Good for couples and families. Nothing will blow you away, but it's all consistently good. The free bus service to the beach was ideal, and the public bus stop outside the hotel takes you straight to Palma. Would recommend :)

Had an overall good experience staying at BQ Belvedere. It is conveniently located next to the 46 and 47 buses, but not so much to the beach (steep hills and lots of stairs on the way up).
We appreciated having the nearby highway connection, which made getting to and from more picturesque beaches and the airport very easy, but it does get loud at night with the windows open.
Amenities such as the pool were in good shape, although we barely used them as our stay was short, and we were more interested in exploring the nearby options in Cala Major and Palma. We tried going for a night swim, but sadly, they closed the pool at around 6 pm despite the sun being fully up.
We only had some snacks from the snack bar but were not impressed with the food quality, I'm glad we only paid for accommodation as some of the cafes and restaurants nearby were very nice.
Beds were only twin beds pushed together but very firm and comfortable overall. Thankfully, we were given a nice room with a wrap around balcony with a view to the mountains, which, in my opinion, totally makes up for the lack of snuggling. Bathrooms were also nice, and the overhead shower was amazing.
Gaston was super helpful when we arrived a few hours too early for check in, and expedited our room card deliveries. His help was much appreciated.

I had in my eyes the best holiday ever. The food was lovely always something to have and it was all cooked to perfection. You are able to access all points of interest from the lobby with ease, the pool is accessible to all ability individuals, timetable all activities started in at least ten minutes of the vents expected start time. There is many low skilled activities which are perfect for kids that gives everyone a fair game. I would especially like to thank Paula and Jullia from the activities team as they were always there for people and that they were approachable to all people and are always the life of the party. I would like to also thank Suntai for his fun events and would like to appreciate his quick thinking as he can come up with a new plan for an event that has high participation and everyone had fun. And last but not least Pietro he helped include people In events everyday he would find me to get me to come along to the event no matter how good I was, no matter how lazy I felt he would get me up and into the activity. He was approachable to the point where we would get lost in conversation about what we like to do and and we want to do in life, he always knew when we can have fun and where we can chill out, that’s good because we all need that second to chill. But honestly those 4 people weren’t just leaders they were also friends to everyone, to me they were like best friends always there for a joke and to talk and they deserve a pat on the back or even more. This hotel isn’t where memories are made it’s where the best memories are made. Paula, Julia, Suntai, Pietro love you guys you made my week amazing and I can’t wait to come here again. ❤️❤️

Amazing stay:)
Just 15 minutes from the airport by car.
The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. Thanks Roger for the best reception we've ever had.
My family and I enjoyed a lot with wonderful memories and the breakfast was truly the best we've ever had.
We can't wait to come back!

If you like ant infestations, unclean rooms, unaccountability, high prices and unfriendly staff, this is the place to stay! This is at best a 2-star hotel. I stayed for three nights. I woke up after the first night to hundreds of ants crawling in my room on the floor and on my luggage, and I had ant bites. I notified the front desk, who was extremely rude and abrasive when I said there was an ant infestation. They took no accountability. First, I asked for a room change. They refused, saying that first they will send someone to clean the room. There was not a single apology. No one came for hours to my room. No one investigated my complaint or the room promptly.
Housekeeping only came hours later, which they sprayed some chemical but left multiple ant carcasses on the ground and did not clean the room. There was a strong chemical smell, and when I asked for a room change, because I could not stay in that room without coughing due to the fumes, I was again greeted with rude staff and refusal. Eventually after a lot of hesitation, only one staff member was kind enough to help me move rooms. That single staff member was the only somewhat pleasant staff I encountered over the course of my trip. Low and behold, the washroom of the new room had again many ants crawling around the minute I entered the new room. Mind you, I had not eaten a single piece of food and the room was supposedly fresh, clean and a "nicer" room. In this new room, there were papers left behind the desk from the previous guest, who based on the papers had stayed 1 month ago. Meaning, they had not cleaned behind the desk for a month. Absolutely disgusting and I had to spend as little time as possible at the hotel.
I had booked through Expedia. I reported to Expedia within minutes of seeing the ants the first time, and they promptly called the hotel to attempt to deal with the issue. When Expedia called, the hotel proceeded to blame me for ants, saying I caused the ants to come because I ate in my room. I did not know I was not allowed to eat food in the room that I paid nearly $200 a night for. They treat their guests by childishly blaming guests and failing to take accountability for their own hotel's infestation. I have stayed in 2 star accommodation with cleaner conditions, ie. with no ants running around. They also failed to cooperate with Expedia by being completely unresponsive. On that note, maybe the hotel should provide a tissue box or even a mug in the room would be nice.
On top of this, the staff was completely unfriendly and unwelcoming. Not only was there no apology for the fact the rooms were in a disgusting state or the fact that the ant infestation ruined my vacation, there was a clear level of judgement towards solo travellers. For example, when I would walk into the hotel, those older walking in front of me in a pair would get a warm welcome. I would simply get stared at as I was walking in. If I am paying the same rate as others, not sure why the judgement is necessary.
Finally, this hotel is clearly eager to pinch money. The hotel safe and pool towels both had to be paid for, in cash. I have never had to pay to use a safe or towels in Spain, and never in Mallorca. If you are going to charge your clients for every single thing, you may consider offering the option to use card at least rather than maximize your profit by taking cash only.
Overall, this was a horrible, expensive experience. This hotel needs to learn first, how to treat an ant infestation and second, how to treat their clients better. I will never visit a BQ hotel again, which is disheartening given that they brand themselves as a premium resort experience and have many hotels across the island. Your money is better spent literally anywhere else on the island.
