Decent Stay, But Avoid the Food We recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The reception staff, especially Jose, were very polite and helpful, which made check-in and any inquiries smooth. The hotel itself is clean, but it does feel outdated, and the photos online are heavily filtered—so don’t expect a luxurious look. That said, for a 3-star hotel, you get what you pay for. The bed was big and comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. Now, the biggest downside: the food. It was honestly awful—tasteless, overcooked, and not worth the all-inclusive option. You’re better off eating out, which is not only cheaper but also guarantees a decent meal. The only edible items were the fried eggs and bread rolls, and the coffee was just okay. Management should really CHECKED THE CHEF and taste the food if they want to attract more customers. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay with friendly staff, this place is fine—but skip the food and dine elsewhere.

I will recommend this hotel if you want to spend a short time in all inclusive and hot country, it has all you need, food, sun, drinks and very close to the beach. The staff was very helpful and gave us a nice big room and ticked all the boxes for us, thanks to the receptionist team for that. The food could have been better as I wanted to try more Spanish dishes but overall it’s good, it had everything I needed. The only suggestion is that I would like them to include more variety of cocktails as they only offer one flavour a day, but I did try Fanta a tequila and was very nice too. Try to stay in the jacuzzi pool as was the warmest for the Feb season and we had a good time. Fantastic for short holidays and wanted some relax time, only advice that the waitress in the restaurant should smile more :)

We have just returned from a week at the BLUESEA - myself, my partner and her 17 year-old daughter. What I liked the most were the staff, genuinely helpful and pleasant without any of the robotic, meaningless ‘corporate pleasantries’ which are so common now. We stayed in two of the themed rooms, which were spacious, clean and each had a large balcony. A fridge and a safe was available in each room. Some reviewers have complained about the food, and noise from the pool area late at night. We found the food both varied and plentiful, and of a good standard. Drinks in the bar were reasonably priced. Noise from the pool area wasn’t a problem, in fact there wasn’t any. The hotel was a short walk to a nearby beach, good for swimming and snorkelling, and about a 20 min walk to a lagoon formed by an artificial breakwater which is full of fish and other sealife. Our transfer to the airport was at 15:00, later than the 12:00 checkout, but there were good courtesy rooms available which allowed us a shower and change of clothes after a final trip to the beach for some more snorkelling. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to stay here again.

Spent a few nights here. Rooms were lovely and clean with an amazing balcony and view across the pool area. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. The food was always kept topped up and fresh. Good variety of cooked breakfast, pastries and cereal.

Spent 7days here and wished I had booked for more. Check-in was quick and easy Rooms very clean and bright , fresh towels every day. Restaurant although very busy was always clean. Food was good only one day out of seven I didn't eat in Restaurant. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Reception always on hand for any problem you might have. Women on guest service desk ( sorry can't remember your name) was extremely helpful. Thank you for a great holiday and can't wait to come back .

Yes the rooms could do with a bit of up dating and a softer bed would be great. But we have had a lovely holiday here. Food has different choices every evening, always something to take your fancy. Unlimited drinks all day is great 👍 big shout out to Dylan who worked his ass off on a busy night on his own. All the staff are lovely and very welcoming. Thanks for a lovely time

Just returned home after an enjoyable short break. The apartment was basic but very spacious and had everything we needed including a large veranda overlooking the pool. The all inclusive package was great, there was plenty to choose from in the buffet restaurant, and snacks available around the pool. No issues with cleanliness, and all staff were very pleasant and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Not long got back from a girls break away. Paul, the manager couldn't have been anymore accommodating during our stay. All the staff were went above and beyond. Could always find something to eat in the restaurant. Room was spacious. The shower was amazing! Will definitely be going back to this hotel on our next visit!

We’ve enjoyed our stay and it’s been a nice holiday but the rooms were very tired because the mattresses were hard, parts of interior off the rooms needed doing like plug sockets and lamps. The staff worked extremely hard day in and day out. The entertainment lady was so kind. And the lunch and evening food was very delicious.

Had a fantastic couple of holidays here, value for money is excellent. Special shout out for Sam who is a one woman entertainment machine! (Even decided to rename me Josh because my real name was too boring!) All the staff are brilliant, friendly and welcoming. If you’re laid back, and want a nice chilled holiday, with a nice atmosphere, then i can’t recommend this place enough. We had a lovely time, and will be back again I’m sure

avoid this hotel, the only positive thing is it's location as it's near the old town and the restaurant staff was friendly and helpful that ends there. its very outdated I have travelled a lot before but I have never been in such a bad hotel before the whole place is so so old and falling apart it need immediate attention. I don't understand how it can clarify for a 3 stars I wouldn't give 1, we have travelled with family and small children there are stair and stairs no lift it's not wheelchair or pushchair accessible with 2 children under 4 it was hard even so reception have allocated as a top floor room no sense at all. Rooms itself are very very bad the owner of its place must be so greedy and probably haven't spent 1 penny since opening. Curtains have wholes in very old and dirty, skirting boards, window frames and doors all have cracks and paint is coming off the beds hard and uncomfortable, all the furniture is really old, bathroom I didn't want to wash my kids in at first brown stains and cracks and some broken bits of near the sinks and towel holders. Silicone just thickly ran over the gaps to try to hide the issues but really the rooms need maintainance and refurb. Outside the hotel might look a little bit better at first as grounds are more looked after with some plants on and white paint over the apartment but bars on the windows rusty and peeling, tiles cracked/missing around the pool area, toilets near the pool don't have a lock, toilets near the restaurants need attention as one socket doesn't have a cover. Cobwebs everywhere even reception area. Avoid this is honest review there are nicer hotels than this we had great holiday but this accommodation was big disappointment.

we stopped over Christmas, it was last minute so there wasn't much left. we booked breakfast on arrival that worked out at only £3 each a day, it was basic but decent, everything you needed, warm and well cooked. right the hotel needs some serious renovation's, its really dated and hasn't had any money spent on it in years! they really need to rip down all the horrible holey yellow curtains, looks like somebody has been chain smoking solid for 10 years! it does smell like weed most days but that's not the hotels fault! we only booked self catering so for what we needed it was ok, to sleep and a base to enjoy Puerto del carmen, we spent most of our time at the beach and walking. the pool is absolutely freezing, on arrival there was 5 black ducks in the pool haha. the good points, location is absolutely fantastic, the views if you book a room with a view is the best view we've ever had in any hotel we've ever stopped in, room was cleaned 3 times in 7 days with fresh towels when needed. unfortunately there's no lifts so its about 150+ steps, so if you're not good on your feet or have little ones and prams then these rooms are a definite no! it kept me and my family fit for a week, now my calf's are like concrete lol. it is a real shame, back in it's hay day, i bet this hotel was fantastic, just needs (a lot ) of money spending on it.

