My family and I stayed at Majestic Colonial Punta Cana for 7 days and overall, we had a great experience.
The positives:
The food and drinks were definitely highlights of our stay. We especially enjoyed the dinners at the Japanese and French restaurants — the quality and flavor exceeded our expectations. The staff throughout the resort were always in a good mood and ready to help. A special shout-out to Fernando at the beach bar (Club section – adults only) and Stacy at the French restaurant for their outstanding service. The cocktails were fantastic, the pool was beautiful, and the room was always very clean and well maintained.
The negatives:
We didn’t feel like having a butler made a significant difference in our experience. Also, check-in was chaotic — no one seemed to know what was going on, and there was a long delay in getting our room keys, even though we paid for an exclusive service. Another downside is the noise at night. Since many areas of the resort operate almost 24 hours, it can get loud with people walking through the halls and talking loudly, which made it hard to sleep sometimes.
Despite a few issues, we recommend Majestic Colonial and would definitely return for another stay!

We had a lovely time during our stay. The weather was beautiful the food and drinks were good and the service was amazing. We were a group of 10, Edith was our butler and she was excellent and extremely approachable. The pool activities and foam parties were so much fun!! The Nightlife was also so much fun and entertaining. Will definitely come back!

My recent stay at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana was nothing short of spectacular.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The entertainment provided was top-notch, and Cristina and Black Diamond in particular, was an absolute delight. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and their interactions with the kids showed immense patience and a genuine love for what they do. Watching them dance and sing with the guests truly added a special touch to our experience. Not to mention, the food in all restaurants was outstanding, and the service was impeccable especially Ricardo at the Buffet. Whether it was a casual meal at the buffet or a fine dining experience, every bite was a delight.
The resort itself is a paradise on earth. The beauty of the surroundings, combined with the luxury of having a swim-out room, created a serene and idyllic atmosphere. Our room's convenient location by the main pool allowed us to be in the heart of all the fun and excitement, ensuring that we never missed a beat.
Overall, our time at the Majestic Colonial was unforgettable. The staff's dedication, the exceptional entertainment, and the beauty of the resort made our stay a dream come true. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and fun in Punta Cana.

This was my first time ever visiting Punta Cana and staying at an all inclusive resort & I just wanted to first start off by saying what an AMAZING experience I had! When someone asks what I loved about my stay at the Majestic Colonial, I always start off by saying that the staff were my favorites! The ones I got to know & love dearly were Candela, Jose, and Erianny! Their inviting personalities made my stay well worth it and I enjoyed seeing their bright smiling faces everyday. They were attentive, friendly, and bubbly. Candela’s energy with the entertainment was infectious and you couldn’t help but join in all the activities she hosted. Jose was a great ball of energy and was a good vibe all around. I couldn’t wait to see Erianny at the buffet because she is such a sweetheart and her service was always exceptional! You can tell that the people who work here thoroughly enjoy their job and meeting new people. My stay from day one was the best and I really liked the entertainment they provided from the foam party, to the white party, and the silent disco. There was always something to do for everyone so you were never bored. The food at the buffet was always really great and I loved how there was something for everyone. I already miss being at the resort and it’s only been a couple of weeks since I left, but I can confidently say that I will definitely be visiting again soon! Thank you to everyone at Majestic Colonial for providing such an exceptional and lasting impression. I would highly recommend anyone who’s interested in traveling to the Dominican Republic to not hesitate and book the trip!

We had the BEST time here we are planning to come back next year!! The room was beautiful and the beds were so comfortable (and trust me I’m picky). The food was also very good for an all inclusive!! There’s different food stations and restaurants to choose from. The steak restaurant was SO good you def need to try the ribs, and the hibachi was excellent as well! Drinks were good, service was excellent, beach was very clean, our butler Jesus was SO incredibly nice and went out of his way to talk to us everyday and help with anything we needed, he really made our trip! I love all the kittens around they’re so cute and I love that the resort doesn’t treat them poorly. Compared to the last resort we stayed at this blew it out of the water!! Staff was so much fun and was just so helpful I couldn’t recommend this resort more!!
