From the moment we arrived at Sentido Caribbean in Soma Bay, Hurghada, our bags were taken care of, and we were warmly escorted to our room. Throughout our stay, the staff always held the doors open for us. At breakfast, we were treated to fresh orange juice and flowers on the table, and the service was always attentive and friendly. The shuttle service to the beach was seamless, and at dinner, we could enjoy meals at the Italian and French restaurants, where we were always warmly welcomed and had a lovely table prepared for us. Overall, our stay was simply fantastic! Thank You for everything. We cant wait to come back in spring.

Hotel with the Best Beach on the Red Sea This was my fourth time staying at the Caribbean, but unfortunately, I think it will also be the last. The beach is absolutely beautiful – one of the best on the Red Sea. However, the food quality has declined compared to previous years. The selection is very limited, with almost the same menu every day. There are many different types of cakes, but they all taste very similar – dry and unremarkable. The fruit selection is good, but if you come to the restaurant later, the choice becomes very limited. On the positive side, the service is excellent. The waiters, staff, and animation team are all wonderful – friendly, polite, and always smiling. One big disappointment was upon arrival. We got to the hotel late, around 1:30 AM, and unlike in previous years, there was no dinner provided. At the reception, they promised to send food to our room for free, since we are VIP guests, but it never happened. Another small downside is that the music on the beach is sometimes too loud. Overall, the hotel is nice, with its pros and cons, but next year we will definitely not be coming back.

A nice hotel by the beautiful sea with friendly service. We had an amazing vacation with our family. We enjoyed it very much. The staff was very accommodating. We had a beautiful room that was always perfectly clean. There was always something we liked to eat in the dining room. The waiters were smiling and brought our drinks right away. The evening program was very entertaining for both adults and children (we were amazed by the Arabian night). The sea was beautiful and clean. I definitely recommend it and thank you all very much.

This place is amazing! Worth visiting. I really miss it. Staff was great! Animation team was one of the best things there! The beaches are clean! The aqua park with the slides is super fun! Rooms were amazing. I hope i come back one day.

First time I visited and last. Here are all the problems that we had during our stay. The room had one METAL BED! and two normal ones. We went to reception complain 3 times and took them 2 days to change it. They gave as 2 towels even tho room is for 3 persons. They never change glowes for 2 hours until breakfast/lunch/ dinner is over.... They serve only 5 free cocktails and every person makes them different. Constantly begging and bothering people at beach even tho we told them we don't want any of stuff they offer.... Interior is old in rooms and haven't change probably 15 years. Workers that work in restaurants stinks and every time they pass you can smell it. The kitchen and place where they prepared food is dirty and better not to look at. They prepared same cakes every day for 7 days.... We had to drink medicine every day in the morning so we don't get bad stomach.... This was 5 star hotel 15 years ago. The beach, pools and sea nice and clean.

Pros: •Exceptional Staff: Eva, the yoga instructor, is a true ray of sunshine – super funny and energetic. The staff in general are incredibly agreeable, with special mentions for Mahmoud at Soma Bar, the helpful gym attendant, and the kind gentleman at the beach towel stand (the one with the moustache!). •Beautiful Location: The beach is absolutely stunning. •Food: Good fresh products at the buffet (salads, waffles, omelets, bananas). •Great Amenities & Service: Water fountains are available, housekeepers provide daily bottled water. I greatly appreciated being able to get a lunch voucher after checkout and stay at the hotel until my evening flight. An ATM is also on-site. Cons: •Unreliable Wake-up Call: Do not count on the reception for an early morning wake-up call (e.g., 4 AM), even if requested the night before. •Solicitations: Frequent offers from spa/diving center staff even while relaxing on the beach. •Food: Beyond the fresh products, the general buffet food was not great. Breakfast boxes for excursions were also quite light. •Zoning Issues: The adult/family section division was not respected. •Expensive Pharmacy: On-site pharmacy prices are high (e.g., €20 for a small box of Antinal and electrolytes) Overall I had a really enjoyable stay at the Mövenpick Soma Bay 😊🏖️

Our first stay at this hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing people who work here! Yes, there are some small downsides, but in my opinion, they’re completely outweighed by the wonderful staff. Open, kind, and hardworking people who do everything they can to make your stay unforgettable. Wherever you are in the hotel, you know someone will always be there to help, take care of you, and make sure you’re safe and having a great time. A special thank you to my friend Mahmoud for the best evenings at the bar, and to Ali, who didn’t just clean our room but made us smile more and more every day. Another big plus is the variety of activities right on the hotel grounds — such as diving and quad bike safaris — all run by the same amazing and friendly people!

It was great vacation place!!! Highly recommend even for a longer stay. We've been here for 10 days and almost everything was peak! The beach was really nice, with part of it separated for adults-only which was great. The service was amazing, very friendly people and helpful with everything! The animation team was so nice and engaging! Especially Reham, she was really sweet and fun to talk to! 💙 The food was great and there was huge variety of it, something for everyone despite me and my parents having completely different taste! If I had to nitpick then the internet having no password was a bit unsecure and it faded in and out depending on your spot in the hotel, but it was pretty consistent in room and also accessible on the beach which I didn't expect! The AC might actually be a bit too weak for some folks, it took us a day to cool the room down, but on the other hand my mom who always gets sick from the AC - she didn't from this one, bc it's gentler. All in all great experience!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Perfect stay at Movenpick Waterpark & Spa Resort Soma Bay! Our stay at Movenpick Waterpark & Spa Resort Soma Bay was absolutely amazing! The resort is beautiful, very clean, and perfectly maintained. The atmosphere is relaxing, and everything is designed for a wonderful vacation. The animation team was fantastic – full of energy, friendly, and always keeping both kids and adults entertained throughout the day and evening. There were different activities, shows, and games that made every day fun and lively. The food was really good – there was something for everyone, and we especially enjoyed the daily themed dinners that offered a nice variety throughout the week. The beach bar was another highlight – refreshing drinks and even ice cream served right by the beach, which was such a treat on hot days! The staff were always polite, smiling, and ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pools and waterpark were great, and the whole place felt safe and well-organized. We truly had a fantastic time and can’t find a single thing to complain about. Everything was just perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend this resort – we would definitely come back again! 🌴☀️🍹