Exceptionally clean, and wonderful views but dated decor. With faded apartment pictures, original clean 80's curtains, mismatched furniture including old dresser, oversized electrical equipment for tiny kitchen units and painted or badly applied silicone patched bathtubs with shower curtain. Functional but needs modernisation throughout. The pool tiles definitely needs attention. I only used the pool once (for core temperature relief from the 37°C heat) during my fortnightly stay due to uneven cement surrounding the pool and the tens of reviews on various websites about the missing, broken and jagged mosaic pool floor tiles.

Very poor accommodation - the only thing going for it is the staff on reception and the location. Not even clean. Rotting wood round the door frames, tiles not washed, cupboards dirty and almost falling apart, smells of drains. I could go on but basically it's well past it's sell by date. We are OK with dated but this is substandard. I think the staff try but they are battling against the poor quality/old damaged furnishings. Bedsheets and towels were clean. We can't comment on food/drinks as we didn't use the bar or restaurant.

This area beautiful be good spot of central / activities Hotel is poor because not well clean and need update deep clean n recovery repairs at all. swimming pool is mould as tiles are loads fall over everywhere made the mouldy. Also my kids not happy with fun pool as not allow inflatable in main pool. Only small kids pool allow. Look stuipted! But hotel staff/mangers are very friendly and respect. So lovely. Disappointed hotel’s not great clean/updated. All incluivse are great but not excellent foods for lunch / dinner. Taste likely low. Pool floors need clean by every days with after pool by evening as some most dirty by floors

Absolutely the biggest hole I have ever stayed in. Trust me do not book here. All the people saying oh you get what you pay for etc... They should be paying you to stay here. The rooms are just old and damp, in need of an overhaul. They are what if imagine the old Butlins chalets look like now. The amount of guests with issues is frustrating. The management are not customer facing and refuse to meet. We got out in a dungeon of a room, it's impossible to even describe. Door not locking only one window that could not open. We lost an entire day of our holiday over moving rooms as our initial room wasn't available, then moved twice by the hotel without our involvement. The only saving grace is the staff in the restraint and bar are very nice and helpful. Genuinely I would recommend not staying ere to everyone with families. If you want a cheap bed and are not fussy , then go ahead, but if you want a decent standard (including being clean and not old and dated) then go elsewhere. The food is very poor as well, but it's one of those cheap all you can eat buffets. Avoid this place.

Food was really nice, always a pasta option always chips and a meat choice nice salad small but not an issue. Was put in a bad room first night due to overbooking but got refunded for this once contacting the holiday company, we’re in much better rooms for the rest of the week as expected. All staff were nice and very hard working, location up a steep hill down to the harbour but you can rent a car from the hotel or at a little car rental round the corner to the hotel if this is an issue. Pool table for €2 or table tennis for free also at the hotel. However the snack bar was underwhelming cheese and ham sandwiches served every day with either muffins or biscuits I think instead they should use left overs from breakfast or lunch, but wasn’t a big issue. Lovely weather and a beautiful island

Staying here for a week, can't fault it, rooms a little dated but it's somewhere to sleep only, grounds are lovely, pool clean and nice, would benefit from a couple of parasols to chill under, pool bar fab, all staff friendly and helpful, snack bar isn't great, not alot of choice, food is fine, alcohol is good, loving cocktail of the day, location isn't bad. If u don't wanna walk up hills taxi is a couple of euros. Rooms cleaned every couple of days, fresh towels every couple of days, my room was equipped with a hairdryer, spacious bathrooms, basic kitchen, can hire kettle etc, safety deposit box in room €20 plus €10 deposit, worth it really. No air-conditioning but that's fine, nice walk down to harbour and strip. Will be returning and have recommended to friends too. Thanks for making our holiday comfy n relaxing.

Family of 4 stayed September 2024. Easy to check in and all staff are accommodating, rooms are what you would expect so no problems. The food was great quality with a variety and the chefs work really hard. pools are great ( cold to begin with so brace yourself! ) the water park is just a fabulous addition caters to all ages. It’s a little walk to the beach probably up to half hour if you have children but we always took a taxi which the hotel staff call for you. Little shop next door which is handy. Didn’t see much entertainment but that didn’t bother us, we have booked again for this year and can’t wait! Lanzarote is a beautiful island and this hotel is great for families.

Having seen some of the reviews here, I was slightly apprehensive of our stay at HL Paradise Island. I needn't have been, we had a brilliant time. The hotel is nice. It needs a little bit of upkeep but it's still very pleasant. We stayed with three kids (7, 5 and 2) and they had the time of their little lives - the pools are great (yes, it's February, the water is cold!) but there is so much to do! There is a good variety of food at the all inclusive and the quality of the food is much better than I expected. The Asian cuisine is a particular highlight! The staff are great and the kids loved the mini disco each evening. Overall, a great stay and great value for money. We will be back! 😄

Rooms are looking a bit scruffy in places but the hotel is not generally treated well by guests. Staff work hard and are mostly polite and friendly. Grounds are lovely and well maintained. Entertainment is very noisy and quite late. Many guests smoke in public areas, leave food and rubbish all over the place and use the bathroom towels for sunbeds, leaving towels out on sunbeds when not in use. We emailed the manager via reception email address twice but never received a reply. Food was good mostly and varied and water park was good. We are not planning to return to this hotel.

