We have just returned from a lovely holiday at the Sunset Elva Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The room was a full sea view room, and the views were spectacular. The views of sunrises were so good, the hotel should be renamed " Elba Sunrise Hotel"! The food was absolutely great, especially the breakfasts. I particularly appreciated the " tea station" , with a selection of fresh tea leaves, teapots, and hot water, to make your own.
Omelettes were made fresh for you at breakfast.
The evening food was lovely, with lots of choice.
The pool was freezing, but looked good!
The evening entertainment was held in the " Bow Bar" by the sea, and consisted of musicians with backing tapes. They were all very good, but the amps were too loud for my comfort.
The staff worked hard to keep the hotel areas clean, and the rooms were cleaned daily.
I could have sat in the room balcony all day and enjoyed the view over the sea!
The gym was good and had lovely views too!

Had a great time at this hotel, the view from the balcony in the room and from the pool areas was amazing!
Beaches, restaurants, bars etc. all within 10 mins walk.
The hotel is really clean and the staff are all very friendly.
A big shout-out to Marta and Felix, when we arrived we realized we left one of our bags in the taxi, it was late and not the best start to our holiday but they were really helpful and compassionate. Thankfully we managed to get the bag back the next morning.
Really enjoyed the stay here and will hope to return sometime 😎

Elba Sunset has gone above and beyond my expectations. The service is always kind, compassionate, and delivered with a smile. From the moment I arrived, the staff have been incredibly helpful and welcoming. The rooms are spotless, very comfortable, and my sea view is simply breathtaking—truly making my stay extra special.
I also visited the spa for a full body massage with Lorena, who was absolutely exceptional. The massage was so relaxing, and she was both professional and polite, providing a perfect service. I spent a wonderful day enjoying the spa facilities as well, which was exactly what I needed.
I still have a few days left here, but I’m already so happy with my decision to stay at Elba Sunset. I will definitely be recommending it to others and look forward to coming back again!

Fantastic hotel with beatiful views. rooms are her spacious make sure that you get a room with a sea view, especially the rooms that overlook the pool and have their private decks and you can look out to the ocean. Front desk staff were amazing especially Victoria and Hugo!! Guest services so helpful especially Elise Who helped us with some taxis, Reservations and our trip to Soller.(worth a day trip)
The restaurant was very good, hard-working staff specially the staff that work during the morning breakfast buffet. Shout out to hardworking cooks making omelettes and eggs and staff involved in restocking, plates, cutlery, coffee cups.
Hotel located on a cliff with a pool overlooking the ocean short walk to beaches to the left and right and small towns 10 to 15 minutes.
Will be back as Air Canada will have direct flights starting in summer 2026 to Mallorca

**Update after completing our stay (Room 832, August 14–19):**
Overall, we’re very pleased with our experience at the hotel.
We’d like to highlight the excellent front desk team, who consistently showed a genuine willingness to assist with any request.
*Raquel* was great throughout, and *Alice* in particular deserves a special mention for her warm attitude and consistently helpful approach.
The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained. Everything felt clean and fresh.
The pool bar staff were friendly and welcoming, and each cocktail was clearly made with care and attention.
Our room (832) was spacious, comfortable, and ideally located. We were very happy with it.
A few areas for improvement:
It would have been nice to have some soft background music at the pool to enhance the atmosphere.
Also, while we didn’t feel the room was dirty, the housekeeping service could be more thorough.
For example, we found hair ties left in the shower when we first arrived. On one occasion the toilet wasn’t cleaned, and on another, nothing was picked up or moved—an empty bottle was left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned around.
We didn’t raise these points during our stay because they didn’t affect our overall positive experience, and we felt it wasn’t worth spending time on small things that didn’t interfere with our enjoyment. Still, we believe it’s helpful for the hotel to be aware and improve.
