We’ve just spent a great week here, despite the fact it was busy the staff were so efficient at keeping the place clean and tidy.
The staff were incredibly friendly and the fitness program was perfect for keeping active people like me in shape on holiday.
The evening entertainment was also really good for a resort like this. The Rock tribute night was my favourite.
Thanks for a great stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful holiday resort, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the resort places a strong emphasis on cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction.
The facilities were absolutely top-notch. The pool area was pristine, the spa was incredibly relaxing, and there was always something fun to do, whether it was enjoying a meal at the on-site restaurant or exploring the gorgeous surroundings. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and had a cozy yet modern feel—exactly what you want for a relaxing getaway.
A special mention to Dani, who truly made our stay memorable. He was always so friendly and approachable, with a smile that never seemed to fade! His helpfulness went above and beyond, whether it was offering local tips or helping us with anything we needed. It’s clear that Dani takes pride in his work, and his positive attitude made a huge difference in our experience.
Overall, this resort provided everything we needed for a perfect holiday. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, fun, and welcoming place to stay. Thank you to the whole team, and especially to Dani, for making our stay so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

We’re currently staying at Iberostar Cala Barca and having the most incredible holiday! The resort is absolutely beautiful – from the stunning views and clean, spacious facilities to the wide range of pools and activities, there's something for everyone here.
The food has been fantastic with loads of variety, and everything is so well organised. What really makes this place special, though, is the amazing staff. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, and a special shoutout goes to Dani – he’s been absolutely brilliant! His energy, humour, and genuine care for guests make such a difference. He’s constantly going above and beyond to make people smile and feel at home.
We’re loving every minute of our time here and already don’t want it to end. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable getaway!

The hotel is clearly family-friendly, with a beautiful beach nearby and suitable facilities. However, our stay was spoiled by a serious safety issue in our apartment (room 1216): the patio door leading outside did not close properly, and despite reporting it to reception and a technician’s visit, nothing was fixed or taken seriously. The only solution offered was an upgrade for an additional €260, which is unacceptable. I had to find a way to lock this door myself, due to the lack of staff solution.
The bathroom is very outdated, with faulty plumbing (no cold water) and very poor lighting. Another detail: the first night, I asked for a kettle and was given one with a UK plug, not compatible with Spanish sockets — showing a lack of attention to detail.
The in-room safe is charged at €3 per day, which is ridiculous for a 4-star hotel in Europe.
The staff were friendly, but communication was inconsistent, and most importantly, no goodwill gesture was offered in response to these serious problems.
The meals were adequate, typical of all-inclusive buffets. However, the main restaurant has no — or very little — air conditioning, which makes it uncomfortably hot, especially during peak hours. The central pools are great, but the ones located further out need serious renovation. Pools close very early (6 pm). The hotel is very spread out, which makes getting around long, and the shuttle carts sometimes take over 20 minutes to arrive — when the reception picks up the phone…
In summary, despite a family-friendly environment and a nice location, the outdated accommodation and lack of proper handling of major issues make this place hard to recommend. Free alcohol doesn’t make everything, guys.

We booked our vacation in February 2025 using the Expedia website for a trip in July 2025. We are a family of 4, our two kids are 3 years and under. We booked the Family Room with a balcony. Upon arrival of the hotel, we were told that our room was in building 12 area, which is a buggy ride away. It's about a 10 minute walk. They did not offer us a buggy so we drove our car to the building only to be lost as we couldn't find the unit! We had to lug in our luggage along with our two kids who were already sick from the long travel.
Next, we were welcomed with a really outdated apartment room. It was more of a 1-2 star vs 4 star. The bathroom was utterly disgusting, the worst I have ever stayed at. I attached pictures of the mold on the faucets and the sink. :( To make matters worst, their terrace door doesn't close properly. We were on the ground floor with two little kids, so we didn't feel safe at night. We brought this to their attention, in which they stated that because we booked through expedia, we should have known how the rooms looked like as it's on their website, and pretty much 'too bad'. However, I checked expedia and their website and no where does it say whether a room is refurbished or not! The pictures are very misleading. I am paying for a 4-star, I'd expect a 4-star. When I informed them that, they said if we wanted to change rooms, we would need to pay an extra €65-165 per night....
In addition to that, they do not provide safety lock boxes. You have to pay for these extra per night which I found quite strange. How do people lock up their personal belongings? Would they ensure there is no theft with their staff? Really strange.
The food in all the restaurants are relatively the same. All buffets, with no service. The food is of very bad quality and doesn't taste good. We go to Spain very often, and this wasn't our first time in Mallorca. It was our first time at an all-inclusive as we thought it'd be convenient for the kids. I've gone to other Iberostars before in the Caribbean and have had better outcomes. I'm really surprised about this one and I will never go back to another Iberostar again.
The cherry on top was that they charged us €35 for a full cake. We were celebrating mine and my son's birthday. All we wanted was a candle on top of a slice of cake or something to make it feel special, but they gave us a whole cake for €35. It's a party of 2 adults and 2 babies, how are we going to finish the 30cm cake?
The buggy service was also terrible. The gentlemen driving the buggies were very nice. It's just it was super hard to get a buggy. We would wait for 25 minutes sometimes. The pool by our apartment was also quite dirty. If you do decide on this hotel, ensure you get the new refurbished rooms.