There was a large selection of water slides and a great children’s play area. There was also very good entertainment for children in the evenings🌇. Staff were very helpful especially the receptionists and the bar staff, Madeline and Jasmina. Cleaners came every day and the whole area was kept spotless. Our apartment was very pleasant. My family and I had an upstairs apartment with two single beds and one couch bed. The water pressure on the shower was excellent. We also had a spacious balcony with a great view of the water slides 🛝😊. There were a few onsite photographers who took amazing family photographs 📸 New Year’s Eve was an incredible night. Each person was given a party bag with party hats, streamers etc. The fireworks were fantastic and the experience overall was one to be remembered 🎉.

Stayed here for a week all-inclusive. The hotel room was good but needed updating. There was a kettle and some cups but no tea or coffee. Nothing major. The food was a big letdown. They served more or less the same thing every day. The only difference was the cooked meats. Chicken pork and beef. Desserts were the same day in and day out. The only time you could get a hot drink with your food was breakfast. For all other meals, it was cold drinks only. The only other place to get food if the restaurant was closed was at the bar. If you weren't quick, you didn't have a chance. It was a sandwich or nothing. Plus was the staff were very helpful and attentive.

Just got back from my vacation here (beginning of December). Great location as there is local amenities around & the beach is a 7 minute walk down the road. Staff were friendly & polite. There’s a big variety of cuisines to choose from with lots of food options each day. Will say cutlery needs to be more cleaner as I had to continuously look for clean cups & plates. Cleaning staff could have done better with the cleanliness of the room as insects were found often on floors in which I removed myself.Bed sheets and towels wasn’t changed often which would have been nice however bins and tables were cleaned daily. Rooms are spacious & was provided with extra pillows and blankets which was lovely. The rooms were like bungalows which provided tables & chairs to sit outside which is great especially if you just want some alone/ rest time which is highly appreciated. Great choices for entertainment & activities for kids & adults. The outdoor pool area and bar was great - does get busy midday so reserve your chairs from early! I would recommend this hotel more for families instead of solo travels like myself! Overall I am satisfied.

Room was well located. Clean and well serviced. Fridge was handy. Pool area and grounds are very well maintained. Good entertainments ( day and night). Plenty of good selection of food. Lovely flamingo beach only 10 min. Walk away. With nice walks along the coast/ harbour. ( we went in january,needed a coat at night )... there were gas patio heaters outside, but I didn't see them on.

All inclusive resort. Nice, not posh. Rooms spacious, well appointed. Could be cleaner. Food buffet plenty of options,some very good, most okay, some Clearly bulk institutional fare. Specialty dining terrible, don’t bother. Entertainment: enthusiastic and talented performers but low budget acts. Pools Not heated, activities may require extra fee or limited availability. Seems like the staff try very hard to do the best they can with a limited budget to make experience positive. A short walk to beach and shops but not near trendier parts of island.

Amazing room, which we got upgraded to for free on arrival. Food was great, lots of choices throughout the day. Few different pools, one that was slightly heated, more than enough sun loungers around the pools. Really good location, 10 mins from the strip and beach. Only fault would be our shower tray would overflow after 10 minutes, not worth negating a star tho. Highly recommend

Had a fabulous week and haven't a lot to complain about. Workers were friendly and food was lovely. One pool close to restaurant is heated. Kids splash park was brilliant. Very relax single storey rooms. Would definitely go back Our only complain was the upgraded superior room hadn't got a door on the twin bedroom which tui stares twin " room". We expected a door. The sofa bed needed throwing away-it had seen its last legs.massive bump half way across it with worn out mattress. Luckily only 3 of us so I slept on the single bed also in lounge which was hard but I managed it wasn't made up no sheets or duvet and I did go to reception to ask but no one came. So I slept on a big beach towel and found some blankets! Next day I took some sheets myself off a trolley by the rooms maid been in already and still no sheets. No extractor fan bathroom.

I unfortunately recently stayed at Plaza Palmeras in Lanzarote. The hotel is wrongly advertised as a 4-star property – it’s barely 2-star quality at best. **Key issues:** - **Awful food hygiene**: Leftover food was reused including seafood, fruit was off, so we couldn’t trust anything. The limited snacks (bread and butter) were served next to a bin, ham and cheese sandwiches left out for hours. The dining area is more like a dreary school or hospital cafeteria. You even have to pay extra for some items so not “all-inclusive” **Shabby facilities**: Outdated apartments, ripped old brown sofa, noisy doors, and peeling paint. The resort feels like a badly converted self-catering place. - **Safety risks**: Damaged life-saving equipment and numerous trip hazards, including a drain near the cafeteria. - **No entertainment**: Just a pool table and loud music during the day, with an empty, cold outdoor bar in the evenings, the only place to sit with watered down drinks. Despite raising these issues with the hotel and Love Holidays, I received no real response – except excuses. Stay far away from Plaza Palmeras if you are looking for a true 4-star holiday experience.

Wow. What can we say. An amazing holiday from start to the end. From the moment we arrived the staff were courteous and supportive. Wheelchair access is perfect and convenient. The rooms aren’t massive but perfect for two people for a week. The hotel is spotless and cleaned thoroughly. Rooms cleaned every other day. Air con is €10 to hire and refundable. The drinks glasses are €1 but also refundable. The food is great. Something suitable for everyone Good selection of drinks on the all inclusive. Close to the town although quiet and not noisy. Close to the supermarket to get every day supplies. Cannot recognise hotel enough. Will definitely return

Great all inclusive mini break, nearby to amenities and the beach, bars and restaurants. Lots of choice. The apartment room was clean and well maintained. Good value for money, food was pleasant especially breakfast there was always something to choose from. Loved the pool. Only negative is could of done with a fan in the room as pretty warm at night. Overall we had a lovely time and would definately return 🙂

We enjoyed our week at Bluesea Lanzarote Palm. The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. We were in rooms 57 and 58, beds very comfortable and very clean. The sofas aren't the comfiest but we were on the balconies most of the time so not the biggest problem. We were all inclusive. Drinks wise we aren't big drinkers so only had a few g +ts which were nice. The food, breakfast basic cooked and contential. Lunch and Dinner, we always found something we liked but could do with more variety. There was only evening entertainment 1 night while we were there and the bar was always pretty quiet. The pool area was kept clean and we always found a sunbed when we wanted one. The pool was a little chilly but fine once you were in. Location, the hotel is a 5-10 walk down to the main strip and beach. We did enjoy our walks down and gave us some exercise but it is a bit of a walk back up the hill, good for the calf muscles. The staff and the cleanliness of hotel are the big plus points. We would definitely stay again.

