I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. One of the highlights was dining at the on-site Asian restaurant—Santiago and Ricardo took great care of us and made the experience truly memorable with their attentive and friendly service.
We also had an incredible dinner at the Bloved restaurant. The food was outstanding, and Antonio absolutely went above and beyond—his recommendations, warmth, and attention to detail really made the evening special.
Highly recommend this hotel for both the accommodations and the exceptional dining experiences!

Service was exceptional from the beginning Nelson and Luis greeted us with a welcome drink. They were both always in the lobby when we wanted to leave the area and made sure to get us round trip taxis to make sure we were back safely. Room was perfect, air conditioning worked great and cleaning staff was there everyday. Food was also excellent, the buffet was so good there were new options everyday. And the restaurants on resort needing reservations were easy to make and provided a different environment in each one. The hibachi was super entertaining and the food was delicious. The beach and pool were always clean and not over crowded. And theres shops, restaurants and the marina just a short walk from the resort. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly, I would 100% go again!

My stay at the Hotel Catalonia Riviera Maya was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure every moment of our vacation was perfect.
What truly made my whole family and friends stay so exceptional was the amazing entertainment team! They brought so much energy, fun, and heart into everything they did, turning every day into a new adventure. A very special shout-out to Irving and Kevin! These two went above and beyond to make sure our time there was not only enjoyable but truly unforgettable. Whether it was poolside games, evening shows, or just chatting with us, they brought so much joy and personality.
I left with memories I’ll cherish forever! I really can't thank Irving and Kevin enough for making our week so special. Hopefully I can convince my parents to take us back to this awesome resort!

Had a great trip. Everything is nice and close, food was great. We came in May so the beach was closed due to seaweed. Mini Club for kids was good for our 7 year old. Georgina was amazing and babysat so my wife and I could have a quiet dinner. She braided her hair and did crafts with her, thank you Georgina!

Great location, we enjoyed our stay. We were technically there in the "off" season (mid-May). The first half of the week was really quiet then got busier over the weekend. There seemed to be a lot of locals staying for the weekend so we took that as a good sign. Originally we were taken to one of the little villa rooms but the bathroom had a leak, we were promptly moved to another room in the larger more hotel-like section, the room was nice, a bit dated and lacked some overhead lights but clean and quiet. No trouble getting a sun lounger everyday. The beach did have quite a bit of seaweed washing ashore, but you could access the other end to get into the ocean. We did have some issues booking the restaurants, we only managed to get three bookings for the 7 days, but the buffet was great, lots of choices. Despite this we managed to get dinner at the burger place without a reservation, twice. Great service from all the staff, notably Rosa in the mexican restaurant, Ana at the spa, Alfonso in the sports bar and Alberto at the burger restaurant.
I would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Catalonia Riviera Maya.
