Everything has been awesome
All the services offered were so good! We went to every show…very entertaining and fun. The interaction with the crowd was fun. David was a great emcee. Diego was great with all the activities on the beach. All the employees were very friendly and accommodating. I had an issue with my room a/c but was resolved immediately. And the next day I had a special gift delivered to my room for the inconvenience. Very much appreciated. Loved it all!!!

During our six-day stay, housekeeping skipped our room on one of the days, which was disappointing, as daily cleaning is a basic service expected at a hotel of this level.
As for the food, the buffet does not offer a wide variety of options, but the dishes available were flavorful and of acceptable quality, including the drinks. While the selection could be expanded, what is offered meets a reasonable standard.
The beach location is excellent, with easy and convenient access both from the rooms and other common areas. It was very comfortable to enjoy the beach without long walks or logistical challenges.
It’s worth mentioning that as national tourists, we have noticed on past visits a difference in the level of service between international and local guests. However, this time we did feel welcomed and treated warmly, which we truly appreciate. That said, there is still a noticeable preference in attention and service for international visitors.
The nightly entertainment has improved and now feels more varied and enjoyable. However, the instructions and hosting in English are quite limited, and we recommend hiring staff with stronger English-language skills, especially considering the large number of international guests.
In summary, the hotel provides a good overall experience, with strengths in food flavor, location, and accessibility. Still, it has key areas to work on, particularly daily room maintenance and ensuring equal, high-quality service for all guests, regardless of their origin.

It’s been a few months since my family of 13 went on vacation, and after reflecting a little bit, I just have to rave about how accommodating this resort is for a huge group of people. The workers there also remembered our names and were very friendly! Beach volleyball was a blast if you didn’t have anything going on. There was more to do than I expected, we stayed busy the entire time, although if you wanted to relax you could do that as well. I think if you just know you want to go somewhere warm for a vacation, this is a perfect spot. Also it was not very loud or rowdy at night, which was nice.

Before you get shocked by the 3 star rating let me start by saying this…. It was very hard to give this place a 3 star. This is a magnificent resort with great workers but in order to help them become better, I need to address some important things that will help future guest
Pros:
- The beach: enjoy having a crystal clear water with NO SARGASM! This part of Mexico isn’t affected by it and it led to amazing water in our 8 days here! The water was calm and extremely easy to swim in. Bring your snorkels/goggles as you will see plenty of fish, a couple of star fish and other marine life!
- the grounds: and space are absolutely beautiful and very well maintained, there is a great combination of modern and rustic touches throughout , the grounds staff make sure everything is well taken care of. The 2 pools plus the kids section are large, never felt crowded and the water was always crystal clear
- The staff: all of the staff are very friendly and welcoming , especially the bar staff and entertainment
Cons:
- The management/operations can use some help. For the buffet, there’s always a search for plates and cups, a lot of food is always out and doesn’t get replenished in the time you would normally wait for new food to come out.
- open/close times: the pools close at 8, the pool bar at 5, the bar by the pool at 10, would be a better guest experience for more consistency with their times. They also “close” the beach, which to me is ridiculous, no late night stroll down the beach, not even to sit on the lounge chairs , but yet the dance club is going on till 1:30AM, which leads to my last negative thing about the resort
- The Disco / Dance club: our biggest annoyance with our stay is the disco/dance hall, we don’t mind people partying and having fun, we attended it multiple times but the main issue is that it’s very poorly sound proofed so it makes it to where the whole resort hears the music and feels the bass until they are done, making it hard to some peaceful sleepy before 1:30AM
But in the end, would we come back? Absolutely! The pros definitely outweigh the cons and our next stay we will be better prepared to deal with the cons and enjoy our stay even more

We booked a day pass to Allegro Resort while on a cruise. We have never been to Mexico and did not know what to expect. From the time we arrived to the time we were walking out of the resort the whole staff treated us like family!! Luis, the bartender, took care of us! He never let us go without a drink & even engaged with my kids and had them explore non-alcoholic tasty drinks!! David, also was so so fun!! He really took the time to get to know us and make our time there wonderful! The pools were beautiful, the beach was even more beautiful, the drinks were delicious, we got to see iguanas, which was so cool!! The food was divine! Such clean and home like resort!! The price was also very considerable for all that is included! We had so much fun and will definitely be back if we are ever in the area!! Thank you!!