Smallish aparthotel complex about 10 mins walk down the hill to the sea front. It has recently changed owners and I understand a few improvements have been made, but does require further improvement and updating to stay competitive. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, found the breakfast to be fresh and cleanly served with great staff in the dining room / kitchen.

The Food Hygiene Rating's at this Exceedingly Excellent 5 star Award Winning Hotel have Exceedingly Excellent 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating's. All of the Staff Whom Work in Collaboration with the Owner are all Equally as nice as one another in their own way's. All of the Restaurant's at this Exceptionally Beautiful and Glorious Hotel when I had Breakfast and Evening meals were truly amazing. Since I don't drink alcohol at all I had Cappuccino with Chocolate Sprinkled on which was very nice and Beautiful as well. The Outdoor Swimming Pool was amazing when I had stayed at this Hotel for 5-7 Days approximately altogether. The Owner of this Exceptionally Beautiful Hotel has made this Hotel into a well Established Business by Employing very reliable and trustworthy and very dedicated and lovely staff with very good communication skills to come and work at this Hotel itself. All of the Staff whom work in Collaboration with The Owner of Dreams all of them have Extremely lovely personalities themselves. All of the Staff whom work at This Exceptionally Beautiful Hotel were nice towards all of the Guests all of the time whom stayed at this Hotel and all of the Staff once again whom work at this Hotel were all Exceptionally lovely people towards me all of the time when I stayed at this Hotel itself. In addition to that coming to this Wonderful Hotel was truly a wonderful Experience for me indeed.

Excellent hotel. You have to go preferred club though to get this. Great breakfast buffet in the morning as well as a room of food available for preferred club members throughout the day. Only breakfast buffet where I have been offered more than 3 pieces of bacon! Room was very comfortable. Huge TV and fantastic shower. Only issue I had was the walls are a bit thin and could hear the TV from next door one night. Think it was an old couple who were a bit deaf. The spa and sauna was very good. Steam room is spacious and perfect temperature. Well worth getting unlimited access pass for. Great swimming pools and service by the pool. Didn't eat at the restaurants as there is plenty of places nearby within walking distance. Bus stop for excursions is very close too which is convenient. We stayed over Xmas and there was lots of entertainment put on for kids so good place to go if you have little ones.

Do not waste your time or money - this hotel is a 3-star experience at best. We booked a week-long stay for our family of six, expecting a luxurious 5-star experience based on the pictures and descriptions. Instead, it was a complete disaster: cockroach, outdated and poorly maintained rooms, inedible food, and staff who barely spoke English. We paid a premium price, expecting at least the basics of a 5-star service - especially since we booked the Preferred Club, which is supposed to offer top-tier treatment. What we got was far from it. The room was falling apart with scratched and stained walls and doors, corroded bathroom fixtures, and a damaged toilet seat that should have been replaced long ago. And worst of all - cockroach. The food was just as bad. Breakfast was a disaster, with filthy cups, outdated napkins and overcooked eggs. Portofino, the hotel’s so-called “best” restaurant, was even worse. If this is their finest, I’d hate to see the worst - maybe the one that sends you straight to the hospital? The pasta was clumped together and rock-hard, the fish was so bad it made feel dizzy, and nearly every plate at the restaurant remains untouched as guests leave after taking a few bites. The waiters didn’t even bother asking if the food was okay - they already knew the answer. When we complained to the guest experience team, their response was a robotic, “I’m sorry you had a bad experience, but all guests have different experiences here.” In other words, they don’t care. Before booking this hotel, take a closer look at the “good” reviews. It’s painfully obvious that many are either written by bots or by people using random, nonsensical words. This place is a complete scam that does not deserve its 5-star rating. Frankly, I have no idea how it’s still part of the Hyatt group - it’s an embarrassment to their brand. If you’ve had a similar experience, I highly recommend leaving a review on Google to warn others. No one should have to go through this on what’s supposed to be a relaxing vacation.

My wife and I have just returned home from a very disappointing weeks holiday at the Dreams Hotel Playa Dorarda Lanzarote, Spain. Booked through Jet2. About 30 hours into our holiday after second dinner at the hotel I became violently sick with high fever from one a.m to 5 a.m every 20 minutes. The hotel doctor diagnosed Gastroenteritis, that's three days of Dr visits which included six injections and antibiotics. My wife tried to do the right thing and report this to hotel reception soon after doctor's visit thinking this could be investigated but received a very cold response. We try to be careful, particularly chose a five-star plus hotel to avoid this type of problem's in our opinion food was not the best. I found some items under cooked. On many occasions buffet restaurant very crowded. Amenities and restaurant types revolve round the preferred club class therefore unable to visit the additional pools and restaurants close to the beach, there was plenty sunbeds around central position pools and bar. The hotel was situated in a prime position between Playa Blanca and the Marina. Our room was looking over hotel large car park at front of Hotel with a distant sea view, not ideal unfortunately which we paid a additional premium,  Included two large TVs for whatever reason as there are no English channels apart from news. Again in our opinion as we have been to many lovely four-five star hotels this is not one of them, not five-star, unless maybe paying a lot extra for preferred club.

Booked "all inclusive ", yet it doesn't mean you get everything! Don't be fooled by all the pools, gym, indoor pool, why? Because you have to pay extra! Of course, if you are " preferred ", which is in my opinion, a terrible upgrade. Does it mean the rest of the guest are not THAT preferred? As well, if you are a guest in the "preferred ", you might pay more but in reality, you don't receive alot more, maybe some extra crisps...... The staff is very good, apart from one lady at the reception ( maybe had an "off" day 😀). Food has been outstanding. I personally would not return but we all have a different outlook

The food and drink service has been amazing - we wish we could stay and eat/drink more! The location is perfect. My brother did the rifle shooting and Miguel was amazing!

