real moment of magic. Their kindness and professionalism completely changed the mood.
The hard-working restaurant and waiting staff deserve a special shout-out ,attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. The food was excellent, offering great variety for an international crowd, and while not every dish was to my personal taste, it was a true delight.
The hotel itself has a charming 90s vibe, which adds character rather than detracts. Combined with the warmth of the staff, this made for a very welcoming atmosphere. The location is superb , just a 2-minute walk to a beautiful beach with complimentary sunbeds for guests.
Sol Cosmopolitan Rhodes genuinely turned an unsettling arrival into a holiday we’ll fondly remember. Huge thanks to the whole team for going above and beyond to make our stay so special. Highly recommended.

The Cosmopolitan is located close to the airport and the beach, which is separated by a busy road, but you can get there through an underground passage. It’s also very close to the city of Rhodes. The room we stayed in was a bit old-fashioned, but very clean and had a beautiful view of the sea and the stunning sunsets. My sister and her husband had booked a superior room in the main building, which was renovated and very nice. We had a wonderful holiday in a very friendly, clean environment with excellent food.
