Beautiful hotel, sea view room has an amazing view. The staff are wonderful and polite, the bar staff are entertaining and wonderful. The evening entertainment is brilliant. The pools and a good size and plenty of sunbeds. The food is wonderful with plenty to choose from, the restaurant itself has an amazing view. The only thing I would suggest is the bathroom in the hotel rooms could do with improvement, the shower heads leak a bit and the glass shower doors need a new seal as water does get through and goes onto the floor. Other than that a wonderful hotel, will definitely be back.

Me and partner’s experience at this Hotel was fantastic. Perfect location, hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were always friendly attentive, always ready to assist with anything. The lovely lady in particular in the restaurant/dinner service was always smiling and polite, she must have seen somewhere it was my birthday and had arranged for room service to give us complimentary Cava. Really wasn’t expecting that and was a very pleasant surprise. Made our experience from 10/10 into 11/10. What a lovely thoughtful gesture from a lovely lady. Wish I knew her name, should have asked

The H10 Tenerife Playa has a great location, right on the promenade with beautiful views – definitely the highlight of the stay.
However, there were several downsides. The family room was quite small, and the beds were very squeaky. The pillows were extremely hard and high, making them uncomfortable not only for adults but especially for children. The walls were also very thin – we could hear every word from the neighboring room.
The restaurant system felt outdated: waiting in line and signing paper slips for meals was not convenient at all. On top of that, the hotel required a €100 deposit upfront for drinks and beverages, which seemed unnecessary and not very guest-friendly. Another big issue is that the hotel has no parking available, which makes it difficult if you are traveling by car.

We stayed at the H10 Tenerife Playa for four nights with a half-board package (breakfast and dinner included).
Our room was a bit on the smaller side, but it did have a nice little balcony. The breakfast buffet was quite good, offering a decent selection. For dinner, it was also a buffet, and while the dishes varied slightly each day, the changes weren't very significant.
Overall, it's a solid option for a stay in Tenerife, especially if you prefer having meals sorted.

I stayed at this hotel from August 5 to 12, 2025.
My first impression was not the best — the hotel clearly needs renovation. However, by the end of the holiday, it made up for that with the kindness of the staff, good food, and a perfect location.
Pros:
1. Comfortable mattresses, spotless bed linen, and daily cleaning.
2. Aqua Gym – energetic, fun, and entertaining.
3. The location – superb, right at the beginning of the promenade, just 1 minute from the beach and 1 minute from Martianez Lake.
4. Good to very good food – varied and tasty.
5. Restaurant with a wonderful view.
6. Door access system – the key is a wristband, which I found brilliant. No more worrying about losing the key – you could go to the pool or beach without thinking about it.
7. Perfect shower pressure, and hot water came instantly.
8. Clean pool towels available every day.
9. Nice shows every evening.
10. Very kind staff – both at the reception and in the bars and restaurant. They always try to find a solution to any problem and fix it as best as they can.
Cons:
1. Small rooms. They’re okay for two people, but when used as triple rooms, they feel cramped. I expected triple rooms to be larger, not just double rooms with an extra bed.
2. In our case, the room also had: mold on the walls, the air conditioner created strong condensation when turned on, and we constantly had water on the floor. Since we were on the ground floor, probably due to the garden, we also had a mouse that found its way under the bathtub.
3. Many unpleasant visual details in the room, like dirty and moldy wallpaper, detached baseboards, and peeling wood on the balcony.
4. At lunch or dinner, there was a queue at the restaurant entrance because a kind of head waiter insisted on escorting each guest to a table – even though it was rarely crowded and more than half the tables were usually free. It was frustrating to wait when there were clearly enough seats, and even more frustrating when he chose a table for you, often the one farthest away.
5. Something I consider very important: drinking WATER! We arrived at the hotel at 1 AM and had to go hunting for water. Although they served us dinner, they wouldn’t let us take water to the room. And there was nowhere to buy any at that hour. Throughout the stay, this remained an issue. We had water at meals, but if you wanted some for the room, they gave it in small plastic cups. I’m not demanding free water in the room with all-inclusive, but at least there should be a way to buy it – a bottle water dispenser, or water available in the minibar, even at a cost. The minibar was empty for the entire stay. I see water as the most basic comfort you can offer a guest — and it was completely lacking.
In conclusion, the hotel’s location saves it. And the staff, who do their best to make up for the outdated, flawed, and moldy rooms, sometimes with bugs and other critters. It clearly needs renovation — it’s a shame for such a beautiful location!
