This was a great hotel for a last minute half term holiday. We stayed 5 nights bed and breakfast. In a one bedroom apartment.
Can’t really fault it for the price.
Rooms were lovely. Looks like they have been recently renovated. Beds comfy enough. And kitchen had everything it needed.
Offered just about everything at breakfast time. Restaurant seating area is really nice and looks trendy. Again think there’s been a renovation.
Really cool vibes throughout the hotel.
Really quiet as the hotel was ready to shut for the winter. all amenities still offered and entertainment on in the bar every night.
Great staff throughout this hotel. All really friendly and polite.

Overall our stay here was good, we only went for a short 4 day break to catch a little sun before the gloom and doom of winter in the UK. We were all inclusive and found the food to be good as there were always some decent options for meat and veggies, a lot of stuff repeats but as we were only there for a short stay it was ok. The staff are pleasant enough and although we didn't partake in any activities the guys running those seemed enthusiastic and had good energy. The rooms are tight, fine again for a short stay. I probably wouldn't want to spend 2 weeks here during peak season but for a short break it's a good value option.

Review for Alua Boccaccio Hotel
Our stay at Alua Boccaccio had its ups and downs. One negative experience was with a staff member who was very unpleasant. We were asked to leave because we were sitting outside with a glass (a bottle we received from the staff for winning a game). On the same day, other guests who had won were allowed to have their drinks, and no one told them to leave. This felt really unfair.
Additionally, some friends who were also staying at the hotel didn’t receive the complimentary water in the minibar upon arrival. When I asked the front desk about it, an older gentleman responded rudely, telling me I could just go buy water if I wanted. My concern wasn’t about buying water—it was that some guests received perks while others didn’t, which was unfair.
The evening shows, especially the 9:30 PM ones, are disappointing, shallow, and not very entertaining. On the other hand, activities like bingo, quizzes, games, and wine tasting are excellent, and the staff in these events are always great. They even give out medals, diplomas, and bottles of wine or sparkling wine, which encourages participation and is a real positive.
The food in the hotel is very good. However, the hotel itself is noisy—guests can be heard through the walls, and we often had random people knocking on our door in the morning (not staff), along with other strange noises. Room service is slow; on the first floor, it was always around 1 PM.
The rooms are quite small and have limited storage space. There isn’t much room for clothes or luggage, so our suitcase had to stay right at the entrance. The room itself was okay, but the hotel shows its age. There is some rust in our bathroom.
Regarding rules and information, things are confusing. The all-inclusive system isn’t explained properly at check-in. There is a paid café in the building and an all-inclusive restaurant, but this wasn’t explained to us. There were no resident representatives, and we were not told when the departure bus would come or whether we could still use hotel facilities after checking out. For example, we arrived at 6 PM on the first day and would have liked to eat or use the pool, but the information was lacking.
Overall, Alua Boccaccio has good food and fun activities, but inconsistencies in staff treatment, information, room size, and hotel upkeep make the stay less enjoyable.

Had an amazing holiday and 5 night stay here! Upon arrival we were informed the floor our room was on was undergoing plumbing issues so we were put up in a lovely hotel down the road and upgraded our whole holiday to all inclusive, couldn’t of been happier with how the staff handled the situation! Hotel and room was clean , food selection wasn’t too bad , pool area was a good size was never overly busy. We really enjoyed the beach bar which was part of the all inclusive was amazing having that by the beach for drinks and snacks. Location was great ,beach was 5mins or less walk, shops and restaurants near by and we made use of the arcade just down the road! Overall great holiday and stay, would recommend

This isn’t a 4 star hotel. It’s 2.5 at best. Wish we would have done a little more research before booking, as the area is basically Blackpool on ecstasy (UK seaside town)
The rooms are ridiculously basic and small. The “double bed” is 2 singles on wheels, which don’t lock so you have to sleep on either side of the beds or you fall down the middle, but don’t expect to sleep on the concrete slabs posing as mattresses. No iron, no seating, no gowns, and a warm fridge.
The communal areas are actually decent, and clean. The cleaners themselves seemed friendly, always offering a smile and a “hola”
The food for all inclusive is repetitive and even if you get there within 5 minutes of opening, will be luke warm. The items are also not very well described, there are zero allergen information. My hot wife is allergic to peanuts, and accidentally ate a dessert with nuts in. This ensured they were the only nuts in her mouth for the trip. Fuming.
The area is so far away from what I was expecting, with the same items in every single shop. It is totally catered to tourists, so if you want to experience a true authentic spanish town, go somewhere else. In fact, just go somewhere else anyway.
The pool is freezing which I’m sure will be for “economic reasons” which is business talk for “we don’t want to pay for heating”. The pool is tiny, freezing, and in the shade for 75% of the day. The pictures online are misleading.
To end on an almost positive note, while the entertainment isn’t my cup of tea, the team did try and were upbeat at all times. And the bar staff were great. Even if the cocktails they serve are premixed and lacking in any sort of flavour. The wasps seemed to enjoy them though.
All in all, disappointing. Could have saved a decent amount of money and gone to a 3 star hotel and I’m sure the experience would have been better as expectations would have been lower.
