Myself and my partner have just returned home from a weekend break at Costa bastion and after reading some reviews we were a little sceptical about what to expect but what I can say is we had an amazing time here, the staff are friendly and welcoming and always on hand to help with any queries. The hotel itself was nice to enter as the foyer was stunning, check in was quick and easy. The rooms were cleaned daily and we had left stuff out on the table and stuff and nothing was touched so the housekeeping staff are very trustworthy and also very friendly. There are lots of food options to choose from with dishes changing daily which was good as you always had something else to choose from. The sun bathing area is big so there was no need to run to get a lounger and your not allowed to leave towels on them to claim them either which is good. There are big palm trees at the sun bathing area but we were thankful for these as it provides a bit of shade in the heat. We didn't use the pool but it did look very clean and there was always a cleaner going around mopping and picking up litter which was good to see. The hotel does have smoking areas at the pool bar and outside reception also you are allowed to smoke on your balcony. The area was out biggest worry with the reviews saying how far it was to the beach and main area but once we set off it wasn't so bad the main beach is a little walk but and enjoyable one. Electric chairs and scooters are available to hire at the hotel for younger ones or older ones to get around the area. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away for all your groceries and things and bars and cafe are only 5 minutes away as well. The main square is about a 20 minute walk or a 2 minute drive in a taxi. Overall myself and my partner enjoyed our stay at Costa Bastian and are now looking to book again but taking kids next time as we think they would love it. Thank you for a very enjoyable time at your hotel and we can't wait to return.

Go to this hotel with an open mind! We weren't sure what to expect because of some really bad reviews, however that was not the case! The hotel was fabulous 👌 really really clean. Our room was spacious and clean with tea/coffee making facilities. Also cleaned daily by really nice helpful staff. Enjoyed entertainment each night which was a bonus as its January so not expected and the team work really hard to get people to interact we had great fun especially Rachel and the 2 lads (sorry cant remember names) Bar staff did an outstanding job and always so pleasant as did all staff, reception staff extremely helpful. Food okay we didn't go hungry anyway! Only downside was the weather unfortunately we didn't get a great week weather wise but thats not hotels fault, we met some great people during our week there! Would definitely like to return to this hotel. Thank you 😊
360 camera was brilliant, liana doing 360 camera was great.

We stayed 5 days for my friends birthday and to be honest, I was amazed with the friendly staff. Stephane, Sandra, Jose, among others, they were so lovely, helpful, fun and attentive at all times. The rooms are so specious, comfy and the facilities in the hotel are so good that you don’t really want to leave the place. Food is so tasty and I strongly recommend to go all inclusive. The only thing I didn’t like is that the pools have no heater so they were kinda of cold to enjoy.

First off this is a 3* hotel. I don't know why they try and claim it's 4, it's really not and they don't charge 4* pricing.
The rooms are fine but get very stuffy, the Aircon doesn't work and the room smells often of sewage. They do get ants and cockroaches, probably because the room cleaning is minimal, only seem to make the beds and fold of your damp towels, they clearly weren't wiping surfaces or cleaning the floor during our stay. Housekeeping also left our door open one day when they didn't shut it properly and walked in without knocking when we had the do not disturb sign on the door.
The hotel has decent facilities however they're not particularly well looked after. There were 2 jacuzzis however one was cold and the other was just warm, certainly not hot. They also had a sign next to them saying you had to book it the day before.
The all inclusive package is ok but there is a lot not included in it, and everything seems to come with an extra charge or at least a cash deposit.
The food was ok, what you expect from a 3* all inclusive. Most of it was clearly labelled including allergens so that was good to see.
Finally, there is no point booking direct. Everything sold as a benefit to booking direct was a lie. No early or late check out available (in the middle of January!) and free pool towels which is actually a €10 deposit that anyone can use.

Wonderful hotel we absolutely loved it and it made our vacation truly special. This was our babymoon, and we felt very safe and well taken care of throughout our stay. The staff were excellent, the rooms were lovely, and the views were beautiful.
Room: The room was spacious and had plenty of storage space in the wardrobe for clothes and shoes. It included a safe, fridge, hairdryer, a small couch, and a coffee machine. The balcony overlooked the pool and the mountains, which was a big highlight. The bathroom was clean, and housekeeping cleaned the room every day.
Facilities and Entertainment: The hotel has a large pool (not heated), a children’s pool, a kids’ play area, mini golf, darts, a gym, and a small convenience store with all the essentials. There is also a luggage weighing machine, a pool bar, an amphitheater, another indoor bar, and plenty of sun loungers. The entertainment program changes every day and includes karaoke, salsa night, acrobatics, games night, and bingo every evening.
Food: We had half board, which was good overall. The food is average, but there is a wide variety to choose from. Breakfast is mostly the same every day, eggs, cereal bar, cold cuts, bread, and drinks. Dinner varies more. There is a fresh/live cooking section where chefs prepare fresh meat, fajitas, pizza, eggs, and seafood daily. The salad counter is very good, and we especially loved the fresh food, dried fruits, and seeds section. There are some vegetarian options, many dessert choices, and ice cream. The only issue was the food was not always labeled correctly!
Staff and Safety: They havea 24/7 front desk. Any issues we had were handled immediately by the staff. Special thanks to the reception team, we had a medical emergency and needed to see a gynecologist and go to the hospital. They guided us very well, helped us through the process, and even checked on us the next day to make sure we were okay. This really meant a lot to us and made us feel safe and supported.
Location:The location is excellent only about a 12-minute drive from the airport. There are many restaurants, shops, bars, and supermarkets nearby. Bike rental is right across the street, and there is quick access to most sightseeing places.
