A great place for a family with children. Very good location, near the beach. The sun lounger on the beach is paid extra, but in my opinion it was fine. Otherwise I couldn't use it. This was the case in the hotel where everything was "booked" by the guest's towels :(
Good quality and fresh food. Not the best restaurant, but I wasn't disappointed. The hotel rooms are of a good standard, they are clean and service can be done daily.
One downside is very personal and relates to smoking. Smoking is allowed almost everywhere which conflicts with the child friendly policy.

We loved this beautiful hotel, amazing pool area to relax in and on a lovely beach. The pictures didn’t do it justice in our opinion - amazing decor and ambience 😍When our arranged transfer to the airport didn’t come Mr Ionnas on reception was very quick to help us and stayed with us to ensure we were well looked after, thank you sir!
The only slight disappointment was the variety in the food and drinks offered with the A/I service, definitely not to the standard we’ve had elsewhere.
Friendly staff and beautiful location, the main town is walking distance :)

It's a really great Resort especially for families with children. There is a Mini Club which is open from 11.30 to 21.30. The animators are wonderful and offer a lot of simple but fun games for kids. Boys and girls who are older than 5 years can stay there alone. The kids pool is also so much fun for children. It's possible to borrow a stroller.
The food is delicious and there is plenty of choice. You can eat warm meals from 10:30 to 21:30. Either im the Snack Bar Corner where you not only get tasty pizza and Hot Dog but also fruits, muffins or ice cream. When you have booked 'all inclusive" you get also some cocktails and mocktails for free.
Besides you can book various trips in the hotel for example to Elafonissi which costs 30€ and takes a whole day.
There are two mini markets in the street of the resort. At the beginning of this road you will also find a local supermarket with a bakery.
For washing 6 kg of clothes you pay 18€.

My family and I recently stayed at Dimitrios Village Hotel, and we had a pleasant experience overall. The warm welcome and helpfulness of the staff made us feel right at home. The hotel is set in a nice location, creating a pleasant atmosphere for our stay.
While there were many positive aspects, I would like to highlight a couple of areas for improvement. The main restaurant at the hotel had limited choices and lacked variety in the meal options. Additionally, there was a limited selection of beverages available, which could be expanded to cater to different preferences.
One aspect that initially impacted our experience was the cleanliness of the rooms. In the first few days, the housekeeping was subpar, and the attitude of the cleaning staff was unpleasant. However, after reporting the issue to the reception, Mr. Yannis promptly addressed the situation and replaced the housekeeper with Kristina. From that point on, we noticed a significant improvement in the cleanliness of our rooms.
On the positive side, the rooms were spacious and provided ample space for our family. However, I did notice that there was room for improvement in terms of soundproofing. Enhancing the acoustic insulation would be a valuable addition to enhance the overall comfort of the stay.
Overall, I would recommend Dimitrios Village Hotel, particularly for large families and shorter stays. The friendly and helpful staff, combined with the comfortable rooms (once the cleanliness issue was resolved), create a welcoming atmosphere.

Despite the fact that we had paid all inclusive, the hotel charged fees for e.g. for beach towels, a fee of €7 per umbrella per day. We also paid for a bottle of water- 1L of clean bottled water €1.50. The whole time there was no wifi access for iOS devices in the room. In our room, water was dripping from the shower onto the toilet when the supply was closed and the floor was therefore wet and slippery. In addition, after four days of staying in the room, the electricity stopped working and after about 4 hours of trying to fix it, they gave us another room. However, the new door cards were programmed not for the rest of the stay but only for one day, therefore the day- after we got the new room- we couldn't open the door.
