To be honest I don't know where are those four stars coming, it's barely three. The place definitely has potential, quite close to the beach, shops and car rentals. We booked two studios and when arrived we got only one apartment. The guy at the reception told us we should relax. Only after two days another apartment was provided. The dinners were OK, although breakfasts were terrible. Wifi very limited and available around the reception. It's hard to tell weather and how often the rooms were cleaned. Pool was fine. A lot of mosquitos, you will see them on the walls, ceilings etc. The light in the rooms was very weak and uncomfortable. To sum it up, I don't really understand why people rate it with 5 stars, there is a lot to improve. Things as WIFI are really easy and not expensive to upgrade. Seems like there is no will to do that. Do a good research before you decide to book this place. I do not recommend.

Really great place for family vacation. Nice big rooms, everything was clean. Great food, fresh and tasty - we really enjoyed the traditional Greek cuisine. Recommended for families with kids, our kids enjoyed the hospitality and friendly staff that was super nice and always made some fun with them. They really like their jobs, if you are looking for super friendly place, this is it.

The rooms are very clean and spacious but cluttered and dark. You can open the curtains once dressed as every window is overlooked, not a problem but you do need to close all windows and doors once the sun starts to gp down as there are an awful lot of mosquitoes or something similar. Thank goodness for citronella oil and jungle spray. When they do Greek food it's great but they seem to think we al want chips. Which is fine but there Greek food is excellent, trust in yourselves more.

It's our last day soon and it was fantastic holiday I've never done all inclusive before but this one was very good The staff are Very friendly and helpful they interact with the children around the complex which is nice and you get clean bedding and towels everyday.

Just returned back from blue Aegean. First of all I’d like to say how perfectly located this hotel is, so close to beaches/restaurants/bars. The staff were lovely and couldn’t fault the service. The only issue we had was the food for all inclusive, not much selection or choice. Me and my partner had to go out every day for food for this reason. This upset me as we paid for all inclusive which we couldn’t use due to this. If we had known this we would’ve self catered. That was the only issue we had apart from that everything was lovely. Room was pretty average but didn’t bother us as we didn’t spend time in there.

When we arrived it was already midnight the guy by reception approached us very welcoming and I asked if we can still get anything to eat the answer was "certainly"! We've been welcomed at the bar and offered some light food and drinks. The food was pretty good I am a fussy eater but I found options of salads, meat, fish, and different desserts every day. The service is outstanding never had to wait too long for drinks and all the staff was very friendly. I loved the place hotel is not very big but very cozy, and a good place to stay with family. It is a shame about the entertainment, last night we stayed there meant to be a Vegas show but the girls couldn't do it due to the weather ( it started to rain a bit) so they just decided to cancel, but they didn't look like a very experienced team. In conclusion, would like to say I would recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed.

It's a good family hotel. Premium luxury prices for July using a so-called low-cost + holiday with a jet.something airline defo was a mistake, because the hotel is ok but not that awesome. It's the Greek people and how they treat tourists that deserve the 5 stars. I would not return at the same hotel, mainly because its location which isn't ideal for traveling around the island. Other than that, families with kids should be OK

We just came back from our holidays in Kalia Beach Hotel. The service out there is very good, people are very friendly, help you with every question you have. The rooms are very clean, nice,just as on the website. The hotel has got a swimming pool but in the distance of 100-200m is a beach where you can also spend time if you want. The meals we were eating in the restaurant Zorbas,next to the hotel. The service is brilliant, atmosphere out there is so friendly,meals are fresh,tasty,so everything as it should be. We are coming back next year, definitely.

The food is terrible. Ended up eating out elsewhere even though I was all inclusive at this hotel. I'm not one to complain normally but the food was bad. The hotel itself was clean but basic, the aircon didn't work. The only entertainment was a pool table, but that didn't work. Tiles in the pool were loose. Whole place needs updating. Location was good, on the sea front. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. for the food alone, I'd never return.

