We visited here in Dec '25 and it was just the most lovely stay. We were actually in the Ria PETIT Karmela and it is literally just across the way from the main Karmela where you have breakfast. These riads are along a small private alleyway that has its own security guard at night time.
The stay itself was lovely, we had a gorgeous room and the riad is so well kept. The staff were SO LOVELY and made us feel so at home. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and there was an omelette and crepe/pancake station where you could get this made fresh for you.
On arrival our driver called the riad ahead of us getting there to order in a meal for us since it was quite late and we didn't want to go out and about. We had the most delicious fish tagine here. The mint tea and biscuits on arrival was also a nice touch.
Location is also great. Few minutes walk and you hit the souks.
All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to book Riad karmela again if we were to return to marrakech.

We stayed in one of their sister properties, Zineb or Petit Karmela. The room was very comfortable and located in the heart of medina.
The property itself was very serene and peaceful. We enjoyed walking around and sitting outside. Our stay was particularly improved by very thoughtful Aziz who went above and beyond for the smallest of asks.

This place was lovely once you entered the buildings, with multiple interior patios with gurgling pools and comfortable furniture. The whole atmosphere invited us to relax and feel welcome. The staff was soooo nice, completely committed to the guests’ satisfaction. The breakfast and other meals were excellent, served at their rooftop terrace.
The only drawback was its location: it was difficult to find even for the gps- however, the riad staff was more than willing to pick us up from the place where the taxi dropped us off. Once we got fully oriented to the area we were able to get to the souks and many of the tourist attractions.

We recently stayed at Riad Karmela and had a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this gorgeous authentic Riad. Aziz and Mohammed need special mention as they went above and beyond to make our stay special. They make you feel very welcome and part of the family. No ask is too much. Aziz even ran around the souk to find someone to repair my husband's glasses after he had changed to go home. Glasses came back like new. Can't wait to go back.

My stay at Riad Karmela was wonderful and memorable, the rooms were cosy, air-conditioned and traditional.
Room service was dedicated and friendly, breakfast was sumptuous.
Location while been very central within the Medina with attractions and landmarks easily accessible it does come with busy pedestrian and motorbikes traffic (however I slept well without noise been an issue).
No regrets😊👍🏾
