We had a really lovely five night stay at Iberostar Waves Cala Barca. We are a family of four with two kids, boy and girl, aged five and seven. We spent all day everyday at the pool, the kids loved the bouncy dome pool in particular as the are really high energy kids thay love water. We as parents were able to relax and get to actually read our books while the kids had so much fun right in front of us. The food in the hotel is great, always lots of variety and lovely fresh salads, seafood, grilled meats etc. We really enjoyed the Mexican on a few occasions, lovely food and much calmer vibe than the main buffet. We got really lucky with our room on the 3rd floor looking out at the sea, sunsets from our balcony were fab. The beds were really comfortable, even my kids remarked on them. Our room was cleaned everyday, so nice to return to in the evening. The beach was a short stroll from our room and I took an evening dip every day, really peaceful and clear water there, albeit a bit rocky as you enter the water. We actually didn't leave the hotel during our stay as we really didn't want to, which normally never happens. We always rent a car for day trips, but this time we were enjoying relaxing too much to leave!
Special mention to Panne (sorry if spelt incorrectly), the manager who really went out of his way to look after my daughter with lots of special deserts and icepops as she is dairy intolerant, made her feel really special!
We can't wait to return in the future and highly recommend for families!

We recently enjoyed a fantastic family holiday at Iberostar Waves Club Cala Barca and had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The resort is incredibly family-friendly, with the kids' swimming pool being a particular highlight for our children. They spent hours enjoying the water facilities, which kept them entertained throughout our stay.
The all-inclusive food options were excellent, with plenty of variety to suit both adults and children. We especially loved the beach restaurant, which offered a beautiful setting to enjoy meals while taking in the lovely surroundings. Another great feature was the food trucks available throughout the day, offering a range of tasty snacks between meal times or as a convenient alternative to heading to a restaurant for lunch. They were perfect for keeping everyone happy while making the most of the pool and beach areas.
What really made our holiday special was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The children's entertainment team were absolutely fantastic – energetic, engaging, and brilliant with the kids. They helped create so many happy memories for our family.
A special mention also goes to Danny (I believe that was his name) at the beach restaurant. He was incredibly helpful and friendly when our child accidentally left a teddy behind at the beach restaurant. Remarkably, a few days later we managed to leave the same teddy at the main restaurant, and once again the staff were wonderful in helping us retrieve it. Danny's kindness and excellent customer service really stood out and were greatly appreciated.
Overall, this was a fantastic family holiday, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Iberostar Waves Club Cala Barca to families looking for great facilities, good food, excellent entertainment, and outstanding staff.

Beautiful hotel, spotless, everything you need on your doorstep. Staff were all helpful and friendly especially Benny ❤️ Our daughter fell ill on day 3 of our holiday and Benny went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and we still enjoyed our holiday experience thanks to all his help. Also another big thankyou to the doctors on site, it's very much appreciated. We look forward to booking another holiday with you next year 😃

Gustavo was brilliant at at The Beach House, very accommodating.
The soft juice in machines were weak flavours.
Room was clean and adequate for family of 5 with two adjoining rooms.
The beach is absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed our time there.

We had a brilliant family holiday. The food was excellent, there were plenty of pools to choose from and the children loved the activities. Friendly staff, a great atmosphere and lots to do. A wonderful place for families and one we’d happily visit again.