Excellent small cozy hotel near the sea. Really friendly people work here. The variety of food is not huge though every dish is amazing. A lot of food included in all inclusive is local traditional food. Loads of points of interest near. You can find 3 or 4 different beaches nearby cost 6-8 for a sun set(an umbrellaand two sunbeds). There is live music every evening in the hotel. Traditional.

Hotel is renovated and has nice rooms. Its right at sea and around 100m from main beach. I suggest all inclusive, because you have basically unlimited food and drinks (even alcoholic). It has a pool and 24h reception. If you find a great deal I think, its worth it. 😁

The hotel has a great location. Right across from the sea. The The hotel has a great location. Right across from the sea. The pool is fantastic and kept extremely clean. It's 25 meters and I was able to swim 1/2 mile a day uninterrupted. The food is great. Not excellent. The gym sucks. My television never really worked but you're not supposed watch TV on vacation, but I did ask three times for them to fix it and no one did. Christine at the front desk was lovely and they were all helpful. Janni gave me a great massage. This is a family hotel. Not expensive at all. They have some entertainment but for me, (I'm a professional musician) it was lame. All in all, I recommend it.

We had a good experience. We came with an all inclusive package but we wouldn’t recommend it. Rooms: we had one at ground floor with very comfortable bed. Toilet/shower is full renovated so it’s a plus. Also a/c works perfectly. Restaurant: food is different every day, we stayed for 8 days and we were nicely surprised with the variety. We would have been appreciate more sea food however. Pools: A nightmare, People reserves the beds literally from 6 am despite of being forbidden. ! We were full week and beds would be with towel but people may not show up there at all. This is such nasty behaviour can’t believe it myself. Reserving them just in case you may want to come ? We never got to have one spare bed in 8 days. On the other hand the beds by the sea are always available, of course is paid. All inclusive drinks not worthy! They don’t have good alco drinks included. If lucky they may offer you a cuba libre or gin & tonic, beer! You can only get the drinks at the indoor bar which is quite annoying and no sea ! If you are by the pool or sea you can’t get drinks from the outdoor bar!? Like why!? Same alcohol same place but you have to go all the way inside for it or pay !!!! Bar where you can get drinks closes at 11pm the other bar closes at 2 am. So if you Kay for all inclusive keep in mind that party is over at 11. Beach: May be the big plus here as it’s sandy and clear water. Very beautiful! Staff: the nicest people works here, from restaurant staff to animation team, bar attendants, reception, cleaning staff! Everyone committed with their work and always smiley and nice to you. Thanks to all of them for making the experience better with your vibes! Location: 100% to relax because there’s no clubs, only few bars around. Not giving 5 stars ⭐️ Because of the alcohol situation under the all inclusive, the reserved beds at the pool .

The pool and the beach are clean, the staff of the hotel is very kinde one of them is philip, he is great!!! The restaurant is very nice ! When we came into the hotel for the first time, the rooms were very clean and large. They had a provided kitchen too, which we did not use. All the facilities were so great! There were over 2 pools in the hotel, and also a beach to come with it! We loved it.. But my only concerns are 1. This is not for vegans as there are less options 2. There’s nothing to do in the room; all the languages on the TV were either Greek, Australian or French, so we couldn’t understand If u are a vegan or vegetarian, do NOT come to this hotel, otherwise, it’s a great hotel!!

