Our vacation was an exceptional experience.
The rooms were impeccable and spotlessly clean.
The food was excellent, with a wide variety and high-quality ingredients.
Make sure to book a table at one of the four restaurants located within the hotel. We chose the Italian and the fine dining options, and I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised.
The staff were extremely polite and eager to assist.
I highly recommend it for families, as there are many activities for both children and adults, such as a water park, tennis lessons, swimming pools, and more.
I will definitely visit again.

The staff was very welcoming and polite.
Since we were traveling with a child and the weather wasn’t great, we asked if we could use the spa. They told us it was a relaxation area, so children were not allowed. Just a few seconds later, they added that we could use it if we paid €25 per person. So if you pay, it’s no longer a relaxation space and kids are no longer a problem? That didn’t sit right with us.
The food lacked flavor. There was plenty of it, but not much quality. The shrimp was undercooked throughout our stay.
Even though we put our trash in bags, the cleaning staff wouldn’t remove it unless we specifically asked them to. I kept finding it left in the room.
The pool in our residence had no staff to offer drinks or snacks during the day. So much for the all-inclusive experience.
At the beach, there was a place where you could get crepes, but they had no taste. Also, it doesn’t make sense to have to take a buggy all the way to the beach just to get a crepe when you’re relaxing by the pool.
That said, the place itself is quiet, beautiful, clean, and very comfortable—especially when traveling with young kids.
Evening activities were very low-energy, and the DJ played the same songs every night—it felt like we were stuck in a déjà vu.
Overall experience: 7/10

This was undoubtedly one of the best stays of my life. Honestly, it was an amazing vacation in an amazing place. The resort is massive, with plenty of space for all guests to enjoy—whether it’s the beach, pools, or numerous restaurants.
The all-inclusive package includes branded international alcohol and truly outstanding cocktails available throughout the resort. The hotel is very family- and child-friendly, featuring a great aqua park with both large and small water slides.
But the highlight for me was the garden—an expansive area filled with trees, palm groves, and lush grass. There’s even a small zoo! The word “Botanica” in the name is truly fitting.
Before coming, I read a few negative reviews about long queues at the bars. If waiting 3 minutes for a drink is considered too long, I really don’t understand those complaints. The staff are doing an excellent job, always smiling and in a great mood. All you have to do is wait a moment for your drink.
The food was delicious every day, with a variety of around 12 dishes including at least three types of meat, plus fish, seafood, loads of salads, fruits, and vegetables. And of course, pizza and pasta are available all day long. The resort also offers four à la carte restaurants that require advance booking. I wasn’t lucky enough to get a spot, but it wasn’t a problem—there was more than enough to enjoy.
For the kids, there’s an ice cream shop, a chocolate bar, a popcorn machine, and more.

An extremely beautiful part of Corfu, stunning location and the weather is perfect. The pools are clean and cool. Food is stunning and fresh everyday. First time in Greece and being a fussy eater I normally stick to what I know, I have tried local food and it is amazing apart from bacon, that's never the same as home though. Highly recommend to any family who doesn't want a really busy hotel and pools.

Hotel Botanica – Honest Review
Pros:
- The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful – the grounds are really well kept and you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping it clean and tidy.
- The vast majority of the staff were genuinely lovely, friendly and hardworking, which really made a difference day to day.
- The beach area combined with the beach bar was perfect – a great spot to relax with a drink in hand.
- There’s a really good choice of food and drinks across the resort. The main restaurants, the beach bar, even the crepes stand were all spot on.
- Special shoutout to Orfeas at the cocktail bar and Vasileia in the Asian restaurant – they were absolutely amazing and our favourite staff by far!
Cons:
- The evenings had next to nothing going on. If you’re looking for entertainment or a bit of nightlife, this is really not the place – there just wasn’t much happening after dinner.
- Most of the daytime activities either weren’t on, or barely anyone was taking part – for example, things like darts would only have one or two people involved. It felt like there could’ve been a bigger push to make these things more engaging.
- The buffet restaurant staff were quite hit and miss – often abrupt or flustered, offering drinks then either forgetting about them altogether or taking ages to bring them out. A few came across a bit rude and seemed annoyed to help, which was a shame compared to the lovely staff elsewhere.
Summary:
If you’re a family with kids who mainly want a beautiful setting and somewhere easy to relax, Hotel Botanica is a pretty good option. But if you’re a couple or travelling without kids and want more to do in the evenings or during the day, I’d probably look elsewhere. Some really simple touches and a bit more effort with entertainment would have made this so much better.
