Garden of Sun Hotel – Memorable Stay in Didim
We had a very pleasant stay at the Garden of Sun Hotel in Didim. From the moment we arrived early at 7 AM, the staff welcomed us warmly, checked us in immediately, and gave us our wristbands so we could start enjoying the all-inclusive services without waiting. The entire staff was exceptional, always smiling, attentive, and eager to make us feel special.
A special mention goes to the animation team– Selma, Daniela, and the energetic Panther from Venezuela – who made our days fun and lively. The DJ and pool bar team kept the atmosphere cheerful, and the photographer captured our memories perfectly. At the reception, the lovely Melek was extremely kind and helpful.
Daily towel service, free Wi-Fi, and a fitness center added extra convenience.
Some minor issues existed, such as limited hot water, non-functioning air conditioning, and occasional small maintenance problems. Being the end of the season, sometimes food was not as fresh or plentiful. Overall, the hotel may not fully reflect five-star standards, but these small drawbacks did not diminish our enjoyment.
We left with wonderful memories and positive emotions, thanks to the dedication and hard work of the staff. They truly deserve recognition and appreciation.
Teşekkür ederiz! 💙🇹🇷

Best hotel to experience the horror!!!! It’s not even a 3 Star hotel!
In particular, I would like to report the following issues:
-General cleanliness – The entire property is dirty. Rooms were unclean upon arrival and remain so; we had to repeatedly ask for toilet paper, which should be replenished as standard. The rooms are old and in urgent need of renovation. The bathroom smells of sewage, mold and limescale are literally everywhere, and the toilet is unusable. Water leaks from the air conditioning unit directly onto the bed.
-Corridors and common areas – Dirty dishes are left in the hallways for long periods without being cleared.
-Food and dining – The food is cold, tasteless, and repetitive every day. The staff do not clean tables after guests; even when dishes are cleared, surfaces remain dirty. The hotel’s offer promised a wide and varied selection of meals. We paid for an all-inclusive package, yet we were forced to eat outside the hotel daily, incurring additional, unplanned expenses.
-Leisure area – The sunbeds are filthy, the covers are unwashed and unhygienic. Tables and cups around the pool area are not cleaned. Broken glass has been left lying around, and staff either do not notice or refuse to clean it up, while guests walk barefoot in the area.
-Staff behavior – Guests are being pressured by hotel staff to leave positive reviews, which is unacceptable. The staff are unfriendly, multiple reported issues have gone unresolved, and there is a clear lack of willingness to help.
The one positive thing of our holidays was the bar manager Mr. Yasin, very nice, friendly, kind and helpful man. He was making the best cocktails ever and he was the reason that we could smile a little bit there.
To summarize, the current standard of the hotel does not correspond to the five-Star hotel.
Avoid this hotel, it’s a survival school! Do not trust positive opinions, they are not reliable!

Got to the hotel and staff couldn’t give a key to let us in the room, a room we didn’t not pay for. Paid for sea view and had to stay in a first floor room with a balcony you can barely stand on.
The food is disgusting repetitive and covered I. Flies. Many guests have been sick and ended up on drips. We haven’t eaten in the hotel at all.
Cleaners may clean or may not clean it’s really hit and miss.
The only good thing to this hotel is the pool, there is plenty of sun loungers and location however no life guard.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. Ever. Rooms are dated and cockroaches have been an issue.

Ignore the 5* rating as it’s far from that. Food is often undercooked, in the restaurant and in the outside bbq area. Me and my partner were both ill when there, as were many others we spoke to. Also appears to be left overs from day before just chopped up and re served the following day. Sun loungers are unclean and the padded sun bed covers are mostly stained and smell through lack of washing them. Our room was so so, but the shower needed re decorating and the water didnt run away properly. The thin cotton sheet they put on a double bed doesn’t is too small if there’s 2 of you in the bed. Not many of the staff looked like they wanted to be there, mostly miserable. The only good thing I can say is the pool is huge, a little chilly but nice. DEFINITELY NOT A 5* HOTEL THOUGH.. 😡. I would never ever go back here.

I just wanted to say that when I first booked my travel from Love Holidays I thought this was a five star hotel because from the images and description it looked all right. However when you come to the hotel you will see nothing is like that, when you arrive to the hotel you will see that they don’t treat you as a five star hotel should do. When you arrive to the hotel you should get people welcome you, take your luggage’s out from your hands and assist you. Nothing like that in this hotel. When you come in to your rooms it is filthy, towels don’t get changed everyday. The only thing that is good is food and drink wise you can eat and drink anything you want, the pool and theatre games starting at 10pm. But other than that I it’s a 3 star hotel. On trip advisor and Google the team come and force you to give a good review. The hotel seriously needs to go through the changes and improvements as soon as possible not only me but other travellers think the same. I am disappointed with the hotel needs to be better.