This was our 3rd time staying here and I can't fault anything about our stay one bit. The room was exactly what we needed. We had requested a specific room as had been in it during previous visits and found it to be perfect for us, staff were very accommodating with this, putting us I the room requested. We had a superior family room, which had a main room with 2 beds and a seperate room for us. We travelled as a family of 3, with our 13yo son, therefor the space provided was perfect. The room was clean and had all of the facilities described online. All of the staff on site are so helpful and friendly, they really add to the pleasant experience. I will most definitely be returning again next year 😊

Staff barelly speak english. Music from the bar is very loud and it is almost impossible to get a sleep. Food is fine. Pools and maintenance are nice, guyz at the bar and restaurant are cool therefore 3 stars. I recommend this place to families with young childrens, not to adults. 🥲

Honestly my partner and I came here for a nice weeks getaway from the usual nonsense back home, there are some very good things at this hotel but there is also a lot of bad things too. -The food quality is not good and there isn’t much choice, especially for children unless they’re eating nothing but chips and ice cream - on arrival we didn’t have a warm welcome but the staff member that showed us to our room was lovely! - there are activities in the main pool most days - there is 2 bars but unless you’re close to one you’ll be walking around for a lot of the day! - the amount of money we’ve had to spend for an “all inclusive” is just not worth it - the staff are friendly - all electric turns off when you leave your room so you can’t keep the AC on! Even when you are in the room it’s timed. -Apart from restaurants and 3 shops there isn’t much in walking distance - the beach that is close by is quite small so best not to go at peak times of the day - the room is clean but some faulty electrical equipment - the spa you have to pay for it’s not included - AFTER 10pm YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR DRINKS!! What’s the point in going all inclusive? - the snack bar is quite small and mostly just serves chips - if you want a nice breakfast then definitely go out of the complex and go to the local British themed pub as the breakfast in the hotel isn’t great. - unless you want to sit by the pool all day I’d book somewhere with a bit more activities - there are no excursions that the hotel provide and not even a brochure! -the hotel is very nice but the food has ruined it for me and I was so excited to finally go to Greece to have some nice local dishes. Honestly after a long day travelling and seeing what food they had to offer I was almost crying, as a chef I know good food and this isn’t it. All in all it’s a nice place but not worth the price.

Honestly I cannot recommend this hotel. Pictures compared to what is really about is miles away. Our room was super old , dirty and rusty .Junior suite looking over a large lound and noisy electric generator and car park. Honestly, I am not exaggerating!! The bathroom floods when you use the bath. Rust on drain and shower head. A room had what looked like a kitchen ( maybe used to be a self contained riom)but no sink or hob. Open cupboard and super dirty. I've made sure to take pictures as I have seen the bad reviews always responded to with some kind of denial. The staff in general was OK. I ve asked to change a room and started explaining the reasons and the answer was : I need only one reason so I can help and to to come back after 3PM to be told , sorry we are busy.!!!

Whole holidays were awesome. Hotel and the morning staff very helpful nice and polite (special thanks to Dimitris and Xenia for perfectly done drinks and hospitality) of course late shift was also nice. We feel very comfortable there. By arriving even when was so late (11:00pm) we get something to eat and drink. Room clean and quiet with a lot of privacy. I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. From start to finish the staff were so friendly and accommodating! I would definitely recommend, the service was fantastic and any help needed they are more than welcoming to help you! The food is lovely too, I went for half board and I was not disappointed. I had a suite with my own pool, everything was perfect. I also went to the spa and had the full body massage, they were very booked up but the lady was very kind and had 2 spots left. Massage was wonderful. Location wise it's soooo close to the beach and lovely restaurants. To say the least Crete you were beautiful and you will always have room in my heart. I loved my stay at the hotel and I can't wait to come back! As a solo female traveller I felt safe and was met with such kindness from the staff. Efcharistó polý

Very nice hotel with only a few little things that need improvement. The WiFi is terrible, and there doesn't seem to be enough seating at night for all guests, so people use the sunbeds around the main pool. Also, there should be another bar closer to the small pool for drinks, although the bar staff would carry your drinks on a tray if asked. Also, this is the first hotel I've been to that sticks to the no towels on the sunbeds before a certain time rule. They will move your towels every couple of days if you leave them out, although we noticed they didn't move everyones. Ours were taken away completely, so we had to wait until 10a.m to get new ones from the spa. My mother in law went to get them, and when she asked why they were taken and not others, the lady in the spa was pretty rude to her. Yes, these are the rules, but it should be the same for everyone. The room we had was OK and cleaned well every day. The best things about this hotel were the staff and the food. All the serving staff were very friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Also, the food was some of the best I've ever had at an all-inclusive hotel. There was plenty of choice every day, and their deserts were amazing. Overall, it's a good hotel that needs some improvement.