After 10 nights spent at this hotel, it was not the best experience. Starting by the reception, it was the worst experience with recepctionists ever. The staff is not pleasent, don't try to solve, and look at the guests are if they are just there to bother them. We wanted late check out for the last day, since our flight was only late night and we were told that it'd only be possible to confirm availability on the exact day. On that day, we called from the room and we were told that we could only have late check out until 4pm (we wanted until 8pm, we were told that it was possible for 40USD) because 8pm "would be late to clean the room". We said we didn't want, it would be 8pm or nothing, so we went in person to the reception, talked to a different person and it was then possible to check out at 8pm. So, it all depends on who you request it for. For the cleaning, we needed to be after the cleaning team to have the room cleaned, otherwise it would be passed. Nevertheless, a word of greatness to Rawy, a cleaning staff member that was always very nice and helpfull, the best staff person in the hotel. We asked also to keep the all inclusive access until 8pm on our last day, this is standard in every resort, and we were denied and requested 37 USD per person to keep the all inclusive until the late check out time. We argued that we went to 3 all day trips during the stay, so we did not have any meal on those 3 days, and still there was no courtesy to offer the lunch and dinner for that last day free of charge. Talking about the food, it was the worst resort/hotel buffet I've always had. The food was limited, always the same and awful quality. Not even the bread or the fruit was good. The offer on the tematic restaurants is also far from being good, very poor in reality. The entertainment is very poor, almost inexistent. About the location, the beach is fine, but it's very far from Hurghada that will make you suffer if you want to go to excursions and make it more expensive due to special pick up. I'd rather stay in Madaki Bay, as it is basically the same but closer to Hurgharda. The breakfast boxes for early leaves are ridiculously bad. There is a mini shopping center in the hotel, with Pharmacy, souvenirs, a mini market, but it's all a scam with crazy prices (were asked 10USD for a Milka and a Kinder in the supermarket). Avoid it at all cost. We were attempted to be scammed on the Pharmacy, we agreed 50USD for a order, then they wanted 50EUR when we came back to pick the order, then we demanded 50USD as dealt before and they tried to take some more dolares with a very rounded up conversion to EGP. In sum, highly disappointing.

Our stay at the Sheraton was overall a very positive experience. The room was comfortable, with a nice view of the garden and a partial sea view, just as expected. The gym was well equipped and the sauna, while functional, could benefit from some renovation. What truly stood out to us was the friendliness and positive attitude of the staff. From the reception to the restaurant and housekeeping, every single person was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The hotel itself is large, spacious, and currently undergoing renovation. This was the only real downside, as some works were still in progress and not yet completed. The beach, however, is absolutely fantastic – one of the best we have experienced outside of Greece. If we were to wish for something more, it would be evening events or better music at the bar, which would add more atmosphere, similar to what we saw in a nearby competitor hotel.

Had an amazing time here! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They even sent us a birthday cake to our room when they found out it was my mom’s birthday! The breakfast and dinner buffets were incredible, they have every food option you could possibly want and more. Location on the beach is great and everything was very clean. We are so excited to come again inshallah next year!

A Mixed Stay: Great Staff and Renovated Rooms, But Ongoing Work Impacts Dining and Space This review is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the staff were fantastic—attentive, helpful, and always ready to assist. The newly renovated rooms are also clean, though we did find some residual construction dust. However, the renovations had a significant impact on our stay. While the work wasn't overly intrusive, we did experience a few days of noisy "demolition" while at the pool, which wasn't ideal. The biggest issue, though, was the dining experience. With the main restaurant closed for renovations, the meals were a definite step down from our previous visit. The quality of the food was still good, but the variety was severely lacking. In the past, the pastry selection alone was larger than the total amount of food now available. Finally, while the rooms are new and clean, they are noticeably smaller than they were before the renovation. It's a shame, as the previous rooms felt much more spacious. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential once the work is complete, especially with such a great team. But for now, the ongoing renovations are impacting the experience, particularly the dining and room size.

First of all the receipting was great;with a welcome drink. Th staff in reception are great, they facilitate the check in almost in no time, finalised all my requests with a wonderful compliment smiles, did their best to make me satisy and happy. The rooms are amazing in space, cleaned and comfortable new furniture. Till now deserved the rating I gave to it. Will continue the rating of other facilities and food through my accommodation. The food is very tasty and staff are flying around to serve and present help

We had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Soma Bay! I would like to give special thanks to the Guest Relations team for their warm welcome, exceptional hospitality, and professionalism. They made us feel truly valued from the moment we arrived. Also, a big thank you to the restaurant staff who were incredibly kind, respectful, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable, especially with how sweet and caring they were with my daughter. Even though the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, the kindness and warm attitude of the staff were the highlight of our stay and made us feel completely at home. The renovations themselves are beautifully done — elegant, modern, and promising for an even more amazing future stay. Thanks to all the amazing team, our stay was unforgettable. We’ll definitely be coming back!
