Arrived at the resort on Sunday evening for a 7 day all inclusive stay at the private family rooms. - first night, rooms were filled with ants, rubbish and other insects: including in the beds - food is always stone cold and not properly cooked - had personal belongings stolen twice! - beach towels thrown in a dirty corner by other guests and covered in lipstick etc and staff uninterested - have to order food from the local town as food inedible - rooms are not ready for guests as workers installing water tanks etc on the building - hot water turned off for hours without notice and cold water is brown - workers throwing metal pipes off the building that nearly hit my mum in the head. No apology, worker just walked away and shouted something to someone on the roof in Greek - had to request cleaning staff 4 times to clean rubbish from other guest under the beds etc - no mattress covers on beds and mattress's have large brown stains on them - entertainment is subpar and for children under 10 only Only thing saving this holiday is the locals in the town close by, the location and wildlife. Only stay here if you are planning on spending your time outside the resort. Definitely not worth the thousands paid for the holiday! *UPDATE* Since the previous review above, the hotel has moved us rooms and provided free excursions and late check out as compensation. New rooms are 1000% better than last rooms, are clean and insect free. Cleaning staff are friendly. Food service has also gotten better with a wider range of food being provided which is improvement. However, business' reply underneath is incorrect! We have picture confirmation of condition of rooms and to say we are trying to paint a dark view of the hotel is not correct. The water was turned off without warning and cold water was running brown. Workers did through pipes off the roof which was no more than a inches from hitting my mum in the head. I have amended star rating to show the improvement but I still will not be returning for future stays. If you are thinking of booking to stay here, please take the above into consideration and make your own decision.

Arrived 16/4 Check in was chaotic to say the least.. Rooms 600-800 had no electricity so lots of people queuing for that also. Most mornings the electricity wouldn't be working for a good 2 hours. Put us in an 800 room therefore had no electricity for a couple of hours. Not too sure why we got put in block 800 as there is definitely no more than 400 people at the hotel this week🤔Food was edible and some days better than others but everyday is more or less the same meals. Our room only got cleaned 3 out of the 7 days we were here. When the cleaners did arrive they put 2 single sheets on our double bed !The last 3 days of the holiday we then had no hot water.. Could hear people complaining about it but just heard the same 'bare with us we are trying'. Woman with dark hair and glasses is very rude, when we checked out we asked if she could book us a taxi but she was very reluctant to as we'd already checked out. Pool has also been green the last 3 days! I've seen the hotels replies to these reviews calling them disingenuous and that people are trying to paint a bad picture but it's honestly a terrible hotel, don't get me wrong some of the staff members were lovely and helpful and the drinks are fine but please go somewhere else.

The rooms were a nice size and the location is good for access to the beach and small town nearby. However, the included food is awful. It is not kept under heat lamps so is immediately cold, it does not vary much at all between days and is flavourless or overly salty. We got ill from the food as did many other people staying there at the time. If you don't care about the food it's okay but otherwise I would avoid it.

Currently staying in the Evita Hotel, arrived late Monday evening. Were currently 3 days into our 7 day stay and have had nothing but bad experiences. •No fresh food kept back. •Insects all over beds and room. •No mattress covers. •Housekeeping not cleaning rooms. •Personal belongings being stolen. • No life guards. • Current apartments have no hot water and cold water brown in colour. •All food at breakfast and dinner is stone cold. • General cleanliness of hotel compound is filthy. Only thing saving this holiday resort is the Peacocks.

For the price we paid this was and excellent place to stay. Clean. Friendly staff. Food was very edible with choice Family resort. Can imagine it is hectic in high season. Will be returning. Great stay .