Very clean hotel and lovely staff! They even had a cold plate of cheeses, ham, bread, fruit and salad for us when we arrived late into the night, which was very thoughtful as the hotel restaurants/bar were all closed by that time. Great variety of food available at meal times and the pool area is cleaned regularly. There are also very nice and smart facilities to use onsite near the pool area including separate showers, changing rooms with hair dryers and toilets, which is very handy if later checkout isn't available for your room and your flights not due for another few hours. Great games room to amuse yourselves/kids with TVs, board games and books in lots of languages. 10/10 would stay here again, everything has been well thought out and taken care of, with a lovely gift of Greek thyme that you can grow yourself upon checkout, which was a nice touch

The best thing in this hotel is the restoran. The food is excellent, and in our 14-day stay here, there wasn't a single day that we felt bored with the choices, like in many similar buffet style restaurants. The employees are friendly and very quick in whatever needs to be done. Everyone smiles, no frowns. Especially the two ladies who are the managers of the restoran. The beach is great, the sea is beautiful. The rest of the hotel is nice, there is everything you need for a great family vacation. The animation is also very good. Kids felt welcome. Of course, there is room for improvement, like everywhere else. In my opinion, the rooms could be cleaner. The management could give the cleaning staff more time per room, in order to be more thorough.

I had a great vacation and time with my family in this hotel. Almost all the things were excellent: - Food and service - it was good to see a variety of cuisines as it's always difficult to avoid repetitive food in such places - Swimming pools and other facilities - Animators and activities (greetings for Mr Katastrofa and Tommy!) - Near to the sea and beach The room was OK, I'm not obsessed with rooms during vacation, and it was decent quality. I'd only improve minor things: - Room cleaning service was unpredictable in terms of cleaning hours and sometimes coming at the least expected moment ;) - Disinfecting hands before entering restaurant- pandemic seems to be over, isn't it? Overall, my daughter was so satisfied with this place that she'd like to come here next year as well ;)

This hotel is the ideal spot for a relaxing holiday in Greece. The kind staff, fun activities, and comfy rooms make it perfect for all visitors. It's great for couples, but families with kids will find it even better. We had a lovely holiday at Sol Marina Beach Crete. The hotel staff were the best part. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. They made our stay feel special and comfortable. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming. The rooms were big and restful, the perfect spot to relax after a day out. We have upgraded to the sea view rooms (would definitely recommend). There was plenty to do at the hotel, particularly for kids. Although we traveled as a couple, we could see that families had a great time there, and animators were always very attentive.

Great vacation at this resort. The Accommodation - nice and clean rooms. Ours, in the bungalow by the pool, fulfilled our needs perfectly well. The food - great cuisine and a different theme every evening certainly exceeded all our expectations and also its category of hotel. Especially dinner at the a la carte restaurant was also an experience, we recommend this to everyone, we enjoyed it. The Beach - the sandy hotel beach is next to the public beach, where you sometimes move for better access to the sea. The disadvantage may be that it is separated from the hotel by a local quiet road, but we didn't mind. The Staff - the overall good impression is completed by the kind and helpful staff from the people at the reception to the kitchen. Thank you for this. Some people may be bothered by the proximity of the airport and relatively frequent airplane flights, but mostly only during the day, it's quieter at night. Overall, we rate our stay positively and would have no reservations about spending our vacation here again.

