We took our 2 grandsons aged 14 & 9 and we absolutely loved it, quiet location away from the hustle & bustle, we used the free shuttle bus to the beach and bought water park tickets (discounted) also with free bus. The staff were all found to be very helpful, all spoke good English! Food was absolutely fine, I seen reviews complaining about flies but it was no different to being in a restaurant outside & easily wafted away! Rooms were fine we had 2 double beds & a large balcony so plenty of room. The entertainment team were fantastic, the enthusiasm they have when they’re doing the same routine week in week out, they’re a credit to the hotel! The only gripe I had was the 1 lifeguard (the oldest one) was totally & utterly miserable & unpleasant, he has probably one of the best jobs in the world but went out of his way to try and ruin kids’ holidays and it wasn’t just me, everyone was saying how miserable he was.
Other than that it was a great week & id recommend Globales Maioris

Was a nightmare from day one, we arrived late (airport issues) so missed out on dinner only by 30 mins but was told to quickly put our bags in our room and they’ll reopen for us, was greeted with stale bread soggy lettuce hard cheese and very questionable ham with flies over it all, had to get a taxi into s’areanal for food as nothing was nearby, when we got back with my 8 year old around 11:30pm we was greeted with a massive infestation of ants to the point the “polish” they gave to spray on them didn’t work it needed dealing with professionally, we asked to move rooms as they were everywhere and we got moved from a twin to a single there was three of us so the the room wasn’t suitable, 30-40 mins after waiting they put us in a twin which the bathroom stank of raw sewage and the air con didn’t work, and it wasn’t because any doors were open either it just wasn’t working, I asked multiple times for it to be looked into and no one ver sorted it, and before you say it’s because of the heat etc I’m aware of that but this wasn’t the odd one or two ants there were hundreds and it was clearly a nest on the balcony
The food was diabolical nothing was labelled no allergy information or anything, we got there at 8:15 the next morning and the bacon looked like it had been there all week it was like charcoal, there were little bugs all on the bread flies over all the food, now you’d think it would be covered given the heat and time of year etc but no it wasn’t, my son picked a dessert up which was packed full of liquor again no labels stating it had alcohol in it, the food was so bland all you could taste was salt it was diabolical, a curry/stew I had one evening was packed with small bones which I swallowed as I never knew it contained bones, hopefully no kids swallowed them! Then a dessert I had was packed full of nuts inside again no allergy information or the dessert labelled and I have a nut allergy, thankfully I was ok!
The guests above us found it appropriate to have have very loud intercourse into the early hours with their balcony door wide open meaning we had to keep ours shut with NO AIR CON as it was keeping us up and something a don’t want my child hearing, I explained this to reception to be basically told I’m homophobic and they couldn’t speak to them as it would brand the hotel as homophobic too because it was two women?? Wasn’t the case at all I’m all for people having fun on their holiday but it wasn’t appropriate at a so called FAMILY resort there were quite a few children there.
Pool shut at 6:30pm when it was meant to be open till 7, the snack bar was ok in the day but again flies all over the food, we had to spend a lot of money of food out due to the poor quality of this.
My friend asked if she could take one of the snack pots from the snack area to the room as she’s diabetic and wanted to lie down and just have the snack with her just in case, we was told no they don’t cater for diabetics!? Again we had to go buy more food to take to our room.
The tui rep wasn’t helpful at all, and the reception staff were so rude to us, no tea making facilities in the rooms which I even got with a 2 star before in the past, piles of dead bugs every where and it wasn’t ever cleaned it was left for three days in a row, bathroom towels weren’t replaced just the dirty ones folded and placed back
For a four star hotel there needs to be some massive changes

We’ve just had a lovely long early May BH weekend stay in the Hotel Globales Maioris.
For a family of 4 with 2 kids in their low teens, there was just about enough to keep them occupied but really this is hotel more suited to couples or families with younger children. We opted for all inclusive which is a better option for families.
The hotel isn’t huge and is located in a peaceful residential district. The beach is about 6km / 10 minute taxi ride away (not really walkable due to the main road and lack of paths). There isn’t much else in walking distance with the exception of a few local shops / cafes so not too much to explore. Therefore this is a hotel to stay and not venture out much unless you want to book an excursion somewhere.
The hotel is probably 3.5-4 star UK equivalent.
The staff were very friendly and the service was welcoming and helpful. Bruno at the front desk deserves a stand out mention for being accommodating and hospitable.
The room was basic but clean.
The food was acceptable - good.
The animation team were also very friendly.
We took advantage of a complimentary courtesy room / shower before we left as we had an evening flight which was useful after we had used the pool and facilities on the last day. Our luggage was stored during this time.
Recommendations -
The inclusive alcoholic drinks / cocktails were a little cheap / basic (for my personal liking). If we’d stayed here any longer I probably would have gone out and bought something a bit better / UK standard from the supermarket.
As this was all inclusive, the pool table could have been free. We spent a lot of time changing notes for coins in the machine.
FYI - there is a €20 approx euro tax you must pay on arrival. This could have been included within the overall price that we paid via the travel agent.
There was nowhere in the surrounding area to watch any English sports or football.
Therefore a communal tv lounge / bar would have been good.
All in all, a pleasant trip and would recommend for up to a week to chill and unwind (any longer and you may get a bit bored).
Thanks again to all the staff at Globales Maioris.

We've just got back from a 7 night stay at Globales Mairoris. I was a bit nervous about this holiday as there seemed to be some negative reviews but honestly I don't have anything negative to say. I came to the hotel with my husband, my mum and our 2 year old little boy. The room was great, the aircon was leaking on the first day but we told reception and they had a maintenance man come straight away to fix the problem and extra housekeepers to clean the issue straight away. The food was absolutely amazing, I saw a review that said it was all deep fried and nothing fresh and that just wasn't our experience at all. The food was brilliant, we ate way too much of it because there was so much choice!! Alongside the mains, there was so much fresh fruit and vegetables through each meal and different themed nights such as sea food, Mexican etc. I was hesitant about the location, however this was perfect for us, local shops and restaurants nearby and 2 parks with slides and swings within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Theres a playground in the hotel too right next to the main pool which our little boy couldnt get enough of it was great. The childrens pool and slides were also great. We took the free bus to Ar'Nel twice and palma once. The entertainment was great, the staff were great. Everywhere was clean, there was always gardeners and cleaners around. I honestly have no complaints. Amazing hotel and would come again.

We booked Globales Maioris through LoveHolidays hoping for a peaceful family break, but it turned into a nightmare. The shuttle took 1.5 hours to arrive. At check-in, the receptionist Cloe was rude and charged a tourist tax we weren’t told about. Our room stank, the toilet barely worked, and we found ants crawling on our 6-month-old baby’s body in bed. The second room we were moved to needed a deep clean.
There were no halal or proper vegetarian food options, and when I asked staff, they mocked us and laughed in Spanish. We were the only brown family there and felt watched, isolated, and unwelcome. At a kids’ event, after letting white families take photos, they ended it right when we stepped forward with our daughter — humiliating.
We had to rent an iron for €5/day plus a €10 cash-only deposit — but they don’t accept cards and have no currency exchange nearby, so I had to walk around for ages to find euros. On the last day, we were told we could keep the room until 16:00 for a fee, but the next day Cloe said no — 14:00 only — and kicked us out early. We spent hours roaming the streets with our baby and suitcases, completely distressed. LoveHolidays refused to help the entire time.
Do not stay here if you expect basic cleanliness, respect, or cultural sensitivity — especially if you’re not white. An awful experience we’ll never forget.