Animation team (specifically Mini Club) were fantastic. My son (7 years) really enjoyed dipping in and out of the different activities. Also a good range of adults activities. Yoga (including sunset sessions) with Martha were particularly enjoyable. On site dive school (Dawn Dives Academy) also a bonus, my husband enjoyed a variety of dive sites, with professional instructors particularly Rinus. Beautiful gardens plus a great variety of pools. Only negatives were the lack of specifically vegan options in the restaurants and the frustratingly slow WiFi.

Decent but not without its flaws Stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. The rooms look nice, but they’re quite loud, so don’t expect the best night’s sleep. The dining area could be cleaner, which was a bit off-putting. It’s very much geared towards kids, so if you’re looking for a quiet or more adult-friendly stay, this might not be the best choice. On the plus side, they have fizzy water on tap, which is a nice touch. The location is a bit out of the way, so keep that in mind when planning your trip. Overall, not terrible, but could be better.

Absolutely fantastic hotel for children. Staff from all areas are always smiling. The dining room staff are never phased about cleaning up after a toddler. The hotel has a dining area set up for children with plastic plates,bowls and cups. The food is of a high standard and always hot . Location is excellent with a 10 minute stroll to the centre of Costa teguise. A bus stop right outside (the number 3 gets you to a lot of good locations)

All the staff were fantastic. The bar staff were wonderful, and generally there wasnt a member of staff from kids team, cleaning, management, dining hall, etc who wasn't courteous and professional. Really felt the staff knew us by name and face. Furthermore... issues & requests were swiftly dealt with. The hotel stay ticked many of my boxes...great location, clean pools, safety for my kids. I would recommend the hotel for a family and for holiday periods. Would ask that you strengthen the WIFI in the dining hall; sometime it didn't work at all which is an issue for parents looking after kids with devices.

Just come back from our 2nd stay here (stayed last February) and can't wait to come back again! We upgraded to all-inclusive on arrival for a fraction of what Jet2 were charging. The staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating, especially with allergies/intolerances. My daughter is dairy free and Maria made sure dairy free pancakes made each morning for her, there was a new 'vegan corner' at the dessert section for the evening meals and most mornings Alpro yogurts were available (last year there was another brand but my daughter didn't like the texture). My daughter would be shown by the chef what was safe for her to have or what could be altered if she wanted, this happened at each meal and honestly this level of service is fantastic as a parent to see. It's a big risk entrusting someone else to prepare your childs food but here it feels like you're not a burden and they are more than happy to help. Whilst my son could enjoy endless ice cream from the pool bar, Maria had ensured plenty of dairy-free lolly ices were available for my daughter to have instead. The room was lovely and clean, we stayed near the pool bar this time with a large terrace that was a perfect sun trap. When the kids needed an afternoon chill/snooze, we could still make the most of the sun back at the room on the sun-loungers. The Blue Team were on form again with daily and evening entertainment. My daughter is 10 and joined in with the kids club, my 4 year old has additional needs so he stayed with us instead of the kid clubs but he loved Daisy's daily walk around and mini-disco! The pool area's kept clean and tidy with lifeguards ensuring everyone's kept safe. I love how sustainable this hotel is, the multiple recycling points and plastic glass bins for bar returns is great to see.

H10 Lanzarote is a well-organized, family-friendly resort offering a comfortable stay with efficient service, good food, and well-maintained facilities. While it does not provide five-star luxury, it delivers a solid holiday experience with a few areas for improvement. The resort is particularly suited to families, offering three pools catering to different needs. The small heated pool is ideal for infants, the medium heated pool is the most popular due to its comfortable temperature, and the large unheated pool remains underused. Large floats are not permitted, so there’s no need to bring them. The hotel is also two minutes from a beautiful beach, but the strong winds can make exiting the water unpleasant. Children’s facilities are a strong point, with three separate kids’ clubs catering to different age groups and a structured evening entertainment schedule, including a kids’ disco at 7:30 PM and general entertainment from 8:00 to 8:30 PM. The hotel is quiet after 9:30 PM, reinforcing its family-friendly atmosphere. The food service is generally good, with breakfast being a highlight. Half-board guests can swap lunch for dinner, though dinner offers a better selection, including themed nights. The kids’ food station is well-designed, encouraging children to serve themselves. However, the lunch buffet lacks clear food labeling, making it difficult for guests with dietary requirements. The café bar is fast and efficient, operating from morning until late at night, but food quality varies. While chicken fingers are well-received, chicken nuggets are poor quality and should be reconsidered. Drinks are a bigger concern—a double Absolut vodka and lemonade seemed to contain little to no alcohol, and a lingering headache the next day raised concerns about authenticity. Beer and virgin cocktails were fine, but after this experience, spirits were avoided. Beverage quality is a weak point. Coffee is poor, entirely machine-made and disappointing for coffee drinkers. Tea is equally weak. Half-board guests must purchase a full bottle of wine rather than a glass, though they can keep it for the week. Rooms are functional but unremarkable. While the kitchenette is a great addition for families, cleaning is minimal, consisting of a quick mop and bed refresh rather than thorough housekeeping. No air conditioning is available in winter, with only fan air or external ventilation, so guests should bring long sleeves for chilly evenings. The gym is small but effective, air-conditioned, and sufficient for a basic workout, though it lacks towels and a water fountain. Check-in is quick and efficient, and staff are polite but strict on half-board drink policies. The nearby aquarium is worth visiting, though surrounding shops and cafés are unimpressive. However, several excellent restaurants are within walking distance. Overall, H10 Lanzarote is a solid family resort with efficient service and good entertainment. Improvements in food labeling, drink quality, and housekeeping would enhance the experience, but with realistic expectations, it remains a good choice for families.

Really nice apartment style hotel. Super clean and tidy. Pool is cold, but just what you need in the heat. The one site gym, is very modern, and free to use as an all inclusive! Pool bar sometimes has a big queue but the staff are all friendly and happy to help. Only complaint would be the lack of 'proper' bacon and sausages at breakfast. The food otherwise is fantastic with a wide selection and not too repetitive at all. Would happily return.

