The rooms are a bit outdated, as well as the bathroom, but the cleanliness is at the level of a five-star hotel. The room is cleaned every day, with fresh towels and bed linen replaced regularly. We stayed in room 130, and I would especially like to praise the housekeeper, who was always accommodating and provided us with extra towels (because of my hair).
I would also like to give a big thank you to the receptionist, Alex, who immediately solved the heating problem in our room. I would also like to compliment the friendly bartenders and waiters.
The highest praise goes to the chefs, who are truly outstanding — genuinely top-class. I have eaten in many higher-rated hotels and restaurants, but I have never had better or more diverse food. It is especially perfect for those of us who love fish, vegetables, and seafood. There is also a wide selection for meat lovers — I have rarely tasted meat that was so juicy and delicious. They can easily compete with top chefs and stuffs.
Highly recommended!

Ok so this is gonna be a honest down to earth review of the hotel. Ignore the 5* reviews it isn’t anything remotely near a 5* hotel. So I’m gonna go through the positives:
The staff were great. They were really kind, friendly and went out of their way. The inside looks as though it had been refurbed recently and had one new lift. The lounge area by the bar was nice to sit around and have a drinks each day and night. The room looked refurbed and spacious (I was on floor 3, 308).
Now the not so positives:
The location is meh, not on the seafront and no seafront facing rooms, I advise not getting a pool side room as you could hear everything at night. No soundproofing to the rooms.
For a refurbed room, noticed some dents and cracks in the walls and ceiling. The curtain(s) looked worn and needed a clean, the beds were not great, too firm, the bathroom on the whole clean however, taps had cleaner products smeared on them from where they had been wiped and cleaned. The soap dispensers need new tops on, looked grubby so a bit off putting, the toilet was clean, the shower was clean but, usual signs of wear and tear.
Evening entertainment, always the same, same music for the disco, the live band on Sunday and the live singer on Wednesday were great and on the whole the entertainment team were great, just no real verity.
The food, well breakfast was bang average, whatever you got for lunch you got for dinner so very samey and just got boring. If I were not all inclusive, I would have eaten elsewhere certainly dinner and or lunch. The batched cooked food for the buffet was bang average at best. The wine wasn’t that great either. Not too sure why coffee and cold drinks machines were being turned off nearly an hr before breakfast and lunch service ended a fair few of the days. To me you do that once service ends. On the whole the food was nothing to write home about and anyone comparing in reviews to restaurant standards needs to give their head a wobble or used to dining in poor quality establishments.
Drinks, nothing to write home about, coffee was disgusting from the canteen vender, Cava was awful, Wine on the whole was poor, beer was meh like a cheap San Miguel, Gin was decent though.
Didn’t bother with the pool or spa facilities, did use a sun bed on day 3/7 and it the sunbed was unkept. The chairs in the lounge area also in need of replacement or a good deep clean.
So on the whole the staff were great, the location is decent in relation to the airport and beaches/central Can Pastilla.
This is very much a get what you pay for hotel. It isn’t worthy of 5*. Sadly can’t give 3.5 stars as I think thats what it is worthy of. I’m reluctant to give 4 as just too many things were bang average at best or lack lustre.
So if you are gonna stay here things to keep in mind:
-Food is very samey
-Drinks quality are poor
-Rooms although refurbed although in the whole clean, not maintained and you have to hire things such as a safe, towels for the pool, kettle, iron, cot etc
-Can hear everything from the room so compromised on privacy
-Staff do the respect the keep out sign
You get what you pay for, I’d stay here again if I could not book into my preferred hotel(s) but, don’t take the 5* reviews as Gods word as it isn’t.

My mother and I have just returned from a month at the Calma Hotel. We have spent many times here and we are always treated like family. My mum is 90 and all the staff treat her like royalty.
We always find the food very varied and there is always something for everyone including those with special diets ( as long as you tell them) The bar staff are always friendly along with the reception staff. The rooms a great and cleaned every day.
The Wellness area is wonderful to relax in. Treatments are bookable so relax and enjoy.
Wonderful hotel. Thank you all.

Spent 5 nights here over October half term, all inclusive. Nice little hotel. Staff are all amazing. Very clean. Plenty of sun-beds. Good entertainment. 5 mins walk to a lovely beach. 5 minute taxi ride from airport, so expect the noise of planes (you get used to it). Variety of foods, catered to french, german, spanish and English so you can try different cuisines. Lovely little spa and gym. Extremely impressive for a 3 star hotel.

Just had a really relaxing week at this hotel. Not a bad word to say.
Room was clean. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly.
Prices very reasonable. Location good. 5 minutes walk from the beach. 5 minutes walk to catch a bus to palma. Plenty of places to eat.
Would definitelycome back.
