Initial concern about scathing reviews really weren't necessary. Rooms are basic, with basic self catering amenities, room is a little dated but cleaned daily -fab balconies well thought through to capture full sun. Air con works but noisy. Rest of the hotel is lovely, staff are attentive, the whole place is clean and tidy.
Need to be mindful of times for all inclusive, however local bars and restaurants are really reasonable and delicious too to top up your stay.
There are plenty of sun beds to go around however some guests choose to use an additional bed as a table or use two beds to raise their bed- not considerate of others.
We had a great time and would stay again. Cheap cheerful and ticked the boxes.
Enjoy your hols wherever you choose!

Stayed here 10 days. Staff were overall friendly and location is perfect. The buffet food was nice with a good variety each day. However, the 1 bed room we stayed in was not cleaned properly upon arrival, there was a layer of dust on most surfaces. In terms of cleaning, there was none, we received fresh towels and the bins emptied by the cleaning staff but noticed they weren't actually cleaning anything. They also made the beds but didn't give us fresh sheets the whole time we stayed here and had to wear shoes inside as the floors were never swept or mopped. Wouldn't recommend or stay again purely because of this.

We have stayed here for the last 10 year and my wife and her family the last 25 years,
People seem to forget this is listed as a 3 star hotel and not 5 star.
Staff are fantastic and helpful the entertainment is amazing and the kids love it, the food is much better than other places we have stayed in Mallorca.
I would highly recommend this place especially if you book into ses cases the private apartments 😁

I guess you get what you pay for - we paid about £900 for small studio apartment - 7 nights inc flight (Ryan Air) & transfer (great transfer company) (then plus €90 for upgrade).
As we arrived into our hotel studio there was a distinct smell of mould and damp. We turned the air conditioning on as it was quite stuffy, after noticing the unit was leaking water, we then saw that the unit was full of mould.
We reported this to the reception straight away, we were told the room was just painted yesterday. They stated it could be fixed in 5 minutes.
Regardless whether it has been painted the mould could not have been caused overnight, as this looked quite thick and an extremely strong smell.
We were told to come back in the morning to see if there are any other rooms available, which we did. Arrived at the reception desk at 8am to be told the same thing; that the room will be cleaned and we will have to stay there. I asked if it is possible to change rooms or to be upgraded if no studios were available. We were offered an apartment room which was an extra €15 euros per night. Regrettably we paid this. The total cost was €90.
As someone who has lived in a house with mould before, I can undeniably state it is not solved in 5 minutes. With the horrendous smell of the mould when first entering the studio on our first night, it was definitely not created overnight.
In terms of the apartment we received, I do agree with what we initially paid for the holiday, (even though it was FALSELY advertised as a 4-star hotel, when in fact it is more like a 3-star), the state of rooms and hotel reflects the price paid.
I would like to say however, we did enjoy our holiday, as we decided to try look at the positives rather than the negatives (and there are a few to mention).
Negatives
1. All of the taps were thick with limescale (which I would assume is from the salt water coming out of the taps).
2. There were cracks and damages all over the furniture, bath tub and floor.
3. The fridge was precariously positioned on top of something.
4. The toilet seat was cracked making it difficult to sit on as it stuck into the skin when sat on. And moved every-time sat on.
5. The sun beds had seen better days (on the balcony and around the pool). A lot of them looked extremely dirty and most sagged in the middle.
6. The pools edges were a bit dirty and some of the drains were broken.
Some of the positives were:
1. The beds were very comfy.
2. We could use the bed type sun beds for €20 per day which I thought was reasonable.
3. The staff; cleaners and reception staff were friendly.
4. The apartment overlooked the pool.
5. The grounds of the hotel were pretty.
6. It had some good facilities: 3 pools, tennis court, football court; And the entertainment team were good and lots to choose from (although the entertainment at night started a bit late for our liking; Most started at 9:45pm /10pm).
7. Even though the edges of the pool were dirty the water was clean.
8. The hotel was close to the resort shop, restaurants and two beaches.
Again, just to reiterate, we did enjoy our holiday and made the most of it. Cala D’or is a lovely place, the beaches are pretty easy to get to from the hotel. However, unfortunately it just did not start the best and I do not feel the hotel management dealt with the situation appropriately.
It’s a fine hotel if you’re not too fussy and want a cheap holiday in the sun.

I definitely wouldn't come back. Not what we shown. We ended up in a studio with 2 single beds. On arrival we noticed blood stained sheets. Myself and husband went to reception and explained the situation. The staff were rude and practically threw 2 sheets at me. On arrival there was a guy in reception that told us if he were us he'd turn around and go back home. I thought he was just having some issues and we wouldn't experience the same problems. In honesty I wish I had never booked this hotel.
