We stayed here for a few nights to relax, and it worked perfectly. The location is beautiful, with lovely views and spectacular sunsets. Although we were initially concerned after reading some reviews, we chose to upgrade to a junior suite to make sure our stay would be restful — and it was.
The hotel itself is nice, though it does have the feeling of “having seen better times.” The rooms are arranged in small two-story buildings with a courtyard in the middle, surrounded by lots of greenery. The crickets are very loud at night, but in a way that felt calming rather than disturbing. Our room was comfortable, and the bed was simply amazing. The junior suite, however, was essentially two regular rooms joined together, which left us with a living area featuring an uncomfortable couch and table that felt somewhat redundant. The bathroom was spacious, but as noted in other reviews, ventilation was poor and there was a large humidity stain on the ceiling.
The breakfast buffet was good, the pool large and enjoyable, and the beach area perfectly fine — pebbly, but manageable with proper shoes. The gym wasn’t impressive for a hotel of this level, but it was sufficient for a quick workout. We tried the Sardinian night, which was okay, though we had better food at other restaurants nearby. During the day, light snacks such as burgers and sandwiches were available; although overpriced, they tasted fine. There is also a tennis court, but it’s in poor condition and in need of proper maintenance.
Overall, we had a good experience and got the rest we were looking for. The setting is wonderful, and the essentials were in place, but the hotel gives the impression of temporary fixes over the years rather than real upgrades.

Hotel and staff very friendly. Beautiful pool and claen beach. Unfortunately it's away out from the town and other restaurants. It's always nice to try local food but if you have to pay extortionate prices for taxis it puts a dampner on the evening.

I recently stayed at Hotel Corte Rosada and overall had a very enjoyable time. I rate it 3.5/5
Positives:
The gardens are beautiful, neat, and very well maintained.
Rooms are exceptionally clean and adequate.
The TV worked well.
Reception was helpful and always greeted me with a smile. In fact, all staff throughout the hotel were friendly, approachable, and could not do more to help.
The pool is immaculately clean and a great size for both relaxing and swimming.
The private beach is a nice addition—though if you want to swim, you’ll need to use the jetty as there are small rocks on the shore (not a big issue once you know).
Breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and more than adequate.
Areas for improvement:
The air-conditioning works but is hardly efficient, as it doesn’t cool below 25°C, which makes the rooms feel warm at night.
The beds are extremely firm—I would recommend softer mattresses, as I doubt most guests would prefer the current level of hardness.
The dinner food was disappointing for a 4-star hotel. Presentation was excellent and effort was clear, but the dishes often lacked flavour and the ingredients felt sub-par. There was never any salt or pepper on the table, having to ask for these along with butter for the bread was sub par.
Service at dinner restaurant, while polite and attentive, felt overly formal—almost rigid. A more relaxed, holiday-style approach would make dining far more enjoyable.
The biggest drawback was the dinner table allocation/booking system. It’s not clearly explained that you need to book, and guests are escorted to a table they haven’t chosen. I understand the need to manage demand, but a simple and transparent system (first-book, first-serve) would solve this. Communication on this point was vague.
Dinner drinks are not included, so the “half board” option is a little misleading.
Overall:
Hotel Corte Rosada is a lovely place to stay, with wonderful staff, spotless facilities, and a beautiful setting. However, the restaurant experience, hard beds, and inefficient air-conditioning let it down. With some small but important changes, this hotel could easily live up to its 4-star

Beautiful hotel with excellent grounds to explore and relax on the beach or around the pool. The hotel staff are super friendly and accommodating. The spa has great options and can easily accessed. The breakfast is awesome! So many choices to accommodate many nationalities. We loved our stay there.

The room was good. The pine trees dropped a lot (I mean a lot) of needles on you when you tried to sit on the room terrace.
The biggest minus was the breakfast.
The breakfast was almost always the same. Sometimes you could find fried tomatoes and beans. The sausages were already chopped, which was strange.
There are only about four coffee machines in the restaurant, one of which always needed maintenance. The lines for the coffee machine were always long, so you have to think in advance whether you are ready to eat cold food or just cold coffee.
We did not try other dishes because of the breakfast and we always drove into town to eat.
A large beer (0.4l) costs €7.50
drinks €10 ->
Quite a lot for the level of the hotel
I recommend renting a car from this hotel.
The employees were nice.
