I want to warn all of you, stay away from Gardelli resort. Zakynthos itself was amazing and we are glad that we visited this beautiful island! ♥️ I would expect something better from hotel that presents itself as a 4 star, I should have read more reviews. We got our room 3 hours after arrival which is quite normal, whatsoever the room was not cleaned properly. The floor was dirty, bathroom sink was dirty as well. But worst of all we got mattress that smelled like piss, and it has yellow piss stain. The guy at the reception claimed he could not smell or see that, it was disgusting and they had to know it because anyone would notice it while changing the sheets. He refused to give us another room so he changed the mattress for another one (due to that we had height difference on the mattresses and it was like sleeping on bunk beds🤣) The food was not that good as well, sunbeds on the beach were 20€ a day/ on the grass 15€ a day. (And one of their pools looked like it was for frogs🤣) I just wanted to warn you all to stay away from this place 😊 We rented a car and visited amazing places so after all we are glad we visited this island, but the experience with this hotel was the worst.

read this if you are actually interested in this hotel and experience in that. so to start of this hotel is deffinently not 4 stars. Please do not be fooled by the pictures it is actually nothing simular. The rooms are small and dirty, you do not get hygiene products restocked. There is no wardrobe and a mirror where you can see your full body. Coming to all inclusive packet please do not buy this. This is deffinently not all inclusive. Maybe you can say this is all inclusive but service not included. You have to walk yourself from the sunbeds to the bar by passing a pool and a road, because the bar near you is the bar where the people pay extra,the food is ok, nothing special , not a lot of choice, but whatever this is the smallest problem. (All though the ,,snack bar” is not it)The hotels sistem is interested in making money and they do not pay attention to the all inclusive customers that already paid in advance. All they do is serve the extra people that will pay them more money. The difference of pizza you get as an all inclusive guest and paying extra is undescribable. So the last drop that beated the **** out of me is that we waited for a pizza for an hour . First of all you wait 30 min to order than 30 min for the pizza, then you come and ask where is it and they say its finished . That guy working in the snack bar is a total psychopath , he gets annoyed easily, throws pans and etc. We wanted to talk to the manager but it was also complicated, first night she wasn’t there , the next two days she was sick. So when we finally came to talk to her , she was just rude and defending herself , not paying attention to what we are saying , she said that is is normal in Greece. She is simply pointless and arrogant not even trying to fix anything , claiming you and arguing . She says that as the way this hotel is working is really a standard for all inclusive. That they don’t need to serve you drinks thru out the meals and you have to wait in the line. She also mentioned that this is the governments rules. It does not matter that there is 4 girls standing and doing nothing. Also the staff were dirty like no tomorrow , it was disgusting to look at their pants. I would never ever in my life come back to this hotel . We paid 400 euros per night per room (2 people). I am writing this cause i care that no one on this planet is wasting their holidays like we did . There are a lot of beautiful restaurants and tavernas that is affordable and served very very nicely. So you rather buy a decent room for 80-100 euros and spend money on really worthy drinks and meals . If you come here you’ll be fooled the photos are a total scam. So please just for your own well-being stay away from this hotel.

One of my favourite holidays so far. Everything was perfect. We was worried by the other reviews. However don’t let this affect your visit, because I don’t agree with them. We had a lovely room. Balcony with our own pool!!!! Incredible!!! The hotel was very clean, staff was very professional, and generally lovely. The food was different every night. There was always something for me& im a fussy eater! Potato’s was incredible! The pool was lovely, and clean loads of sun beds too. Which was perfect. The beach was on the door step which was beautiful. And also the night life was amazing! Only five min walk away. Perfect location. I will be booking to come back !😊

The hotel is amazing! The location of the hotel is 10/10, a few steps away from the beautiful sandy beach. To the main street of the city very close along the beach or along the street. The size of the hotel is just right, it is not huge but big enough to be able to offer a good level of service. We received a triple room with a terrace and sea view, we could watch the sunrise without going outside, and the sound of the waves while sleeping was a great feeling :). Was well cleaned every day. The room as well as the entire hotel is fairly new and the design is stylish and modern. A huge plus is that there are many locations to rest and relax. During the day, there was never a problem with a place on the beach with free sunbeds with mattresses and an umbrella, and by the pool, no one booked them at the beginning of the day, there was simply no need for it. When it comes to eating, it was often repetitive, but during the meal we could always choose what is tasty for us. In the all-inclusive option, there was something to eat during practically the whole day. The quality of drinks and alcoholic drinks surprised us very much, very tasty and the percentage % 😉 In addition to what was on the menu, we could ask the bartenders to create a different mix. However, the biggest advantage of this hotel is the staff. During our stay, we had contact with bartenders, waitresses, receptionists and the hotel manager. Everyone, without exception, very nice, helpful, smiling and professional. We had the opportunity to talk in several languages, several people from the staff spoke even in Polish (during our stay most of the guests were from Poland). I read some negative reviews before arriving and I am surprised because either some things were exaggerated or we didn't meet with them. We are really pleased with the rest at Gardelli Resort. If we go to Zakhyntos again, it will probably be the same place. I recommend.

Overpriced, dirty, rooms have a lot of damage or non functional items, bathroom are even worse! It seems like they were in a hurry to open and nothing was finished. The pools are also not maintained and dirty, plus missing plumbing parts and can be a hazard for kids. Food and drinks are a joke, so if you go for the all-inclusive pack you you will have to go somewhere else for a decent meal or pay extra for better drinks.
