We've just got back from a 7 night stay at Globales Mairoris. I was a bit nervous about this holiday as there seemed to be some negative reviews but honestly I don't have anything negative to say. I came to the hotel with my husband, my mum and our 2 year old little boy. The room was great, the aircon was leaking on the first day but we told reception and they had a maintenance man come straight away to fix the problem and extra housekeepers to clean the issue straight away. The food was absolutely amazing, I saw a review that said it was all deep fried and nothing fresh and that just wasn't our experience at all. The food was brilliant, we ate way too much of it because there was so much choice!! Alongside the mains, there was so much fresh fruit and vegetables through each meal and different themed nights such as sea food, Mexican etc. I was hesitant about the location, however this was perfect for us, local shops and restaurants nearby and 2 parks with slides and swings within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Theres a playground in the hotel too right next to the main pool which our little boy couldnt get enough of it was great. The childrens pool and slides were also great. We took the free bus to Ar'Nel twice and palma once. The entertainment was great, the staff were great. Everywhere was clean, there was always gardeners and cleaners around. I honestly have no complaints. Amazing hotel and would come again.

We’ve just had a lovely long early May BH weekend stay in the Hotel Globales Maioris.
For a family of 4 with 2 kids in their low teens, there was just about enough to keep them occupied but really this is hotel more suited to couples or families with younger children. We opted for all inclusive which is a better option for families.
The hotel isn’t huge and is located in a peaceful residential district. The beach is about 6km / 10 minute taxi ride away (not really walkable due to the main road and lack of paths). There isn’t much else in walking distance with the exception of a few local shops / cafes so not too much to explore. Therefore this is a hotel to stay and not venture out much unless you want to book an excursion somewhere.
The hotel is probably 3.5-4 star UK equivalent.
The staff were very friendly and the service was welcoming and helpful. Bruno at the front desk deserves a stand out mention for being accommodating and hospitable.
The room was basic but clean.
The food was acceptable - good.
The animation team were also very friendly.
We took advantage of a complimentary courtesy room / shower before we left as we had an evening flight which was useful after we had used the pool and facilities on the last day. Our luggage was stored during this time.
Recommendations -
The inclusive alcoholic drinks / cocktails were a little cheap / basic (for my personal liking). If we’d stayed here any longer I probably would have gone out and bought something a bit better / UK standard from the supermarket.
As this was all inclusive, the pool table could have been free. We spent a lot of time changing notes for coins in the machine.
FYI - there is a €20 approx euro tax you must pay on arrival. This could have been included within the overall price that we paid via the travel agent.
There was nowhere in the surrounding area to watch any English sports or football.
Therefore a communal tv lounge / bar would have been good.
All in all, a pleasant trip and would recommend for up to a week to chill and unwind (any longer and you may get a bit bored).
Thanks again to all the staff at Globales Maioris.

For anyone expecting a 4 star hotel, this is absolutely not. It’s 3 star…at best.
It’s a shame as the hotel has potential, it’s in a lovely quiet area, the major let down is the food, even 3 star would be pushing it.
I’ve not stayed in a 4/5 star hotel, let alone 3 star that doesn’t check your room number and allocate you a table, there’s nothing here so people just flood in and for our first dinner & breakfast we couldn’t even find a table, finding a clean one even harder. Food is left stacked up meaning if you want a table you have to clear it yourself, though even when they do ‘clean’ them they use the same cloth for the chairs and tables!
A lot of the plates & cutlery aren’t particularly clean, definitely nothing close to the 4 stars they market as.
Nothing feels particularly clean even at the start of service, worst of all some of the chicken off the grill was raw…absolutely disgusting. If we hadn’t noticed, or a child had eaten it, it could have made them extremely ill.
Snack bar is hardly worth a mention, dull, dingy & nothing appetising.
Very noisy at night, last night there was music & shouting at gone 2am with clearly no attempt from the hotel staff to remedy, given this is marketed as a family hotel that’s unacceptable.
Kids pool is nice but very cold, it’s not heated, our room was a good size with big balcony, no kettle or anything in the rooms.
Overall, basic, food very disappointing, nice area with a lovely bakery nearby but don’t expect anything close to a 4 star in terms of service or food.

The rooms were clean and the staff were very welcoming. The kids facilities and splash pool are brilliant. There’s plenty to keep them entertained with the water slides. We can’t thank enough the lifeguard Mariano for saving our 3 year old after she ran off to go down a slide without her armbands on. His quick reactions were exceptional! We offered him a tip as a thank you but he would not accept so we have to give him a special mention. He is the reason we have to give this hotel 5 stars!!

Great hotel if you have small children, (I.e.under 10) not so good for older children or adults seeking peace- however this may not be the case when schools aren't on holiday.
Staff are really good with public areas very clean and tidy, the other areas are not so good but we stayed the penultimate week before the end of season.
Food is plentiful being served in a buffet style but it did get a little samey day after day. On that note lots of posters about food allergies but no information on the oft mislabeled food.