The place is a little dated, but it's well kept and we did not have any issues while staying there. We were only there for a few days so we didn't spend time at the beach, and only ate at the buffet; the food was delicious, way above my expectations for a hotel buffet, a lot of varieties too! On my wife's birthday they brought us a bottle of Italian sparkling white wine and a cake, quite the surprise! Not that it was necessary as the buffet had everything we could need, but a nice gesture nonetheless! Entertainment at night didn't feel cheap like the resorts in the Caribbean. If it wasn't 8,000 km away from home, I would definitely return!

Lovely beach hotel in a fairly quiet (yet not remote) spot and with its own stretch of beach. Friendly staff make for a good time. Only downside was a lack of a hot vegetarian option at dinner. Omnivores however are spoilt for choice.

The Bella Beach Hotel in Crete is a charming all-inclusive resort. Our family enjoyed the stay, making use of the main pool and beautiful beach with convenient facilities. The room's private pool was a nice touch, and the staff, especially at the reception, were kind and helpful. However, the hotel feels somewhat dated and needs interior updates. Our room felt small and wasn't cleaned daily as expected. While clean, it could use a refresh, and the noisy A/C was a downside. Unfortunately, the quality of food at the main restaurant didn't meet expectations. Despite these issues, it's a good choice for families, though I hesitate to rate it as a 5-star hotel.

Stayed for 1 week August 23. 1st time visiting Greece, upon arrival we were upgraded to sea front room. A lovely spacious 1st floor room, complete with fridge, fabulous view to sea, good air-conditioning, extra touches toweling robe, slippers, shampoo, shower gel, bottle of water, tea and coffee making facilities. Food was amazing at all meals, either at main restaurant or Olive Tree restaurant, drink good, entertainment good. Couldn't fault inclusive. 5 star staff so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Little shop in hotel sell most things you may need at good prices. Short walk along the seafront path to other shops, bars etc. Land train excursions to Hersonissos recommended. I will be back.

Help! Where are the 4 stars? It's worth 2 at best... guaranteed camping atmosphere, but without any real nighttime entertainment, at 11 p.m. there is only the bar which becomes chargeable, no more music, no more entertainment.... The site is a little old and poorly maintained. The restaurant is not better, greasy, bad food and little variety. Only the local staff is really friendly and dedicated. As for the beach... fortunately there is another one not far away. Very disappointing experience!!! Fortunately the island is magnificent to visit.

We booked a family room for 1 week over Easter. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Hotel facilities were very good with plenty of different types of pools. The food and drinks were very nice and all the staff were super friendly. We caught two shows in the amphitheater and saw an acrobat do things that should not be possible. The main attraction is of course the beach which is literally a stones throw away and offers some stunning sun sets.

We stayed here as a family of 5 for a week and didn't want to leave. Kids enjoyed playing at the waterpark every day. My husband and I enjoyed a couples treatment at the spa. Entertainment at night was great for kids and families, the circus show was amazing. Not to forget, we all enjoyed a fish foot spa. Food was great and something different for lunch/dinner every day. Cocktails were very tasty. Staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff who remembered you and what drink you liked. Beds were comfortable and rooms were serviced everyday. Even a laundry where you can wash and dry your clothes at no cost if you do it yourself (need to pay for detergent). The only issue was not the resort's fault, but other guests who were not respectful/considerate by being loud or talking/laughing in hallways late at night outside our door.

Lyttos Beach is a great hotel. Our family stayed in early April 2024. The quality of food and drinks for the all inclusive was great, there were very few added extras. There are 5 restaurants, the main restaurant and taverna serving mixed buffet with daily specials, an oriental restaurant serving sushi and Chinese that needs to be pre-booked, a fast food style bar in the waterpark and a snack bar by the beach. All are buffet style. There are so many pools it's crazy. The water park was the kids favourite and was a good size with 8 main slides, a kids play park which looked great for the little ones and a lazy river. There were also 2 olympic size pools, 2 smaller pools and an indoor pool. Many of the rooms had private or shared pools too! Even in early April most days were around 22° and fine for sitting round the pools, the water was not too cold. I'd definitely recommend
