What a stay! This hotel has it all!
The staff provide the best service I have ever received in an all inclusive!
The food was amazing all week, usually buffets aren’t the best but myself, wife and the kids loved it, plus there’s loads of restaurants to choose from (the Lebanese was our favourite).
The location was perfect and we can’t wait to return!

Absolutely Amazing Stay – 5 Stars!
Our stay at Pickalbatros Golf Resort was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of joy.
A huge shoutout to the entertainment team – Ofa, Micky, and Ferrari – who truly made our holiday special. They were absolutely amazing, especially with our children. Their energy, kindness, and ability to engage with all the kids made every day fun and memorable.
The food was another highlight – so many different dishes and cuisines to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. The poolside food was also top-notch, with chefs who were not only talented but also super attentive and friendly.
Every single person we met, from staff to other guests, had a smile on their face. There's just such a positive, relaxed vibe everywhere.
Good food, good weather, and good people – what more could you ask for? I honestly don’t think a resort has ever ticked every single box like this one. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

I recently stayed at Golf Beach Resort and, while there are a few highlights worth mentioning, the overall experience left much to be desired — particularly in areas that are critical for a 5-star resort.
✅ Pros:
• The resort offers complimentary access to golf and tennis, which is a nice touch.
• There are several bars and restaurants on-site that you can enjoy at no extra cost.
• The coral reef near the pier is actually quite good, and the pier itself is well-maintained and easy to access.
❌ Cons — and here’s where things went wrong:
1. Overwhelming Russian focus in animation and entertainment
It was genuinely surprising — and disappointing — to see the hotel heavily oriented toward the Russian-speaking market. All the animation, music, and interactive programs were conducted in Russian, even though many guests were Italian, Polish, and Ukrainian. A large part of the audience either didn’t understand Russian or actively preferred not to hear it.
Having Soviet-era songs blasting in the main restaurant felt outdated and off-putting — it literally transported you to the USSR, in the worst way possible. If the hotel wants to attract a solvent European audience, Russian-only animation shouldn’t be the default.
2. Staff replying in Russian when addressed in English
This was especially frustrating. Even when I spoke to staff in clear English, they would often reply in Russian — which felt both inappropriate and unprofessional in a supposedly international resort.
I’ve previously stayed at a Pickalbatros hotel in Sharm, and the difference was night and day. There, the animation was in English and Italian — clearly aligned with their guest demographics. Golf Beach Resort is seriously behind in this regard, and it shows.
3. Rooms are outdated and not well-maintained
We had a “superior room”, but it did not meet expectations:
• There was visible mold on the bathroom tiles.
• The sink broke on the first day (though maintenance came quickly).
• Lighting issues occurred more than once.
• The rooms clearly need renovation and do not feel 5-star by any modern standard.
Staff offered us a better room for an extra charge — we declined.
4. Housekeeping inconsistency
For the last three days of our stay, we didn’t receive toilet paper, even after specifically requesting it, despite tipping daily. Instead, we were left with only a small pack of tissues — again, not something you expect from a 5-star resort.
5. Food is fine, but repetitive
There’s a decent variety and some dishes are tasty, but the menu tends to repeat, and the overall impression is just “good enough”, not exceptional.
Also — who puts a whole orange in a dry lunch box? Who thought that was a good idea?

📌 Final thoughts:
This hotel has potential, but it’s currently nowhere near a true 5-star standard. If you’re not a Russian speaker, be ready to feel alienated during most activities — we often had to walk out of entertainment sessions because there was simply no point staying.
If the resort wants to attract a broader international audience, it needs to radically rethink its cultural positioning, upgrade its rooms, and seriously improve communication standards.

I had a really pleasant stay at Albatross Golf in Egypt. The highlight of my visit was definitely the staff – they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their warm hospitality made the whole experience feel extra special💋💋
