Spring Hotel Bitacora

I wouldn’t suggest this hotel. We have just spent a week here & had things stolen by the cleaners. Reception staff didn’t care when we raised this to them and nothing was done about it. Jaime from reception was incredibly rude! We also paid for all inclusive for 7 days and received all inclusive for 6 days as they stop all inclusive midday, so from midday until our transfer (9pm) we were told that our all inclusive had ended so we had to pay for our own food and drink (although we paid for all inclusive). As a result of this we bought lots of bottles of water to drink throughout the day so asked for ice and the bar staff laughed at us after speaking about us in Spanish. Although this is a good hotel, you don’t get your moneys worth as all inclusive does not cover all of your time at the hotel. When we arrived we were offered no food or drink, therefore arriving at the hotel hungry and thirsty, and the same leaving. It just seems like a money making scheme and when we complained about this at reception we had nothing but rudeness! Our bed sheets were also not washed for a week, with one of the days being left with no towels at all. I do NOT recommend this hotel. The only reason they have good reviews online is because they ask people to give them a good reviews online and in return they get a prize.

Our children had an absolutely brilliant time, and that is in large part due to the incredible entertainment team. They were truly spectacular with the kids, always full of energy and creating a fun and safe atmosphere. The children's club and play facilities were top-notch and kept our little ones entertained for hours, giving us a well-deserved break. The evening entertainment was also a huge hit, with amazing shows and parties that the whole family enjoyed. While we had a great time overall, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. The Fun Bar, while a great spot, was often very busy, and we sometimes had a long wait for drinks. It's a minor point, but worth noting for future guests. The main frustration, however, was the sunbed situation. The race for sunbeds every morning was quite ridiculous, and it felt like you had to be up at the crack of dawn to secure more than two. We felt the pool staff could have been stricter with enforcing the hotel's no-reservation policy to make it fairer for everyone. Despite these small issues, the excellent facilities, especially for children, and the outstanding entertainment team made for a very memorable holiday. We would definitely recommend the Bita Cora to other families looking for a lively and fun break.

This hotel is amazing and family friendly, we’ve made some amazing memories and this is our first family holiday abroad. The food is incredible but the only things needs to be looked at is the evening entertainment as there’s not much on for the evening so we’ve had to go out for a walk most nights and there’s no snack bar at the evening so after tea that’s it until breakfast. We visited the hotel early September 2025 with daughter, son in law and grandchildren. My youngest grand child is a 22-month-old boy who like most that age can open doors and climb. Unfortunately, the balcony door and main door could be easily opened by a child. Whilst querying this with reception were told that there was nothing could be done and it is up to the parents to be vigilant with their children. For a 4-star hotel this was very disappointing. We were offered to move to the first floor the next day however whether a child fell from the 7th or 1st would be fatal! We spent the whole holiday with a bed jammed against the balcony door to prevent a tragedy happening There is a terrible accident waiting to happen and because of this would put me off going there again. Unfortunately, the all-inclusive finishes at your check out time at 12pm and if you are on a later flight you are left high and dry. I think this is a bit mean as on our first day we didn't arrive until 8:30pm. I did query this with a reception and we were issued with a voucher so we could get our lunch, however why put your valued guests through the embarrassment of having to do this. On a positive note, the children had a great time in the lovely pools and play areas. Staff entertaining the children were fantastic and should be congratulated on their creativity and patience! The food was nice with a good selection for all tastes, and the courtesy room provided to get changed and showered before flight was greatly appreciated. Thank You

Overall a good stay. Friendly staff! Varied food (though often not very warm, unfortunately), and fun live music in the evenings – but a bit too loud for my taste. Room cleaning could be better - the floor was dirty even right after cleaning. The poolside food could be improved. The animation at the pool was also a bit too loud for my liking. The hotel’s app was very handy for information and quick contact with the front desk.