Lovely hotel, but a little tired. Rooms are big, but the mattresses are solid, it was like sleeping on a table. Amenities and facilities are good. The location is fantastic close to two beaches within a 10 min walk with lots of shops and restaurants close. The staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. Food, a few meals were very salty and luke warm with limited choice, with some not cooked properly (potatoes soft on the outside but hard in the middle). Now this could be because our visit was out of season. The resort is quaint but seems to be needing some love. There are broken tiles around, plaster on walls broken, sliding door glass on reception was cracked and areas that need some paint. The pools,.well these are beautiful, but be prepared to have your breath taken away, they are cold. The questions, would I go back? Yes despite the few issues mentioned, these generally didn't spoil my holiday and both myself and my wife enjoyed our stay.

This had been my first holiday abroad, and still, it's one of my best. The rooms and lobby area were all immaculate, bringing you all the comfort you could want. However, the pool wasn't the cleanest with black bits floating around, and while the food room was nice, it had ANTS crawling all over the bread and the floor, almost making you not want to eat there. Overall, this is a go-to place for the perfect family holiday with seafront shops not too far, I just wouldn't go all-inclusive as the food was a let down.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice of food, not always the hottest though. Nice pool bar and snacks. The restaurant is definitely more of a noisy canteen with no atmosphere, some days it was almost deafening with the sound of crockery being collected. No atmosphere in small bar. Bungalow is sufficient, but bathroom was filthy with a very bad smell from drains. Football court gate broken, so had kids playing in there and screaming till gone midnight, ( avoid any of the rooms in the 800’s), did complain several times, nothing was done to fix gate. Trying to have a peaceful holiday, but we’re constantly bugged by one member of the animation team, to leave a review whilst we were there, and wanted to take picture of us doing it, saying that her boss demanded it. Would I return, definitely not. Would hate to see what it’s like there in high season.

Cute bungalow - semi detached as 2 together so pretty quiet - with fridge & microwave. 2 cleans missed Fri/Sat we were there (another but hubby was ill on day 1) Food - always something to choose! Kids loved the homemade pizza ! Was available in snack at by pool & in restaurant: other highlights were creamy nacho cheese, sushi one day and pork in peppercorn sauce. Oh and the cake! Daughter no 2 loved it! See photo. Breakfast had all kinds of eggs and lactose free or soya milk options and I couldn’t find this info before we left so someone might find it useful. Pool was freezing but lots still in it! Location is 10 minute walk to town and you can’t see the sea Gym was cool take a towel from room otherwise €1. Wi fi - in lobby and by left side of pool you could get it. Did us good to not have it for a week!

A Mixed Bag at the Mirador hotel for ourselves for a wee one 1st holiday abroad. The Mirador offers a comfortable stay, especially for families with young children. Our modern ground-floor room was perfect, overlooking the pool and equipped with a bath and a large travel cot. While the evening entertainment for adults was enjoyable, the children's entertainment started too late and was rather underwhelming. The hotel's dining experience was inconsistent. Breakfast was excellent, but lunch and dinner were disappointing. The themed nights, like the Spanish night, were okay but lacked flavor and variety. We found ourselves eating out frequently. The staff, however, were consistently friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is ideal for those seeking a quieter stay near the beachfront.

This is are second time here and it has been amazing! The location is brilliant, there is a lovely walk down to the nearest town with shops and restaurants and the harbour. The food isn’t amazing but what do you expect at a buffet all inclusive, it is definitely better than some of the other hotel food I have had. Everywhere is really clean.

Great value for money with some lovely surprises. My wife and I are in our 50s we went with Jet2 half board, 1 Week, Beginning of February, junior Suit, ground floor, £1400. beds were comfy, room very spacious with great views when standing up. patio was a sun trap and had seats and loungers. pool was just warm enough for us. area is great to explore on foot, miles of sea front promenade. no complaints about the food, lots of variety and very tasty. Safe free and easy to use, cold water free, pool towels free, Wi-Fi free everywhere, staff very pleasant. We had access to the privilege lounge with free food and drink, this was a very nice surprise

We stayed here 30/1/25. To 6/2/25. What a beautiful hotel and beautiful position. A short walk to the marina ,about 10 mins. Using the sea front promenade and about 25 mins to the main Playa Blanca sea front and port. Our room ,junior suite sea view.was well equipped and a lovely outdoor patio area Inc sunbeds. Table and chairs with fantastic views. The most comfortable beds ever. Our room also gave us access to a privilege lounge which we used every day for some snacks and drinks,we were half board so this filled the lunch time gap nicely. All the staff were most polite professional and helpful.one area that could be improved would be the food selection for supper but to be honest there was always something you could choose ,we never went hungry. We used the spa ,which was good ,we didn't use the gym but it looked well stocked.good selection of sunbeds around the pool ,the temp was a bit chilly but we had no problems once the shoulders were in.(considering it was jan/feb) Should we ever return to lanzarote we would most definitely choose this hotel. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

We visited this time last year and had a fantastic week. At the time of booking we asked for ground floor in a quiet area because we have a young kiddo and they gave us the perfect room! The staff were so polite & helpful throughout, especially the restaurant staff. My lo & I have quite a few food allergies (gluten, dairy, egg & soya) and we were so well looked after! Their lovely head chef went out of her way to take me around and show me all of the options which were very clearly labelled. I could speak to the team and they would take an order for the following meal for gluten free bread, pasta, cake etc. We were also offered a packed lunch if we wanted to go out somewhere for the day. The only issue we had was that the dairy free butter contained soya. The hotel was kept clean and there are water filter points throughout the hotel so that we didn't have to buy bottles. The lovely beach and the town were both a short walk away. There is a shop up the road who are able to order in specific free from milks if contacted ahead of time. For Halloween the hotel staff organised face painting, games and pumpkin carving for all the guests to participate in. It was a lot of fun for kids and adults! Would definitely recommend a visit to the spa as well! Thank you to the wonderful team!

We were all inclusive and have to say the variety of food on offer was fantastic, something for everyone! The standard of food was also very good. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but possibly needing a wee bit TLC but again very good. The pool areas were very well maintained and always plenty of sun loungers available. Only a 15 _ 20 minute walk from the main area in Playa Blanca. Staff were all excellent. Only real fault I could find was if you get dropped off by bus/coach, they stop on the main road which is 2 flights of stairs from the entrance, not too much a problem for able bodied people but a fair climb with your luggage. All in all a great stay.

