We spent ten wonderful days at this beautiful 5-star resort in the Dominican Republic and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease — the entire property is well-maintained, welcoming, and perfect for relaxation.
Culinary Highlights:
The food was absolutely outstanding. From the breakfast buffet to the lunch and dinner options, everything was varied, fresh, and incredibly delicious.
Beautiful Beach & Great Facilities:
The beach was simply stunning — wide, clean, and truly picturesque. There were always plenty of loungers and Bali beds available, so finding a comfortable spot was never a problem.
Exceptional Service:
A special thank you goes to our butler Alex, who was always warm, attentive, and quick to assist with any small requests we had. Her thoughtful support made our stay even more enjoyable.
We would also like to highlight the amazing bar staff:
Minerva and Carlos at the adults-only pool bar, who were incredibly friendly and took wonderful care of us.
Fernando and Lloyda at the beach bar, who greeted us every day with a smile and provided fantastic service and great drinks.
Marino at the Piano Bar also made us an amazing good by cocktail as we were checking out!
A Small Note on Restaurant Service:
While the overall experience was excellent, we did notice that service in the restaurants could at times be a little slow or not fully attentive. This didn’t overshadow our stay in any way, but with just a bit more consistency, the dining experience would be truly perfect
Conclusion:
A truly perfect vacation with excellent food, a breathtaking beach, and an exceptionally kind and dedicated team. We can wholeheartedly recommend this resort and would love to return in the future!

We stayed here for over a week for our destination wedding and we are so happy we made the decision to have it here. The resort is huge and the grounds are beautiful. We stayed in Colonial but the other 2 are a walkable distance if you wanted to explore. The food! The food was really good for resort food, especially the hibachi and Italian food on the Elegance side, and the Hibachi and buffet in colonial. The drinks are strong and tasty, and I love the amount of bars throughout the resort especially on the beach and near the pools. Pools and beach were also well maintained. Our wedding coordinator, butler, and other staff were so kind and attentive, and our wedding was just beautiful. Only complaint would be the management lack of communication when things like transportation, laundry, room service, etc were needed, and the wait for towels by the pool. Overall, it was a beautiful trip and would return!

Loved the resort. Very clean. Very nice and hardworking staff. Food was fantastic. It has all the amenities you could want. A standout was Carlos, our bartender at the Club side of the beach. He was friendly, very good at his job, and made us feel welcome. Will come back to this resort for sure.

Our trip to Majestic Colonial was absolutely unforgettable thanks to the amazing staff who made our stay 10x better!
From the moment we walked in, Marisol greeted me with so much love and warmth — she even placed a beautiful mapola flower on my ear, making me feel the tropical vibe right away. She treated me with the kind of care that felt like a mother’s love, and that truly touched my heart.
Our servers Cristian, Richardo, and others were just incredible — always so kind, funny, and attentive. They made sure our drinks were always perfect (never too strong, just right!) and even decorated our table before we arrived. Every meal came with smiles, laughter, and great vibes.
I 100% recommend Majestic Colonial — not just for the beautiful resort, but for the people who make it so special. The service, the energy, and the love they put into what they do made our trip one we’ll never forget. ❤️🌺🍹
Our butler Samuel Enrique went above and beyond our expectations! From the very start, he made sure everything was perfectly planned and taken care of — we never had to ask for a single thing. All of our reservations and room services were arranged in advance, and he constantly checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable and happy. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay absolutely unforgettable. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

It is our 2d time in this Hotel and we loved our stay in Majestic Colonial so much that we will definitely come again. The rooms are perfectly ok, the beds are comfortable and you have enough space in the wardrobe to keep your stuff clean and organized. The Food is AMAZING! Even if one wasn‘t hungry anymore one just couldn‘t resist „overeating“ because everything was so tasty! Fish and meat BBQ every day, different salads, cheese plates, fresh juices.. I want to be honest - we will really miss this! Yummy, high quality and addictive each day, whole day! People and Service are motivated, friendly and enjoy what they are doing! Ramires and Kilsi at the Beach Bar of Colonial were so cool! Ramires made us Perfect Cocktails, smiling, dancing, bringing joy and good mood! Making our vacation even more unforgettable! Of course also beautiful Long carribean Beach with Blue-green water. Whats a wonderful time!
