I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. What was supposed to be a relaxing holiday turned into a nightmare due to the food and the way the hotel is managed.
The food is recycled from previous meals — what is not eaten at dinner is cut up and served again the next day in a different form. For example, leftover ham from dinner ends up in the morning omelette, and the same happens with vegetables. The quality is poor, and after eating breakfast and dinner at the hotel, I became seriously ill.
I suffered from severe food poisoning: fever, nausea, constant vomiting, body pain, and headaches. I was confined to my room for days. When my husband asked reception to call an ambulance because it was an emergency, the staff refused to help, laughed at us, and told him to “go away” because they had already called and had no answer. It took more than an hour for the ambulance to arrive. I ended up at a private hospital where I was charged over €2,000 for treatment, tests, and medication. The doctors confirmed it was a food-related virus and prescribed medication and a special diet for a month.
Considering we paid around £3,000 for hotel and flights, I now have to eat outside restaurants just to avoid getting sick again.
Other serious issues:
• Unprofessional staff: incapable of handling emergencies, rude and dismissive.
• Noise: the hotel is very loud at night. People run around the corridors screaming, and reception does nothing even when you call to complain.
• False advertising: there are no live music events, no DJs, nothing like what is promoted online.
It’s more than 1 minute to the beach.
• The “Stay in One, Play in All” feature is misleading. The only access you actually get is to Breeza Beach Club pool and a few sunbeds. For the rest, you are charged £40 extra per seat, with no reimbursement.
Overall, this hotel ruined my holiday. Unsafe food, unprofessional staff, false advertising, and a very noisy environment. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Please book somewhere else.

I was supposed to stay here a week with my friend but the moment we stepped into the hotel we booked our return flights for the next day.
- It is WAY too expensive, the food is just recycled- they had pasta from the previous night out for breakfast.
-the hotel is extremely loud at night past 1am. Even with the windows closed and headphones on, it shook the hotel.
-there is no nighttime entertainment as advertised. They corner the pool off at 7pm and leave you to go out instead of offering the DJ services they advertised.
-you have to pay for your drinks at dinner.
-The hotel is just overbooked by men and lads trips. They hog the pool, make you feel uncomfortable when all you want is a sun lounger. Cat called, wolf whistled, laughed at. At one point in passing in the hallway a group were trying to convince me to let them into my hotel room. It’s literally LADS CENTRAL.
- Worst of all once it turned 8pm it became a zoo. Mainly the lads who stay here were acting ridiculously- we had our door handle tried on multiple occasions during the night which was terrifying and there was no security at all. They’d run in the hotel corridors and be stupidly loud. They just let in whoever walked in. Honest to god it was the most unsafe rip off of my life.
-I think the worst thing was getting charged €20 for a slushie 😔
-The hotel is clean and great for location, don’t get me wrong but if you want security and good food and reasonably priced drinks- don’t come here.

We spent 5 night in Sol House and had 0 issues at all. Room was nice, we had view to pool of another hotel, but we didn't spent any time sitting at the balcony, as mostly were out or on the beach, which is 2min walk away.
We had half board and always had nice food, only complain is that there isn't any free drinks for dinner, not even water and you not allowed to bring your own drinks.
Not the place for families (obviously as its adults only hotel) or people who want piece and quite, as its mostly young people who came to party

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. My wife and I booked a 2-week holiday (13th–27th August) at Sol House to celebrate our anniversary, spending almost £3,000 just for flights and half board accommodation. I deeply regret choosing this place.
First of all, the advertising is completely misleading. Online it says there are DJs, live music, and events – but there was nothing. False promises and false advertising from the start.
But what made this holiday truly awful was how badly the hotel handled a medical emergency. My wife fell seriously ill just a few days into the trip. She couldn’t keep any food down, was vomiting constantly, had severe headaches, and body pain. She was confined to the room for days, drinking only water.
When I ran to the reception in panic asking for help and an ambulance, the receptionist completely ignored me while casually dealing with other check-ins. I was desperate and scared, and only after I broke down crying did they finally call. The ambulance arrived over an hour later. To make things worse, the staff told me that they had “called the hospital but no one answered.” This is completely unacceptable.
We ended up at a private hospital – without being asked if we agreed or if we could afford it – and after hours there, the doctors said she had a food-borne virus. She was put on a strict 30-day diet and given medication. The hospital bill was over €2,000 on top of what we had already paid for the holiday.
This hotel not only ruined what should have been a special anniversary trip, but also left us with a massive unexpected cost and no support. The staff showed no compassion, no urgency, and no professionalism in a situation where my wife’s health was at risk.
I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel: do not book here. False advertising, careless staff, and the worst holiday experience we’ve ever had.

We've just returned from the Sol House, this was our second stay. The rooms are clean, fresh & bright, the maid calls every day to clean & replace tea, coffee, towels & to make the beds. The pool area is very clean & has plenty of sun beds. The food could be vastly improved upon by making sure the hot food selection is hot...not jyst warm.
