We stayed here for four nights three days, which was enough time for this hotel.
Location is beautiful, surrounded areas are very picturesque and everywhere is kept tidy and clean.
Staff were all accommodating and friendly.
We had a garden view room which was lovely, two twin beds pushed together but this was enough room for me and my partner, comfy beds aswell.
Beach beds are always available but we are at the beginning of the season so I'm not sure what this would be like during peak season. Fresh towels were available each day but they do leave a kind note in the room asking to resue your towels as much as possible as I kind gesture to the planet which is what we did. You can order straight to your sun bed on the beach which was handy and a nice touch to their service.
The breakfast buffet in the morning was great, lots of options to choose from.
Evening food we felt there could have been some more options available, one night we opted to pay for the evening buffet which was €40 a head, I would understand maybe €20 a head but not €40. For what the evening buffet offered we felt it didn't compare to the breakfast one but we still enjoyed what we picked out to eat but after this we mostly stuck to the room service menu, which is also the same menu available as one of their other restaurants on site. Again it would be beneficial to have a separate menu in your restaurant different to your room service menu but nevertheless we had enjoyed our meals.
In the morning there is a shuttle bus to take you into the old town close by and it brings you back for around 1:30pm, that's the only one they do so if you'd want the venutre out at a different time it will cost around €25 each way.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing and woild visit again.
Thank you 😊

Incredible hotel, almost perfect...
The hotel, staff, breakfast and facilities are incredible and it was almost a completely perfect hotel.
Negative:
Rooms have "adjoining" doors - perfect for families, as they seem to join double and twin rooms. The only issue is, the 2 woman in the next room to us were not family and the doors are very thin. We could hear every conversation they had (talking not shouting) Not sure if all floors have this but ours did and whilst out neighbours were not "Loud" we could hear every word and alarm throughout the night.
Positives: EVERYTHING else. The breakfast was amazing, huge variety and very fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is 10 minutes from town by car (I would recommend renting where you can). The beach was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable - we never saw the beds all taken.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel, most definitely.

The hotel is wonderful, with a beautiful view and an incredibly friendly staff.
There are three restaurants on the hotel property:
1. The main dining room inside the hotel
2. A chef restaurant located on the balcony
3. A Greek restaurant by the beach downstairs
We really enjoyed the food at all three locations. The views were amazing, and both the beach and pool areas were very clean and well organized.
The hotel itself is very clean, and every evening there is live music in the lobby. There was also music by the beach in the evenings, which created a great atmosphere.
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Kontokali Bay Resort enjoys one of the best locations in Corfu, with direct beach access, beautiful sea views, and convenient proximity to Corfu Town. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay.
That said, the property feels somewhat dated, particularly the rooms, which could benefit from refurbishment and modernization. Some facilities also felt out of touch with current luxury resort standards, especially the gym, which was quite limited and featured only one standard treadmill. While the resort may still be considered luxurious by some European standards, international travelers accustomed to more contemporary luxury offerings may find certain aspects of the property in need of updating.
Overall, while the location and warm hospitality were definite highlights, the resort would greatly benefit from updates to its rooms and facilities to match the expectations of today’s travelers.

A very pleasant hotel with happy, friendly staff, especially my chambermaid. I had a main building, sea view room. Nice view with plenty of storage. Thought bathroom was a bit basic. Shower floor tiles are slippery but hotel does provide a shower mat. Sink was a bit ‘contemporary’ in design as it was self draining (no plug) so was difficult to rinse through items like swimming costumes.
Breakfast in main restaurant provided a good selection. I have never seen such a big block of fresh butter from which you can carve out a portion!
Buffet dinner selection was also good.
No need for anyone to rush down at 6 am to reserve a sunbed as there are plenty around the site - beach, pool, garden and on a jetty.
There is a large beach and a smaller ‘quiet’ beach. Coarse sand with some gravelly areas but walkable bare foot.
There is a water sports area on site in a small harbour type area with speedboats and jet skis. It was very quiet during my visit but during the high summer months I expect it would get quite noisy.
Not sure this hotel would suit someone with mobility issues as it is quite a few slopes and lots of steps.
