Hotel was really comfortable and the staff very helpful and welcoming ,lovely rooms and good housekeeping.
Food was good plenty of variety at all the meals , it was busy but not packed which made for pleasant dining.
Bit isolated but bars and restaurants within a 10min walk along the seafront, and bus stops outside hotel to take you further.
Enjoyable stay thank you again to all the staff for making it so.

We stayed here mid January 2024 for 4 nights. Whilst booking Half Board was the same price as B&B. When checking in we got offered AI for €30pp per day but declined as we like to explore local restaurants. If you are drinking quite a lot each day then this was a very attractive offer.
Pros.
Really nice kept grounds, everything is top and always well maintained.
Loads of pools and choices to laze about, could have bars dotted about so you’re never far from a drink.
Rooms are very nice.
Buffet restaurant is really good, especially the breakfast.
It’s really close to the airport so a short transfer, there is also 2 local towns nearby if you want to explore.
The B Lounge and patio area are brilliant. Great entertainment each night and great service at the bar. Great selection of drinks.
They have lots of environmental friendly features, reusable cups etc which is great to see.
Cons:
Buffet restaurant had very few labels on the food. Like any buffet restaurant, the food gets repetitive. We ate for 2/4 nights in the evening.
The complex and finding your room can be tricky. Lots of different levels and some lofts only go to certain levels.
Drinks when you’re not AI are quite expensive - small beer and coke are all €3.50, these soon add up. Pool bars can be a bit slow and they don’t seem to offer service at the sun lounger.
Overall a great stay at a superb resort. I’ll definitely look at other Barceló resorts in Europe.

A very bad hotel
We booked two single rooms because of the proximity to the airport. An airport shuttle was offered, but it did not exist. A small dinner was not available, only buffet meals. The "A La Carte Restaurant" also only offered a buffet. The trattoria was closed (on Sundays). There were no other options. The "Guest Experience Manager" did not have a word of apology - he behaved arrogantly and boorishly. The hotel cannot be recommended in any other way. The shower head came loose from its anchorage. The morning shower was an alternation of very hot and cold. There were no Kleenex tissues. The seating in the room was all uncomfortable. The outdoor area consists of concrete serpentine paths and many swimming pools. There is no Mediterranean Tenerife atmosphere. The restaurants are far away from the rooms. There was no breakfast at 7am, just dry bread, muesli and hot drinks. Completely unsuitable for air travelers. Individual tourists are out of place here. The manager made this clear. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. That was the only plus point. Our recommendation: Avoid Barceló Tenerife. This is the worst 5-star hotel we have experienced in very many countries. 5 stars! That is laughable!

What an amazing place!!!!
Everything was fantastic, the room, food and especially the service was outstanding.
The Friday event "Aperitivo" and Micheline star restaurant with Adrian Bosch was absolutely wonderful! And a huge thank you to Victoria for her fantastic service and for booking it for us.
The best place I have ever stayed at on vacation, I will most definitely return!!

Amazing hotel. We spent a week here in early November. Rooms are large and comfortable. Food is very good for a buffet. It has a lot of staples that change slightly every day. Salads, grilled meats and fish etc. Then they have a few different dishes on a different theme every day. Drinks were also good. Wine or beer with lunch and a wide selection of spirits and cocktails at the bars. The quality of the cocktails varied slightly depending on who made it but never bad