Well this is classed as 4 star but no way probably a 2 star. The food is bland and not a great deal of choice especially on a Sunday for some reason the rooms are nice and each little bungalow has it's own sunbeds and table and chairs which is a bonus, there's not really anywhere to sit and just have a drink on an evening that's comfy, location wise it's not really close to town, Playa Blanca, so if you want to eat out it's a cab bus or a long walk. The staff are excellent very attentive. To sum up if you just want to sit and be bored and just stay put for a week or so then it's fine if not go somewhere a bit more lively. We came in February and it wasn't full but if it was there just wouldn't be the room. No t coming back!

I returned yesterday from a last minute 5day trip with my mother. We went away to relieve stress, complete my assignments in peace and relax before my mother's spinal surgery next week. Unfortunately, the stress only got worse. I don't want to say the holiday was all negative. We did have a brilliant time meeting other guests and having a laugh. Staff were also very friendly. Unfortunately, I would not say the hotel is a 4star but more of a 3star. It was quite a basic hotel. Entrance was pretty but there's alot of updating that needs to be carried out. We paid for a superior sea view room. Cannot complain about the view although the rooms needed freshening up. They were very spacious though. I was disappointed that the hotel does not provide coffee in the rooms, this would have been a great touch. The poolside was nice, there was no arguing over sun loungers but the pools were absolutely freezing even though one was supposedly heated. It was a shame for families with children as they couldn't go into the pool. The beach was just outside a gate and across a path. Very beautiful too. The food was disappointing. Very repetitive and I do feel there wasn't much to choose from. It was also cold! There were microwaves to heat food up but this should not be expected. Food should be served hot. Staff were very quick to help clear tables and take away any used plates though. Let's talk about stress. I was in my room carrying out work for my assignment while propped up in bed. All of a sudden, part of the wall crashed down and hit me. Pictures do not do it justice, it was heavy! The corner of this heavy piece of wood smashed into my arm and laptop. The screen is completely smashed and slightly bent. As you can imagine I was angry, shocked and upset. Luckily, I was not sleeping as my head would have been in the same place my laptop was. Without sounding dramatic, I would have received some serious head injury if not worse. You do not expect to have health and safety issues like this when being on holiday. The manager was apologetic but I do feel it was brushed underneath the carpet. I was offered a massage for my troubles which I felt it was insulting. The jet2 rep was amazing and I could not fault her. She argued for me to have a laptop to continue my work which was finally agreed upon. This however did not happen as they could not source one for me. I was not asked once how I was even considering the wood hit me. I was upset and could barely sleep with fear it was going to happen again. I'm surprised there was no investigation as to how it happened, but rather it was 'quickly fixed'. I felt as though the hotel could not wait for us to leave so they did not have to deal with us any longer. Unfortunately, will not be returning and feel I need a holiday to recover from the stress this holiday caused.

I paid €30 to have drinks like water in the mini bar- bottles that came with bottle tops that need a bottle opener! 🤦🏻‍♂️ I've taken coffee from the restaurant to use in the room, but no milk sachets. Food is nice Service is respectful Location to the beach is brilliant! Edit: Christmas dinner was a disaster! Less said the better! Repeat again: Having water bottles in our room that need a bottle opener to open! No use to me or my 8 year old daughter when we are thirsty in our room at night? After paying €30 to have drinks in our room P.S. we are meant to be all inclusive

Stayed at Sol Lanzarote for a week. The good parts included a modern room, cleaned every day, 3 pools which were not too busy apart from the heated pool which is full of kids most of the day. I thought the food was decent and you do get a good selection everyday including meats, cheese, bread, fruits and vegetables, and desserts. The beer and wine is on tap so it's very easy to get yourself a drink whenever you feel like it. The hotel has very good beach access which is literally only a 30 second walk away from one of the pools. The only negatives I would say are the music is very loud and lively all day from about 10:00 am to about 22:30 pm at night. There are also a lot of children there who are quite loud as well. Overall it's a good hotel but I personally think it's more suited for a family with children than a quiet holiday getaway for a couple.

What can I say about this hotel except a week is not long enough. The staff are so so friendly, the food caters for all types of critics, the rooms absolutely spotless as was the whole area surrounding the hotel, walkways, stairways, pool area, gym and laundry area. There is a small shop located in the foyer but on the last day we discover a large shop connected to the back of the hotel. I seriously cannot fault one thing about this hotel. Located directly at the beach with some shops in the local area, as this is situated in Matagorda it is a good 45minute to hours walk to the main shopping area but sure when on holiday in the sun isn't the beauty of that in the walking and taking in the scenery. Looking to go back this year.

Fantastic short holiday for the wife and I away from the kids. Staff were so friendly, every single person had a smile and always happy to help. We felt welcomed and nothing was ever too much of a problem. The room was basic but had all we needed and perfectly functional. Great for couples/adults so couldn't comment on a family experience but I can't imagine the experience would be any different. Thank you to the HD beach resort team!

Great location for this hotel, although the buildings and furnishings are a bit tired looking now, this did not dampen our enjoyment. Great staff and great food, more than made up for this. We are led to believe that the hotel will have a complete refurbishment in May 22025 with a planned opening of December as an adult only hotel. We will definitely be returning.

Just spent a lovely week at HD Beach Resort. (Despite the weather). Lovely welcoming hotel, great staff and amenities. Rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Enjoyed the evening entertainment with a variety to suit everyone. Hotel is also close to shops and can get bus to most places on the island. Thank you for a great winter break.

Fabulous hotel in a great position on the beach. Self service buffet for meals - great choices and varied day to day. Bar service fab and entertainment was well... Entertaining 😂 Pool areas lovely and no issues with loungers (some towel ninjas were out early still though).

