The cleanliness was good, but I was disappointed by the lack of variety in the food. There were very few vegetarian options. The restaurant constantly had a strong smell, and it wasn’t the usual food smell — it was something else entirely, which made my children very uncomfortable. The staff at the bar were particularly aggressive, which was very unpleasant.
Honestly, this is not a holiday I would ever choose again. I came with my husband and two children, and unfortunately, it rained during the first two days of our stay. Although it was raining, the weather wasn’t severe, yet we were still unable to leave our room. I mentioned over the phone that we were really struggling and very hungry, and when I asked if we could order food to our room, I was told it would cost extra — despite the fact that walking outside was practically impossible.
We asked for umbrellas or any sort of rain protection to be able to get to the restaurant, but they said everything was currently in use and it would take some time. Waiting would have meant missing the meal entirely. I don’t believe the staff were genuinely interested in helping resolve the issue or supporting us during a difficult moment.

We were so excited about this holiday and all went well until we got to our room.
We booked a Sea View Superior Family room - paying extra especially so we could have a memorable experience - and was given a room right next to the road with trees blocking the whole sea view on one side. And like a building site/ waste on the other side. (Pictures for reference - and the other room types are standard/ garden view/ normal sea view etc) It is NOTHING like what it advertises on the website.
While the website states rooms could vary in layout etc and we totally understand. The discrepancy is unacceptable - given that we have paid extra to book this room type.
We spoke to front desk twice and asked the manager to get back to us if at all possible to change to another room we haven’t got a reply for the 2 days we stayed so far. Not an explanation, not to speak to us to understand more - basically we hear nothing.
It is our first time here and it was recommended by a friend. We were so ready to make this our annual trip with our little ones in the future if it turns out as great as it advertised but unfortunately will be looking somewhere else for the future. Purely based on the untrustworthy selling tactics.

Absolutely disappointing for a five-star hotel charging over €1,000 per night. Food quality is poor, buffet selection is limited, bread is hard, too much pork, and many dishes look and taste old. Guests even have to queue for breakfast – unacceptable at this level.
Service and facilities are equally weak: food scraps are left on the floor, sunbeds are unstable, furniture is worn and rusty, bar lighting relies on uncharged lamps, and drinks are of low quality. The so-called “sea view room” mostly faces a mountain.
Overall, this hotel is far from living up to the claim of being one of the best on Corfu.

My family and I had a fantastic time at Marbella Collection. I must admit, I was a little concerned before our trip due to some negative reviews I had read, but the moment we arrived, all of those worries disappeared. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained.
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always friendly, helpful, and professional. The food was delicious with plenty of variety to suit everyone’s tastes. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable.
The resort is incredibly family-friendly, with great facilities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. Our kids had a blast, and there was always something to keep them engaged.
We’re already planning to return next year! This place truly exceeded all our expectations!

Awful experience, avoid at any cost! We paid nearly £50k for a family of 11 summer holiday and experience was beyond unsatisfactory. We paid for full sea view rooms as advertised on their website, and got a partial and full car park view for other rooms. Staff are so untrained and rude. Absolutely no customer service. It has been advertised as 5 star but I wouldn’t even give them 3! You have to run after every staff to get a simple thing as shaving kit which is normal at any 5 star hotel. We came back at 6pm from the beach and our room was still not made, we even told the room service to clean our room before we left. Staff are under paid and not willing to provide any service. The only nice one we found was Eva at the beach who was so sweet and full of smile also Bruna at the bar who made us very nice cocktails and we named it after her. All in all, spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
