Just home from our latest and regular winter sun holiday at the Melia. Felt like they had upped their game this year. The hotel is always very nice and relaxing. We do the Level experience, which gives you an exclusive breakfast experience and a separate quieter pool amongst other benefits. We also do all inclusive which takes away the stress. The food was very good, especially if you take up the options of cook to order fish or meats. The salads options are also very good. The staff though are excellent and elevate the experience. We also ate at the Pico Negro restaurant which was nice but if we were paying full price, probably not worth it.
This year I must give extra thanks to Nicole in particular, but also Jocelyn, Natalia, Jose and Julien who were all amazing - thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable and relaxing.
We enjoyed the bands in the bar in the evening - definitely better than in years gone by - and the early evening drinks seeing the sun go down on the terrace are great. My only plea is for them to replace the chairs both in the level breakfast terrace and at the lunch terrace with something comfortable. My back hasn’t yet recovered.
We are already looking at coming again next year.
Thanks again for making winter much more bearable 😎

We recently stayed at this hotel in Tenerife and overall had a pleasant experience, with some areas that could definitely be improved.
First of all, the staff were friendly, professional and always willing to help. A special mention goes to the housekeeping team, who did a wonderful job throughout our stay. The hotel is very well located and offers a splendid view over the Bay of Adeje, which is truly a highlight. Our room was beautiful, nicely decorated, and the bedding was extremely comfortable.
However, the hotel would greatly benefit from renovation. The common areas leading to the rooms are not at the standard one would expect from a 5-star property, and the bottom of the swimming pool appears worn and in need of refurbishment.
We stayed on a half-board basis. While breakfast was very good, the dinner buffet was unfortunately disappointing. It felt more like a cafeteria than a 5-star dining experience in terms of food quality. Additionally, drinks not included in the half-board package are excessively priced.
In summary, the hotel has strong potential thanks to its staff, location and rooms, but improvements in facilities and dining quality are needed to truly meet 5-star expectations

Fantastic staff at every turn at this lovely hotel on the hill.
Cannot fault the service, cleanliness and relaxed atmosphere at the Meliá. I’m glad we took the Level upgrade option as it added to the adult only, escape from reality we needed, but even without it plenty of space and calm to be found.
The food was delicious, and the cooked on request stations were superb. We would definitely consider returning if another child free holiday opportunity presents itself.

Absolutely wonderful trip. It was a little while ago. I've only just started reviewing on Google.
Food was out of this world. Really high quality.
The hotel and pool was possibly one of the best I have stayed in. Really absolutely beautiful. The water rockery at reception was incredible.
Nicole loved it the necklace making. Looking at coming back at Christmas or early next year.
Only issue we had was the people working behind the the pool bar. They were really slow at serving us. Also how they asked for our room number made us feel like we were criminals. It's not a cheap place. I would expect a different approach with guests.

We had an all inclusive week in January to dodge the miserable uk winter. It was a wonderful break in glorious sunshine made even better by this fabulous hotel.
The staff are all really friendly and helpful. The quality of the food in the buffet is excellent and varied for each meal. There is always an option to have something cooked fresh and a huge selection of everything else.
The two onsite restaurants are also excellent, with one included in the package and the other priced at 50% for food - but well worth it.
Lovely grounds, very well maintained and fab to sit by the pool with a small, but well stocked bar.
The rooms are big, with a sofa and desk alongside the massive bed but are not crowded. Maybe they are a little tired in places but a very very minor issue.
Would definitely recommend the all-inclusive package as it’s excellent value and you would definitely consume more than the difference between this and the half board rate.
Many people we met were on a return visit and we will be there again next year.
