Overall, a good hotel in a wonderful location with very friendly staff and excellent food but with pretty non-existent evening entertainment.
Room: spacious with a comfy bed, large wardrobe and big balcony.
Food: lots of choice everyday for meat-eaters and vegetarians. Very tasty and service was brilliant.
Location: great location, right next to popular surfing beach and 5 minutes away from basically everything you need.
Entertainment: this is where the hotel went down a star, the entertainment was very poor unless you really loved the same live music by the same people pretty much every night. Luckily the carnival was on so we opted to go out as much as we could.
Pools: absolutely brilliant pools, one heated, one not. They were always quiet and plenty of su beds around the pool area.

The only good thing of this hotel is people from service and perfect location. We stayed 7 days in this hotel , food was not so good. You taste everything with really the lowest quality and I'm even thinking that not all was always fresh.. Second thing - we've got I think the worst room in this hotel. Room number 101 - with no sun, very bad location with the view on the wall of other building (so it was not even view on the swimmingpool or street-please make sure to not take this room!). We tried to change it but it was not possible (shame). Room was not so clean (hairs on the wall in the bathroom), old and a little bit destroyed, it would be good to do there some little renovation.. Service in the hotel like people from restaurant, bar , reception were always very helpful and friendly! In my opinion this hotel deserves 2 max 3 STARS not 4.

3 star at best. Had a good week in Puerto de la Cruz on carnival week. However the hotel is standard at best. Very small rooms. The pool area is nice. The entertainment is like gods waiting room. Very drab and dull. We had a blockage in our shower on night 4 at 10pm and the workman was in our room until almost 11pm. I had to go and ask to be moved to another room so I could shower and sleep. The next day we were given another room which was smaller than the original one. We paid to have a premium room with a sea view, which was more like a hamster cage. Will not be staying here again.

A bit of a mixed review reception on arrival was helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was a touch small but fine. The sea view balcony, lovely.
However breakfast was a different proposition. The hotel seem to be obsessed with seating you, there are three people on this. But no one supplying glasses for juice,. The food was generally cold and the coffee was disappointing. We resorted to eating breakfast out. . Overall we would stay again but room only. We did take the entertainment in, one evening and enjoyed ourselves.

The food is excellent , a good variety of dishes for starters , mains and desserts . all drinks in the evening meal have to be paid for .
The room is a good size and kept clean daily by the excellent cleaning ladies , the decor was a little shabby in places and the towel rail not fully secured to the wall , we had a balcony room , this was on the ground floor and at the front side of the hotel and was over looking pipework etc that was disguised by having a hedge in front of it , so we did not make use of it 🤷♂️
Great views from the roof terrace , plenty of sun beds and seating on the terrace and around the pool , the pool area is lovely , courtesy pool towels are readily available .
I didnt find out until the last day that they had daily events like archery , petanque etc , everything is listed on their web app using the free WiFi but not obvious 🤦♂️ .
There was bit of confusion as to when the room was available on the first day , we were told it was usually 2pm but probably be ok for 1pm , we got back at 1.40pm and was told No its 3pm !!! , but luckily was already for us .
I would stay here again as its a lovely location with great food and service , but would ask for a balcony room higher up 👍👍👍👍
