Me and partner’s experience at this Hotel was fantastic. Perfect location, hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were always friendly attentive, always ready to assist with anything. The lovely lady in particular in the restaurant/dinner service was always smiling and polite, she must have seen somewhere it was my birthday and had arranged for room service to give us complimentary Cava. Really wasn’t expecting that and was a very pleasant surprise. Made our experience from 10/10 into 11/10. What a lovely thoughtful gesture from a lovely lady. Wish I knew her name, should have asked

Staff was excellent so friendly and always smiling and always happy to help.
This Hotel is rated four stars should be five stars .
Rooms so clean and tidy plenty of extra sheets / blankets and pillows
Hidden fridge under cabinet good design so not visible.
Big wardrobes plenty of hangers.
Big beds and so comfy didn't want to get out.
Views from balcony amazing would recommend like our room sea front.
We had all Inclusive
Food was brilliant had everything for everyone and consent topped up
Best Hotel by far for food
Pool bar food also amazing and all day.
Alcohol drinks served all day and even until midnight never rushed you to leave when bar closed
Music and entertainment were good .
Though this Hotel is more suited for adults
Entertainment isn't provided for children nor
So the pools they have two pool areas plus a hot tub which is brilliant.
But as mentioned not much for children.
They've got a small kid's area and a basketball court area. Our recent visit 21/02/25
We noticed it had a big occupation of elderly people and middle aged
Was this the norm? Or just mid-winter escape.
If honest it's catered for adults.
Free Wi-Fi with room
Room serviced everyday
Safe was cheap believe 15euro.
Would strongly recommend you consider
All-inclusive or not as it's cheap to eat and drink out I suppose on individual's budgets.
Plenty to do and see here
Would say treat yourself you'll have a fantastic holiday .

Stayed in June 2025. Very good hotel located in the heart of Puerto Cruz, 50 m away from Lago Martianez and the Ocean. Lots of shops, restaurants and caffeterias in the area, souvenir shops and everything you need within walking distance. The hotel features quiet rooms, not very spacious but very clean with modern amenities. Restaurant with fresh and varied food both for breakfast and dinner. We had only half-board so can say nothing about lunch. Polite staff and very welcoming both in the restaurant area, as well as for the reception and cleaning staff. You have to pay 25 euros extra if you want a kettle in the room for preparing your own coffee early in the morning and 6 euros per day if you want replenishments for that... a bit weird, but this is the hotel policy regarding this aspect. Recommend the hotel and would stay again if ever return to Puerto Cruz, Tenerife. Thank you H10 Tenerife Playa!

Review of H10 Tenerife Playa – January Stay
We stayed at the H10 Tenerife Playa in Puerto de la Cruz for 12 nights in January on an all-inclusive basis. The hotel is in a fantastic seafront location with easy access to the promenade and local attractions.
Check-in & First Impressions
The check-in process was warm and welcoming, with a complimentary glass of cava on arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful, though the process could have been a little more streamlined.
Room (Double Sea View)
We stayed in a Double Sea View Room on the eighth floor (Room 810). The room was bright, clean, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and plenty of charging points. The balcony was small but had a lovely sea view, though lower floors may have obstructed views due to mature trees. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower had great water pressure.
A couple of minor downsides—the wardrobe was quite small for a long stay, and the safe used an old-fashioned key rather than a modern keypad system.
A great feature was the wristband, which doubled as a room key and could also be used for charging purchases to the room. No more lost key cards!
Food & Drink
The hotel has two restaurants:
• El Drago (Main Buffet Restaurant) – a good variety of food, with themed nights (Asian and Mexican were particularly good). The seating area offers great sea views.
• El Lagar (Pool Bar & À La Carte Restaurant) – a casual lunch spot by day, turning into an à la carte restaurant in the evening. The food here was excellent and offered a quieter, more relaxed dining experience compared to the buffet.
There are two bars: a pool bar (open until 5pm) and the main hotel bar (open until midnight). Drinks selection was extensive, and service was friendly and efficient.
Facilities & Entertainment
• Entertainment Lounge – a mix of live singers, acrobats, and flamenco performances. Some shows were better than others, but overall, evening entertainment was decent.
• Daytime activities – aqua aerobics, table tennis, darts, archery, and pétanque.
• Pool area – two pools, including one heated, plus a small hot tub and a toddler pool. A large solarium offers extra sunbathing space.
• Gym & Spa – a small gym with great coastal views and a spa with a sauna and massage treatments (extra charge).
Location
One of the best things about this hotel is the location. It’s right on the seafront, within walking distance to the town centre, local restaurants, and shops. The Lago Martiánez lido is nearby, offering safer seawater swimming for €5.
For day trips, we recommend visiting:
• La Orotava – a charming historic town just 10 minutes away by taxi.
• Santa Cruz de Tenerife – a great day trip, easily accessible by bus (45 mins). Visit on market day (Sunday) for a bustling experience.
Overall Verdict
✅ Pros:
✔ Great seafront location
✔ Comfortable, well-equipped rooms (especially on higher floors)
✔ Good food & drink options
✔ Friendly staff & service
✔ Entertainment & activities for a relaxed stay
❌ Cons:
✖ Wardrobe space in the room could be bigger
✖ Key-operated safe instead of a modern digital one
✖ Some sunbeds shaded at times due to surrounding trees
Would we stay again? Yes, definitely. Despite a few small niggles, the friendly atmosphere, location, and overall experience make this a great option for those looking to explore the north of Tenerife.
