My wife and I spent 10 days at H10 Costa Mogan in February in a Superior Junior Sea-view Suite. It was first rate. The weather was excellent and this inevitably colours a review.
The room was spacious and well equipped. I'm not a fan of the open-plan bathroom but it was OK. A jarring note was a small daily charge for coffee capsules and a bottle of water in the room even for All inclusive guests.
Service at all stages and levels was a highlight. Right from booking to check-out there wasn't a problem. The staff were friendly and professional.
We were All inclusive and there were no glaring exceptions.
Food was plentiful and varied. They struggled to keep so many choices warm but that's always a challenge.
Location is great. There's not a lot in Plays del Cura but it's a half hour walk to Amadores, an hour walk to Puerto Rico and there are buses to pretty much everywhere on Gran Canaria.
Evening entertainment was pretty good with "Stylefree ft.Ale Martin" being a highlight. He was a class above.

My 2 friends and I had a lovely week at this hotel I would just like to mention a few staff names that helped make our holiday the best. We would like to thank Isias animation for keeping us fit in the pool and amused during the day .Emir our lovely pool bar man and Airam for delicious cocktails. Reception team brillant especially Gabriel and to all the staff they were wonderful . Our rooms were spotless only problem was the shower floor a bit slippery . Wide variety of food something for everyone . The fusion restaurant was fantastic from the food to attentive service . We are booking again but staying a bit longer as we felt 7 days was too short.

Just returned from a fabulous week away. Food outstanding, staff 1st class and rooms lovely.
The entertainment in the evening was generally good and the hotel alsi arranged a valentine glass making jewellery workshop which was amazing and unique and we got to keep our necklaces .
Can honestly say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning in the future. Thanks to all.

A lovely hotel in a quiet part of the island, reception staff were great, with a welcome drink on arrival, the rooms were large and very clean and cleaned to a high standard every day, the restaurant was really good with attentive staff and a great selection of very tasty food something for everyone. We had one dinner in the Fusion restaurant which was fantastic, Toni our waitress who looked after us was so lovely and the food was excellent, it was my Birthday while we were away a bottle of fizz and a hand written card were left in the room which was a thoughtful touch. The pool and pool area were lovely with plenty of sunbeds to go round, also a roof top terrace with a bar great for a late afternoon cocktail. If you did want to get out and about the bus stop was a few minutes walk away with buses going to lots of places on the island. Last of all I must mention ‘Isaias’ Top man, such a lovely person he took the exercise classes and arranged the pool side games. H10 you’ve got to keep hold of this man he’s a real asset to you.

Great location, right next to the beach! Literally 30 seconds walk and you are on the beach. Hotel is adults only so generally a quiet relaxing atmosphere.
Room was lovely. Comfy bed and clean.
We were all-inclusive and there was a huge variety of food options in the buffet-style restaurant with lots of choice for every meal. We also got one evening meal at the a la carte restaurant included with our booking and that was great too.
All of the staff were friendly and attentive.
They do have someone doing a variety of 'animation' events throughout the day but it's not intrusive if you don't want to take part.
One other point to mention is that they had 'shows' (singers etc.) every evening outside near the bar, which ran from about 9pm until 10.30pm. They were entertaining (if you are in to that type of thing) but also very loud, even from the room. So no chance really of an early night before they finished between 10-10.30pm.
Not the cheapest hotel, however, all-in we felt it was value for money compared to places we have stayed before.
Playa Del Cura itself is very quiet, with only a Spar supermarket, a couple of restaurants and a few hotels.
It's a mile or two walk around to the next bays of Playa de Amadores and Puerto Rico, where there are bigger 'centres'.
There are regular, cheap buses both down to Puerto De Mogan (only 15 mins) and all the way up the coast to Maspalomas and beyond to the capital (Las Palmas).
Overall a great stay for us, with beautiful sunsets. We would recommend the hotel.