It was a lovely holiday for some winter sun. The staff were very friendly and kind. They went above and beyond for us on our visit. We were away celebrating a birthday and they brought us a bottle of sparkling wine which was a nice touch. It’s a 15 minute walk to the square which has cute shops and lovely restaurants and bars. We went to the spa on multiple days of our visit, it’s such a lovely spa. For €15 per person you get all day spa access. The spa has multiple hot tubs, a sauna, steam room, cold showers and a lovely pool. There wasn’t much variety with the food at all. The food wasn’t topped up and there was lots of cross contamination with utensils on the desert station which put us off. Despite it being an all inclusive holiday we ate out for multiple meals. We found breakfast to be the best meal of the day at the buffet. We visited the “Italian restaurant” during our visit which we didn’t like at all. They had no vegetarian options and you only had 3 choices to choose from for your main which we found quite bad. We had to leave a log of our food as it was bland and lacked flavour. The food quality was very poor and after talking to other guests during our stay it wasn’t just us who thought this. Our patio door had a damaged lock. the room was outdated and in need of a refurbishment. It was €19 for access to the safe which is needed especially when your patio door doesn’t lock. The rooms were tidied everyday however we only got our towels and bedding changed twice during our week long stay. The WiFi was really bad and we were made to use our data. Having spoken to staff about this during our stay we were informed the hotels free WiFi doesn’t work on Apple Phones. Despite all this we had a nice time in Costa Teguise.

Just come back from a short 5day break and what an amazing experience. From the momement you arrive to departure you are more than looked after. Lucia from the reserve team gave us a great tour of the hotel and even made sure we had the best sea view from our room. She went out her way to get wanting to get us booked in for dinner as we were only there for a few days. The room itself is stunning and very well presented. House keeping staff were excellent. The reserve pool bar/restaurant has an excellent selection of drinks and food was delicious. Thanks to Jonathan for the mojito's- best ones we've had. Also want to mention Carolina for her excellent service - she couldn't do enough for you. They hotel itself is located perfectly and you have everything you need inside the hotel and outside. If you want peace & quiet and to feel completely relaxed this is the hotel for you. We can't wait to come back and stay and one the villas. Thanks again for making the trip something to remember.

Hi, My visit to Paradisus by Meliá was an amazing experience, and my 1st to a Meliá hotel. The hotel, room, staff, food, and everything else was amazing and balanced. The entertainment and daily events were properly executed with excellent staff or quality acts. My visit was mid December 2024 for my Birthday. This was the 1st time ever I have not had, nor wanted to leave a hotel for “more”. Thank you for a Great experience and amazing holiday. P.S. the cocktail bar was amazing.

We stayed here over New year for seven nights. We had a great time but if you want true luxury you have to upgrade to the reserve and pay the extra. Great location. The standard areas are just not five star. Not at all as they should be. The food's okay, it does repeat itself a lot .Drinks were good,lots of branded options on AI.The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you (when you find one) in the standard area . In my eyes the standard area is between a three and a four-star. We Found a lot of broken tiles throughout the hotel floor area. The standard pool there's cracks and broken floor coverings in quite a few places. (See the pictures attached.) We were there in 2019 when this hotel was being renovated. I just don't think they've finished some of the areas and the rooms off to a good standard ,which lets the place down.Unless you upgrade to the reserve and give them even more money. We had issues from day one with the room you had to slam the door to close it. The shower leaked all over the floor and the toilet system kept filling up in the night. It did all get fixed the next day. Jet 2 you should not sell this as a five-star hotel. There was also on arrival a baby in a pram for the first 2 days. This hotel is adult only. Would I go back? Most definitely not. Would I recommend it? Yes if you upgrade to the reserve.

Spent a week here and it was an unforgettable experience. I stayed in a Junior Suite, and the views were perfect. The staff’s service was incredible—they were always attentive to anything needed. I’d like to thank Carina for her warm welcome, Mafalda for being so efficient, and Verónica, who gave us a tour on our first day and explained all the details of the hotel. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a really lovely holiday. The hotel was quiet and very stylish. The building is a historical landmark and there is a tour by the entertainment team which explains the history and cultural importance of the hotel. Three "special" restaurants in addition to the buffet one all with excellent food. We used the beautiful gym, attended yoga, pirates and aqua gym classes, plus a creative art class again using the history of the island. The hotel is close to a beautiful beach where we enjoyed swimming in the sea. We will come back here and/or to another Melia hotel soon.

Now home after a week here and it was the best first family holiday experience! It was a bit daunting going away with my two children for first time and making sure we picked a hotel that catered for them as well as my daughters dairy intolerance was so important! Safe to say it was the best choice! Facilities and entertainment were perfect for the children and I have mixed ages - 7 and 2. My daughter loved the mini disco every night even though she was too shy to dance! Location wise was great with shops and beach only 5 minute walk away however we didn’t leave the resort much as preferred the kids pools and shops food etc all you need is at the resort! The staff were particularly great with my daughter and getting her food that didn’t have dairy. They would take me round the buffet every meal time to let me know what foods she could eat and would get her cakes and ice lollies she could have and also would make her dairy free pancakes or pizza especially for her! Was brilliant and was something I was definitely worried about before the trip but everyone was brilliant! Did not want to leave and considered staying longer! We will definitely be back!

Great hotel in a fab location. Short walk to pubs/restaurants and a lovely beach. Hotel is spotless and the staff can’t do enough for you. Always so friendly and welcoming and great with kids. Our little boy had the best time. Special thank you to Emilia from the animation team/kids club. She is amazing with the kids and they all love her. Would definitely return

Rooms were a bit thin and we could hear next door during the early hours, however that’s not a fault of the hotel. The hotel was not up to our expectations but it was a nice half term break away and there was lots of space to explore. There were plenty restaurants and bars to check out on the beach front. Emilia from kids club was amazing and great with the children. They work a lot of hours and have a varied amount of activities that the kids enjoyed.

Was very impressed with this hotel. It is spotless and beautiful layout. The room was so clean, bright and welcoming & comfortable. Food was fantastic. Everyone working there so friendly and helpful. I cannot fault anything and look forward to going back. Felt it was very good value. Well done all

This is our second year coming here and will be booking again next January. We find the location very good, decent rooms, very good selection of food on the buffets and friendly staff. On the topic of staff, a special mention to the entertainment team: they all do a fantastic job with the activities and the shows but also are very friendly and make the stay even more special. Lucia, Francy, Tony, Angelina and Jeremias were all excellent by the pool side and in the games area. So good to see Papa and Zach again from last year too. Thank you all for being such a great team. Also a special thanks to the Maris bar staff and the front of house staff in the main restaurant
