THE GOAT
I don’t normally do reviews on hotels, but I felt I have to on this one because it is so bad the first problem was when I checked in, and I was shown my room which I paid for a upgrade to a superior room when I first booked the holiday the room was unbelievably bad right above the bar with loud music playing so I asked if they had anything else and they said it’ll be another €400 euros for a different room which went down to €300 euros if I paid cash that hadn’t gone through the books, and without a receipt.
The room was much better, it had swim up pool which was shared with other apartments ,the pool was full of sand they had a storm the week before and it took them a long time to clean it.
I went to the gym, which in the photos online looked pretty reasonable, but the gym I was using was not the same as the photos if I would’ve known this I would have definitely not booked this hotel everything was out of date in there and dangerous.
Whilst I was there I left my partner back at the room and the guy was finally cleaning the Pool he couldn’t reach all the way with his hover to our side my partner popped in to get changed and then suddenly he appeared on our balcony which is only accessible by climbing across other balconies, and he was cleaning the pool I think he should’ve asked first.
My partner was quite shocked, because she was getting changed,
you have to pay for Wi-Fi which you have to put the code in nearly every day because it loses connection all the time.
Tv worked for the first night and then went off explained it to them and they said they will sort it but for the whole holiday, it did not come back on.
The food is shocking not much to choose from at all had to eat out most nights.
always cold, lots of flys around food.
Breakfast is about the only meal we would eat because you can’t really go wrong with eggs on toast or beans on toast that you had to warm up in the microwave.
On the last day I thought I’d try one last evening meal but that was a disaster , the pork I cut into was pink so I had to eat out once again
If you’re English, then the entertainment is nonexistent all the entertainment staff are French and only cater for them.
When they do put a bit of entertainment on which starts at 9:30 it’s things like bingo, and then when 10 o’clock comes, you have to start paying for all your drinks, which I’ve never had to do on all inclusive holidays
before.
There is a constant smell of sewage around certain parts of the hotel.
Also on leaving the only place to shower is beneath the reception there is only 2 toilets and showers which absolutely stink I found out the issue there’s rat traps in the corridor I think there must have been a dead rat , so that is why had had to pay extra to keep the room on for the day.
I only booked this holiday because of the reviews, sounded wonderful but not true pictures didn’t match up must have been old from when it first opened .
Now the good points I have two of them. The staff are really nice and friendly and the bed is nice and comfortable.
This hotel is nowhere near a four-star hotel and I wouldn’t stay here if you gave me a free holiday it is that bad?

They blast the music early in the morning as loud as possible to wake people up so their cleaning staff can go into the rooms. We called multiple times and complained about this issue and they say "yes, yes no problem" but they never rectify it. I'll never visit this place again.

My partner and I have came away from the hotel experience feeling conned, I wish we had done some more research before booking, yes, some images of the hotel online look great but what you need to understand is the hotel is very big has an old part and ALONG THE ROAD has a sister hotel of the same name!! So you’re booking under the assumption that you’re getting a lovely room but when you arrive exhausted in the middle of the night you’re (quite literally) lead up the garden path to the most dated duplicated room you’ve ever seen…. It was so bad it was comical! We went back to the reception to complain (we had also paid for a superior suite) we were told to come back to reception the next morning to speak to the manager who eventually agreed to move us to a different room. When we spoke to other guests who had the same experience it would appear that complaining works because they will move you when pushed! Just don’t settle! Too much of a headache to ever contemplate going back but the island is beautiful!

Had a great week at St Constantin. Room with a swim up terrace was amazing with great air con and very clean! Loved the shower and will miss it! Food was ok to good. Lots of choice but let down on quality occasionally. Drink was ok. Local beer was nice but the wines not so great. Lots of single use plastic and paper which I didn’t like and would have liked dedicated recycling facilities or use of reusable cups and plates.
Staff were amazing from the receptionists to the restaurant waiters, cleaners and the repair men. So friendly and they couldn’t do more to make sure you had a good time. Pools were clean and there were a number of them so never felt busy. Nice beaches within a few meters of the entrance with some nice snorkelling. Lots of local bars and restaurants within a short walk.
Hope to visit again soon!

Sure! Here's how you can structure your review in English, covering both the negative and positive aspects:
---
**Negative Aspects:**
Firstly, the food was quite disappointing. It was nearly the same every day, with very minimal changes from one day to the next. In fact, 90% of the food was identical, even for breakfast, which was exactly the same throughout the entire week we stayed.
On top of that, the taste of the food was not great; it felt like cafeteria food, made from the cheapest ingredients. In the snack bar and kids' food section, everything seemed to be made from frozen food, which isn't very healthy, especially for children.
Another downside was the ice cream. It was only available during the main meals, while in most all-inclusive resorts, you can usually find it at the snack bar as well, which is important considering the high temperatures when you need something to cool down.
The beer was okay, but the soft drinks tasted strange due to the tap water used. The alcoholic beverages and cocktails were clearly made from the cheapest spirits, and it was noticeable.
A major disadvantage was that you had to pay extra for Wi-Fi and for access to the safe, and these charges were on a per-day basis.
Accessibility was also a concern. If you're traveling with a young child or someone with disabilities, the access ramps are very difficult to use.
There were only two water slides, and they operated for just three hours a day—two hours from 11 AM to 1 PM and one hour from 5 PM to 6 PM.
Regarding room access, they only provide one key card, and if you need a second one, you have to pay for it.
The entertainment was heavily geared towards French speakers, which was a big disadvantage for non-French speakers. Moreover, there seemed to be a distinction between guests, as French guests had different colored wristbands, which felt like a form of segregation.
On the day of departure, they cut off our wristbands and restricted our access to the main meals, allowing only access to the snack bar.
Additionally, both the hotel reception and the restaurant where we had our meals were unbearably hot, as the air conditioning was not functioning.
**Positive Aspects:**
The only good things I can mention are related to the accommodation itself. The room conditions were decent, and while the cleanliness wasn't the best, it wasn't terrible either. The main issue seemed to be that the hotel was understaffed, and they couldn't keep up with the demand.
