Stayed for a few days at this hotel and was a little disappointed.
It smelt a bit poor due to the farm behind and landfill close by.
Good transportation links which is nice as it’s very isolated.
Food was okay, breakfast is the same everyday. However, the staff at dinner watch you like hawks and we were often ignored by staff who were attentive to everyone around us.
The housekeeping staff were lovely and we cannot fault them.
Pools are unheated outside making them freezing all the time it felt, indoor pool is only 1.3M deep and not big but facilities there were nice.
Hotel was clean throughout and staff mostly friendly.
Reception staff will ignore you for minutes at a time and no apologies given.
ESE students give it a hostel feel.

The booking was a last-minute one due to not feeling well enough to drive.
Booking was made for 4, two adults, and two children. The room booked was a king bed and sofa bed with a free bottle of wine.
The sofa was not a bed, so a bed had to be brought to the room. It took a long time for the bed to be made up.
There was no bottle of wine, the bar was closed, and there were ants in the bathroom on the 7th floor.
Breakfast was mediocre at best but something I would not pay for again.

Absolutely disgusted with my experience at Salini Resort. I showed up expecting the usual service I’ve always trusted, only to be told they were “fully booked.” Funny enough, I opened Booking.com right there in front of them and booked a room instantly. Clearly, they either don’t know what they’re doing or simply don’t care. Nina at reception was beyond useless — no apology, no help, just a bad attitude. After years of staying here, this was the final straw. I’ll never set foot in this place again, and I’ll make sure others know how badly they treat loyal customers.

Wonderful clean hotel, friendly staff great amenities on site. Beautiful views.
Great Spa & facilities.
GOOD POINTS:
Reception we're very helpful and friendly. If they weren't sure on what was asked the knew who to speak to.
Majority of the staff are welcoming and always polite.
Pool & common areas spotless, we preferred the Lagoon Pool which has a more relaxed vibe. The Lagoon Pool Bar has some of the best tasting cocktails we had while in Malta, the bar tenders really know their stuff. They are super attentive too so if you're not sure on what to have, just ask.
Gift shop stocks all you would need such as toiletries, cosmetics, snacks & drinks with a very nice polite lady running it. Always smiling.
Not a bad location being 30mins from Valetta and North of the island. Just slightly isolated so will need public transport / uber to get places.
Restaurants are a little expensive but to be expected being based in a hotel. Breakfast was ample and very tasty in the Medea restaurant.
We had a couples massage early on which had us relaxed for the remainder of our stay, the girls are experienced and it shows.
The rooms are quite spacious and the beds are huuuge, very comfortable. Our air-conditioning worked brilliant, setting it to 20°C during the day while we were out made sure the room was very comfortable after a day in the sun.
(We had an ocean view room on the 4th floor)
There is a small beach just outside the hotel which is clean and very relaxing despite being next to a main road.
DOWNSIDES:
There is a Landfill nearby but to be honest we only had the odd smell and it really wasnt that bad. It looks like they are capping it so probably won't be an issue soon. It did not detract from our stay.
There is a fair amount of traffic noise from the main road but the rooms are very sound proof and we slept like babies. After travelling a fair amount in Malta, I'm sure its not just a local issue traffic wise.
The shower extractor fan in our bathroom wasn't working so the whole room was dripping after a shower, it soon clears and we were given enough towels / bath mat so this wasn't a major issue.

I have just stayed for 4 nights at Salini Resort and it was a wonderful stay. I was on the 5th Floor with incredible sea views.
The room was very quiet.
The breakfast was incredibly yummy and such a huge selection of hot and cold foods.
The staff were extremely helpful - a member of reception lifted my heavy suitcase into my rental car and even the hotel manager came to the breakfast room to chat to you, which is a lovely touch.
The location is great in terms of quiet but not great for smells and road sound.
The downsides (beyond the hotels control) are that on the weekends mostly, the main road below the hotel is very noisy - especially with motorbikes riding the coastal road.
The outside smell - there is a landfill close by. The smell is horrific. You cannot sit on the balcony or have the balcony door open to air the room as the smell fills the room fast.
As a winter stay, it was fabulous but in the Summer the smells and sounds could be very problematic.
