I stayed here for a conference in May and enjoyed it. It is a big resort on a private bay with calm water and lots of fish in the water, good for snorkeling. It was not yet the peak season so it was relatively quiet at the resort and not too many people on the beach. The beach is mostly pebbles and there are many rocks in the water so water shoes are useful. These rocks provide structure for fish, so again it's good for snorkeling. The main restaurant buffet was huge and food was pretty good. Food did become a bit repetitive after a few days, but with the huge selection, it takes a few days to try everything. Live music every night and they organized a very good dinner for our conference. The pools are very nice and large. Only downsides are that the beach is not sandy and the rooms are a bit old and could use renovation. I wouldn't call it 5 star, but a solid 4 star. I've seen that prices can be quite high, so I think your expectations may vary depending on if you can get a good deal for it.

Highly recommended...
The rooms are spacious, well kept and each room has it's own private balcony.
Great food served almost all day long, with several bars serving a wide variety of drinks.
Pine Bay's staff is absolutely it's outstanding strength.
You need to experience it!

We recently stayed at Pine Bay and had a mixed experience. The Italian à la carte was a real highlight — Furkan was fantastic and ended the meal with a professional handshake. Unfortunately, the rest of the resort doesn’t live up to its 5-star rating.
Rooms:
We stayed in a family room (525). On arrival, it hadn’t been cleaned properly — dirty fridge, no water, and the air con had been off, so it was boiling. One bathroom smelled of urine and was never sorted despite reporting. Floors weren’t clean, towels were always short (4 for 5 guests), and daily fridge refills didn’t consider the number of people, meaning we had to find extra water ourselves.
Food & Dining:
Main buffet had no fly traps and a bad smell near bin areas. Service was hit-and-miss, no drinks menu, and getting a table at busy times was hard. Go early.
The Italian à la carte was excellent, but the fish and beach restaurants were poor — slow service, limited menus, and no first aid when needed.
Facilities:
Grounds are clean and well-kept. Wi-Fi is patchy, especially in rooms. Bring your own snorkels and inflatables — the shop sells poor-quality gear and refused to exchange faulty items.
Indoor pool is cold but refreshing. Snack huts near the main pool serve burgers, chips, ice cream, waffles, and water.
Beach & Pool:
The beach is clean with plenty of fish, great for snorkelling (bring your own gear). Pool towel stations are handy, but water restocking for rooms is frustrating. We ended up collecting it ourselves daily.
Service:
Guest Services were helpful, but reception was unhelpful and often couldn’t answer simple questions. Some staff spoke little or no English, which made basic enquiries difficult.
Taxis should be booked via Guest Services to avoid walking to the gate, and always agree on a price before setting off.
Checkout:
Call reception (dial 4444) for a buggy to take your luggage to reception. There is a luggage storage room, but no tagging system — anyone could access your bags, which feels unsafe. On our last day, cleaners were waiting outside our room before checkout, rushing us to leave.
Summary:
Pine Bay has great scenery and potential, but it’s let down by poor room quality, inconsistent service, and basic oversights. This is not a 5-star experience. Improve cleanliness, communication, and service consistency, and it could be a much better resort.

Since coming back we have been warned about the cats in this country carrying Rabies. Our daughter was stroking them at times so as a precautionary we have got a rabies shot for her. If you go to this hotel AVOID the cats or any stray animal as they can be carriers of rabies. This hotel does not warn you at all and there are no signs.

Not a 5☆ hotel, that's for sure....(3☆max)
Room service is very poor-stayed a week, and bed sheets weren't changed even once!!! Had to ask numerous times to change the towels.
Food is ok,but the verity would be appreciated, almost the same on every second day.
The resort is fabulous and has a lot to do.

We had a wonderful stay at Pine Bay Hotel. The surroundings were stunning, the service was great, and the rooms were clean with efficient housekeeping. We visited in early autumn, and the weather was perfect, with a pleasant breeze that made the experience even more enjoyable.
The moment we stepped outside, we were greeted with an amazing view – a perfect blend of rugged landscape and the deep blue sea. I can honestly say you’ll never get tired of the view. The vibrant colors of nature will draw you in, and you’ll find yourself wanting to spend all your time outside, soaking it all in.
Service at the hotel was good overall, and the staff were friendly and professional. As for the food, it was decent, but it seemed to cater more to the tastes of German and Russian visitors. During our seven-day stay, we saw only a slight variety in the menu, though the selection of sweets and salads was excellent. Drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were of good quality, and most of the common drinks you’d expect in a Turkish hotel were available. I’d recommend asking for canned or bottled soft drinks from the bar, as they taste better than the machine-dispensed options.
The hotel has several pools in different areas, including both outdoor and indoor pools, offering a nice variety. However, the outdoor pools were unheated during our autumn visit, and the cold water made it a bit challenging for our family to enjoy swimming. I’m not sure about the pools in the summer, so if that’s important to you, it’s best to check beforehand.
The evening entertainment was fun, though it seemed more suited for first-time visitors to Turkey or hotels like this. If you’ve been to Turkey before, you might find the entertainment a bit repetitive, as it was similar to what you’d see at other hotels. However, the kids’ programs were lively and full of energy, which is always a plus for families. If you’ve experienced hotel nightlife in Turkey before, you might want to plan something else for your evening. As for the disco, we didn’t see a separate area for it. Instead, the evening stage shows were converted into the disco. Despite the large crowd, not many people were interested, though it was still active late at night.
If you’re looking for a relaxed evening with friends or a partner, I’d highly recommend the Sunset Bar. The design of this space is exceptional, offering a luxurious and relaxing experience with a peaceful vibe.
As for the beach, there were plenty of sunbeds, and the snack bar offered a great variety of fresh food. You can also meet other guests at the beach volleyball area or enjoy water sports, which are available for an additional fee. The beach service was up to standard and met our expectations.
When we arrived early and went to check into our room, the first one we were offered didn’t have a view and had limited natural light. While it was clean and met the quality standard, the lack of a view was a bit disappointing for us. If having a view isn’t a priority for you, the room is fine. However, after discussing our preference for a sea view with the reception staff, they kindly moved us to a room with a fantastic sea view at a reasonable extra cost. The new room was spacious and had a wonderful view. Overall, the rooms were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well.
The hotel definitely has a family-friendly vibe. There were many children, seniors, teenagers, and young adults staying there, and it seemed like a lot of guests were visiting with their parents.
I hope this review helps you in making an informed decision!
