My recent stay at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana was nothing short of spectacular.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The entertainment provided was top-notch, and Cristina and Black Diamond in particular, was an absolute delight. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and their interactions with the kids showed immense patience and a genuine love for what they do. Watching them dance and sing with the guests truly added a special touch to our experience. Not to mention, the food in all restaurants was outstanding, and the service was impeccable especially Ricardo at the Buffet. Whether it was a casual meal at the buffet or a fine dining experience, every bite was a delight.
The resort itself is a paradise on earth. The beauty of the surroundings, combined with the luxury of having a swim-out room, created a serene and idyllic atmosphere. Our room's convenient location by the main pool allowed us to be in the heart of all the fun and excitement, ensuring that we never missed a beat.
Overall, our time at the Majestic Colonial was unforgettable. The staff's dedication, the exceptional entertainment, and the beauty of the resort made our stay a dream come true. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and fun in Punta Cana.

Perfect holiday for a family or individual who want to chill and relax. Staff are amazing all over the place. Couldn’t wish better service. Animation team brilliant Candela is a lovely person thanks for everything , restaurant staff amazing. This is the place where is everything perfect. Room could be better however you don’t spend much time in the room only for sleep and shower or maybe jacuzzi as the rooms has jacuzzi. Pools are brilliant with 2 built in jacuzzi, plenty of space around the pools and sun loungers. This place is a paradise.

This is definitely in our top ten best destinations and places to stay. The staff are the friendliest we have ever experienced. Sandy on the entertainment team was so much fun and was always keeping everyone happy! Our wait staff, Jean Carlos, Jesus, Juan, Ricardo and many others were so nice and made us feel at home. We will definitely come back and would highly recommend this place!

Firstly, I would like to state the positives about our stay at this resort, which include:
- Housekeeping and Room Service did a great job. We always had what we needed and our room was always nice and clean.
- Rolando who is a manager at the steakhouse/seafood restaurant is an absolute gem of human. He was incredible and I wish him all the success in the world - he deserves nothing less.
- the bartender on the club side of the beach, named Fernando, was also unbelievable. Same can be said for him.
- the beach and pools were beautiful.
- the grounds were beautiful.
Now, the cons:
- in general, staff do not seem very attentive and in many cases can be quite rude. In particular, the hostess/greeter and the steakhouse/seafood restaurant and bartenders at said restaurant and the main lobby bar were horrible. They were tipped well and treated with respect but still were smug and even made faces at times. It was not great. My experience in Mexico was vastly different - staff there were much much better.
- with the exception of the steakhouse/seafood restaurant, Japanese and seaside buffet, the food sucked.
- there was a gross sewage smell throughout the resort.
- AC in the room was garbage.
- the towel guy by the club pool was a dick.
- the vendors they brought in for the Dominican market were awful, harassing us and even grabbing us and pulling us to their stations. It was uncomfortable.
- everyone raves about the butlers, but really, what do they even do? Our butler made us two reservations and we tipped him but that was it. I don’t understand how people give them 100-200 bucks. Our butler would often disturb us at the beach and linger for nothing as if he wanted a tip. It was a little annoying.
- check in was supposed to be great for club members but it sucked. It took a lifetime because our butler took forever to come get us. The room smelt bad and was so hot and the food in there looked disgusting and there were flies on it.
- the club lounge smelt like a toilet.
Overall, it wasn’t an horrible experience, but we will not be back.

This was our first time on vacation and we had a blast!! Rooms are clean, staff is amazing and friendly as well as helpful!! The beach and pools were awesome.
Entertainment team was amazing!! My kids especially enjoyed there time with Luis and Carlos .. They made their experience even better. Shout out to our butler Darrel he was awesome.
Food was excellent, drinks were awesome!! We will definitely be back😊 Thank you so much for the fun times!
